We stayed on the property for 4 nights with kids and all. Everyone had a great time! The scenery is fantastic as well as entertaining. The sheep and dogs were friendly and Karen is very open to sharing her lifestyle with her guests. Stay here for the experience as well as the views! Thanks again!

Karen & Jon made us feel welcome but also gave us total privacy to enjoy the beautiful property on our own. We arrived to warm, freshly baked french bread our first day. Karen took the time to tour us through the barns, gardens and enjoyed touring the felting showroom. We even got to meet the newborn lambs. We definitely will return. Thank You!

Had the most wonderful stay. The guest house was so cute! We were greeted with a freshly baked sourdough bread! Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows! I loved that there was a nightlight in the bedroom and the bathroom, I normally travel with my own but had forgotten it this trip. It’s nice to not stumble around in the dark when trying to find the bathroom! The night sky is filled with stars that we don’t get to see living in a subdivision in the city. We were able to take a little tour of the grounds with Karen and made a quick stop in her shop to purchase a few gifts. I highly recommend!

Spent night at ranch with family including young kids on road trip from Washington to Northern CA. Wonderful place to stay! Karen was an incredible host and we all loved the beautiful setting. Karen introduced us to some of the animals on the ranch and kids had lots of fun seeing and learning about she processes wool all the way from sheep to some amazing creations in her store. House was really charming and had everything we needed. The ranch sits in country several miles from nearby small towns but Karen great about offering some recommendations on restaurants. Definitely recommend staying at the ranch for something different and very memorable!

Such a great place to stay. The hosts were so kind and have thought of everything in the rental including a nice big basket of snacks to take with to Crater Lake. Just a short drive to Medford airport. The sheep and onsite shop are amazing. The sunsets are the best

Loved the guest house! It had everything we needed on an amazing property. We even got to hold some new puppies. The gardens were a joy to roam as well. Karen and Jon are super friendly and helpful. It was a quick stay for us and we wish we had more time to spend there. You won't be disappointed!

We loved our stay at Liongate Farm. The guest house was really comfortable, clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. But it is the hosts, Karen and John, that make this place such a treasure. It was a pleasure to talk with them and chat throughout our stay. Karen went above and beyond showing us everything around the farm and giving our kids a step by step tour and explanation of the wool making process. Our kids (7 and 10) LOVED everything about our stay, from befriending the dogs and cats and learning all about the sheep and lambs to making s'mores by the firepit in the evening. This was the perfect place to relax and unwind while visiting Crater Lake! Lots of outdoor seating, a beautiful garden, and beautiful scenery. We'll definitely be coming back.

We travelled with our three young kids, (4,5,6) and had a great time. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. There is no dishwasher so bring paper plates if you don't feel like doing the dishes constantly. Our kids enjoyed the s'mores, running around on the grass, petting the dogs and cats@ feeding the sheep. Karen was a great host. We highly recommend this place. This is a farm and there are a LOT of bugs. They are everywhere and some unfortunately get into the house. If that sort of thing bothers you - don't stay here. While there we went to the fish hatchery, mill creek falls and avenue of the boulders.

Absolutely amazing property and an even more amazing host. Karen and Jon were great at communication and just made you feel at home. How can you beat freshly baked sourdough bread and farm fresh eggs waiting for you when you check in? Property was immaculate and rivals five star hotels' cleanliness. Would definitely stay here again if in the area again!

This place had everything we needed for a few nights stay in the area. And the description online was spot on. We were looking for an option besides camping where we could visit Crater Lake for a day and also explore the rest of the area. The drive was about an hour and ten minutes to Crater Lake but not bad at all. The house and the property were perfect, nice farm setting, everything was clean, and a very quiet area. Absolutely no complaints and we would definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

The farm is beautiful, and we loved looking at the extensive gardens and the sheep! It was such an idyllic setting. Everything about the house was immaculate and comfortable, and the delicious fresh made sourdough bread was such a fantastic touch, especially when we arrived late. This property was very clean and I could tell that the host had thought of so many of the details. We came in after a long travel day to find a fresh loaf of sourdough bread on the counter which was promptly devoured by our family of seven. It was delicious! My husband and I were in the area for a family event for the week and needed a quiet spot to hide away while we both worked remotely. The space was absolutely perfect - with both a desk and a dining room table (and more importantly, a door between the two). It was refreshing to take breaks during the day and walk around the property. Many conversations were had with sheep, dogs, and my favorite 3-legged cat. I appreciated Karen showing me her artwork in the shop. Best of all, we were greeted with a fresh out of the oven loaf of sourdough bread when we arrived. We were truly spoiled during our stay. This is the perfect retreat.

