Excellent location close to dining, other activities and well maintained property. Parking is available in the basement, it can be slightly tight for bigger vehicles but we were fine with a mid size SUV. Good size rooms and comfortable beds.

There was no AC in the room, but there was in the common areas. So the rooms were warm and the hallways were super cold. We had fans for the room, but they didn’t help much. The laundry facilities were down the whole time we were there. Staff was great. Breakfast was OK.

Clean room, great beds. Furnishings made of pine throughout the hotel. Elevator access. Underground parking. A little hard to access with 2 roads effected. 1 for maintenance and the other for the snow block carving.

During my visit, the elevator was out of service all the time. I had to take the stairs to the 3rd floor every time I wanted to get to my room. My foot has an injury and this was not good for my foot. Other than that, my stay was good.

Great location in downtown Banff. Only concern was parking…we paid to park in the underground garage. The spaces were crazy small and difficult to maneuver. But it was convenient. Overall, a great hotel and stay.

Our room was not clean, hairs were found on the shower walls, on the shower floor, in the bed and we also found an old sock on the carpet. The staff was great and helpfull but at the end, it takes 2 rounds on cleaning to properly clean the room. I will not recommend to a friend.

The hotel is close to lots of restaurants, shops, and stores. The staff were all super friendly and very accommodating. Our room was clean, and the bed was really comfortable. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed our stay!

Our overall stay was wonderful—pretty clean and comfortable accommodations made it enjoyable. I think the price were very reasonable as well. Very nice staff. However, our room faced the back side, where we could hear noise from the dumpster and facing to the back of the kitchen of the neighboring building, which affected the ambiance. The view wasn’t particularly scenic either.

We had a great stay. Our room was super clean, tidy and well-furnished in a western motif. We live in a log home, so appreciate the round wood furnishings and decor throughout the building. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Included breakfast is very good. Will be back...

Located in a great spot downtown. Rooms were nice and clean. First room with a king bed had a very tiny shower. It was 23 inches wide by 32 inches long inside, showering dimension. Made it very difficult to shower in a 23 inch wide space. The beds were extremely comfortable. The second room was very noisy. People kept me up until about four in the morning, laughing and carrying on from below. It was coming from outside. They do provide earplugs however, I can’t wear those because of the ringing in my ears. If I put those in, then the ringing in my ears is constant and extremely loud. Staff was friendly and was able to do a quick check-in and an early check-in. If it wasn’t for the noise and the tiny shower, I would’ve given it a five star.

Our first time staying and we may not stay again. No view at all from our room but the ad did not say it was obstructed. Ad should state that. Also the doors are super loud so we got woken up a lot sooner than we wanted (6am) on a Saturday morning. Room had a strange layout but that’s not horrible. No view and loud mornings were the worst conplaints. We also weren’t allowed early check in (even half hour!). But staff was amazing and nice and accommodating! Location is top notch.

The view from our room was stunning! The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we've had in a long time. Underground parking was nice (and fair at $18/day), however there are limited spots, so plan accordingly. The property was very close to tons of restaurants, shops and museums. Our balcony was a great spot to wind down at the end of the day or enjoy first thing in the morning. Some people say the hotel is dated, but I'd say it's "kitschy", cute, and cozy. All the amenities are still in good shape, nothing is worn out. The front desk staff was wonderful and friendly! In our experience, the only negatives of this place was a slow elevator and the limited parking spots.

Brewster Mountain Lodge does not disclose anywhere that there is no a/c in the guest rooms. The hallways and common areas were cool and we were told we could open our windows and balcony door and use the provided fans to cool the room😳. When I stated that this info should be disclosed on info concerning the hotel, I was told “it doesn’t say we do have a/c.” 😳

Our stay at Brewster Mountain Lodge was magical! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! We had some issues with our reservations- our fault not theirs- and they went above and beyond to help us resolve it! The location was perfect and was within walking distance to anything we needed! The room was perfect and the balcony was our favorite place to sit in the evenings and watch the sun set and the people walking below. We loved staying here!

This is our 4th visit to Brewster Mountain lodge. I honestly wouldnt want to stay anywhere else in Banff. Its quite a small quaint place so you get to know the staff and the front desk and they always greet you with a smile and helpful information.

The front desk staff were exceptional! Super friendly and so very helpful with information on the area. The room was very clean and well kept. The location was PERFECT. Great for walking around town. Our only issue was with the breakfast staff. We arrived 3 minutes early and the lady erupted at us, forced us to leave and locked the door. So we just went someplace else for coffee and a bite.

Wonderful property, gorgeous room, well located in center of town (one block from bus to ski areas). What truly made this stay stand out was the staff. Every request or question was received positively and they bent over backwards to make this a pleasant stay. Jack, specifically was unbelievable. From restaurant recommendations, ski tips and even getting me access to a microwave to reheat food, there wasn't anything I asked fro that he could not handle with a smile on his face. I will absolutely stay here again.

We had a pleasant stay at Brewster Mountain Lodge. The location is excellent — right in the heart of Banff, close to shops and restaurants. The best thing about Brewster Mountain Lodge is its location. It's right inside the city and is walking distance from the sights and sounds. The staff was wonderful. When you walk out the doors and looks on either side of the street, you see the mountain views that you live Banff for.

My room was a good size and comfortable. Very “Banff” with a lodge feel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the complimentary cookies. You cannot beat the location - one street off the Main Street and loads of great restaurants and shopping nearby. I also appreciated that the bus stop was close, as well. One star off because my non-smoking room smelled a bit like cigarettes in the bathroom, and the street outside is currently under renovation so was a bit noisy. Note: the hotel did make me aware of the construction just prior to my stay. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would return again!

Great property in the heart of Banff. Walking distance to great restaurants, bars, shopping, trails, and all the sights of Banff. It was clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The neighborhood gets a bit rowdy at night, which is fun but not a place for light sleepers.

The rooms are rustic, but very clean and quaint. The downside is that there is no air conditioning. The interior of the hotel is beautiful with the wood accents, and the breakfast nook is a great place to grab a bite to eat in the morning. Parking is limited, but can be reserved. The biggest downside is the insane prices of rooms, which is typical for Banff hotels scamming visitors. Even the parking was an additional $50 after paying $1100 for 2 nights in a standard room. Otherwise, great hotel and right in the heart of downtown Banff.

Brewsters is the best value hotel in Banff. Unmatched location near multiple restaurants, one block from Banff Avenue, and close to the Bow River trail. Underground parking is super convenient for those with rental cars.

Washer dryer did not work throughout our three day stay- very inconvenient. No one to help with bags - only 1 elevator. Scratchy poor quality towels. Breakfast was terrible - a few apples, but no other Fruit, no yogurt, no scrambled eggs, only hard boiled. Great location, easy to walk anywhere downtown Banff. Location is the only reason to stay at Brewster Mountain Lodge.

Very mixed feelings about the property. On the plus sides, its clean, the staff was great and its right in the middle of town. On the negative sides, the wifi was terrible, the breakfast bad as well and depending on the room it could be super loud. The first night we had a room that was so loud they had supplied ear plugs in the room. The second night we moved to a room with an inner courtyard which was amazing. If you need good wifi, dont stay here. In addition the breakfast nook as they call it was a room off the basement parking lot. Very weird to get there. It was really bad.