This was the perfect place to stay while we visited family that lives nearby. There was plenty of room and outside was fun to explore. It doesn't advertise being for kids but there were still safety things in place like plug covers and lights where there are steps. We will stay again. Thank you!

The guest house is cozy and cute. Lots of space to spread out and comfy accomodations. The property is lovely with tons of character and beautiful flowers. The owners were so nice as well. I definitely recommend this place as we had a great stay.

Karen was the most accommodating hostess. We were greeted by sweet messages and freshly baked sourdough bread. The space was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The couch is heavenly, the mattresses are in great shape and the scenery that surrounds you on this heavenly little piece of property will not disappoint. We were absolute dunces ourselves, overslept, and will be forever sorry for any inconveniences we caused in our late check out. Hope this place thrives, Karen is doing a fantastic job of maintaining this sweet spot! There was a strange occurrence with the app checking us out when we had not. I do not know if there is an auto check out feature after a certain period of time? No relevance on the stay at all, just a little hiccup. Thanks Karen, R&R

We loved our stay at Liongate Farm. The guest house was really comfortable, clean and tidy, and had everything we needed. But it is the hosts, Karen and John, that make this place such a treasure. It was a pleasure to talk with them and chat throughout our stay. Karen went above and beyond showing us everything around the farm and giving our kids a step by step tour and explanation of the wool making process. Our kids (7 and 10) LOVED everything about our stay, from befriending the dogs and cats and learning all about the sheep and lambs to making s'mores by the firepit in the evening. This was the perfect place to relax and unwind while visiting Crater Lake! Lots of outdoor seating, a beautiful garden, and beautiful scenery. We'll definitely be coming back.

We stayed with Karen at the ranch for four nights. We had a fabulous time. We spent two days at Crater Lake National Park and we also spent a day checking out the waterfalls along Highway 62. There is an area called Mill Creek Scenic Area where you can see Mill Creek Falls and Barr Creek Falls. The Avenue of the Giant Boulders was amazing and lots of fun for my teens. Karen’s ranch was wonderful. It was such a quiet and peaceful setting. We never heard a single sound, despite Karen’s warning that it is a working ranch. Very, very peaceful. The animals were so fun to be around. We really enjoyed feeding the sheep apples from the trees. The guest house is absolutely adorable. I loved everything about it. It was super clean and everything we needed was provided for us. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Karen and Jon for everything.

This was a perfect place for us to visit Crater Lake and take in the plays in Ashland. Karen was a fantastic host and the sourdough bread was amazing. A very peaceful and restful place to stay. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get away from it all.

This place had everything we needed for a few nights stay in the area. And the description online was spot on. We were looking for an option besides camping where we could visit Crater Lake for a day and also explore the rest of the area. The drive was about an hour and ten minutes to Crater Lake but not bad at all. The house and the property were perfect, nice farm setting, everything was clean, and a very quiet area. Absolutely no complaints and we would definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

Karen & Jon made us feel welcome but also gave us total privacy to enjoy the beautiful property on our own. We arrived to warm, freshly baked french bread our first day. Karen took the time to tour us through the barns, gardens and enjoyed touring the felting showroom. We even got to meet the newborn lambs. We definitely will return. Thank You!

Had the most wonderful stay. The guest house was so cute! We were greeted with a freshly baked sourdough bread! Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows! I loved that there was a nightlight in the bedroom and the bathroom, I normally travel with my own but had forgotten it this trip. It’s nice to not stumble around in the dark when trying to find the bathroom! The night sky is filled with stars that we don’t get to see living in a subdivision in the city. We were able to take a little tour of the grounds with Karen and made a quick stop in her shop to purchase a few gifts. I highly recommend!

This property was very clean and I could tell that the host had thought of so many of the details. We came in after a long travel day to find a fresh loaf of sourdough bread on the counter which was promptly devoured by our family of seven. It was delicious! A wonderful weekend stay for a girlfriends craft weekend..the host Karen and Jon make sure you have everything you need..the property is gorgeous with blooming flowers everywhere.
