Pool and deck are very dirty. There was frequent maintenance of pool and hot tub water but deck are was visibly dirty with green growth on one side of hot tub wall. Suite was spacious but some maintenance lacking- baseboard missing along bottom of stairs. Parking was difficult in evenings but always found a spot. Service was lovely everytime we called front desk. Kitchen had all cutlery and utensils. Coffee was awful but lots of places to try in town.

Room was spacious and clean. We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was good. As a person who works out nearly everyday, the gym is important to me, and this gym was poor and straight out of the 70’s. Neither treadmill worked, machines were from the 70’s or earlier. Only thing that helped is they did have some dumbbells, so I made it work.

The Rocky Mountain Resort was a good hotel. It’s a collection of buildings with units across 6 buildings. The rooms were a bit of a weird layout, and the outside of the buildings could really use some TLC, but it was a really good clean and safe hotel. They offer some cool extras like a tennis court, pickle ball court, pool, outdoor hot tub, indoor hot tub, and a shuttle service into Banff. We didn’t use any of them on our stay just because our room was across the street from the main building, and the shuttle didn’t fit our schedule, but they are there if people are interested.

Great location, very quiet. Perfect for a family. I really enjoyed the squash courts. The pool was a little cold, the outdoor hot tub wasn’t working. Other than that, great hotel!

The price is reasonable and the property is clean. One of the outlets in the kitchen did not function but there was another outlet to replace the initial one that did not work. There was coffee on site, sugar, creamer, pots, pans and cups to use. That made me feel like home. This property made it possible for me to celebrate my birthday in Banff. The hot pool indoors and the one outside were amazing. Wish there was also a sauna! Thank you for the hospitality.

I have never given a negative review, but someone needs to read this. Every point was brought up at the reception and silence fell. No reaction, staff is polite but have solution other than a stare and just taking notes. - You have to ask for towels and rooms cleaning. - Not enough wall plugs in our room. - Couch had an odor. - The carpet was dirty. - The Bathroom and our bed were the only things that were clean. - Yes, it was a renovated kitchen, but we had to scrape the dried food left from previous renters from the utensils, pots and dishes that we uses. - When we asked for our room to be cleaned early in the morning - they only acted upon it when we got back late afternoon and called them. At which point, a man, woman and a child came to clean. - We had a child running in the room on top of us early morning and late at nights. With no parental control. - I brought this all up at the attention of the receptionist very calmy of my disappointment and received no reaction. - The only reaction that we got was the fact that they showed up at our door to say that they had an extension plug and we would have to chare my credit card for a $20 deposit. ** I would recommend better service to those that book, plenty of options in that tourist town.

The cleanliness of our room wasn’t great. It was dusty, garbage from previous ppl was found in drawers, behind the curtains and under the pullout couch, shower had water stains on the door, the walk ways and parking were extremely slippery! Staff was great tho, knowledgeable, friendly. Food at the restaurant was expensive but decent.

Rooms had layers of dust with one that had a fake finger nail laying in it. Pillows were stained yellow with stained pillow cases. Mold or mildew growing on the ceiling in a water stain. They tried to move us to a different room but that one had dried bloody boogers on the wall. After sending an email with pictures to management, they moved us to another location.

Overall was a fine place to stay. Rooms were a little small so trying to set up a playpen in there was extremely difficult being that they leave you a little to no room to have it even right beside the bed. The property was a little worn and the pool area could have used a clean. Considering how expensive it was I expected a little better but overall it was fine for what we needed.

Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at hotel 10 min before check in time. I heard the front desk staff decide that we could have a room that someone else didn’t want, which should have been my first red flag. The condo room smelt like old smoke being covered up by potent cleaning detergent. The couch was extremely uncomfortable (we ended up using the pull out to lounge on). The kitchen faucet had soap scum caked on. The bathtub sealant had black spots on it. The bathroom wall had multiple drill marks/ unused screws in it. The baseboard heater was dirty and appeared broken with metal pieces protruding out. We attempted to call the front desk but the directions on the phone were either incorrect or the phone wasn’t working. We had higher expectations for this resort but were very disappointed.

This property is very run down and room was dirty with hair in the showers and food stuck on the kitchen dishes that were in the cupboard for use. Caulking in showers was brown and the bathrooms didn't even look cleaned. I would never stay here again.

We had car problems and checked in around midnight, we were exhausted and arrived to a room that was +26C / Insanely Hot and the room has NO air conditioning. They also have shuttles that take you into Banff where you’re dropped off and picked up at another Hotel in town. Well it’s a free-for-all upon getting picked up. I was the first person there at 6:36 PM waiting for the 7:10 PM pick up when everyone ran in front of me once the shuttle arrived and I was not able to get on the shuttle and had to take a taxi back to the Resort.

Really nice location on outskirts of Banff town. Amazing view of the mountains from our unit and saw deer around the property. Space was like a small apartment with multiple bedrooms and a good size kitchen. There is no AC so it does get a little stuffy on warm days. We opened windows but heard noise from the busy road as our unit was close to the main road.

Location is far outside village centre but transport provided by hotel van (forget uber it’s not available and for some reason public bus doesn’t stop at this property, very odd). We had cute loft apartment with full kitchen and it had the basics. Was clean had wood burning fireplace, forest outlook very quiet and beautiful. IGA in town for food Super cute village it’s like a post card

The rooms were terribly hot and you couldn’t turn the heat down. Fireplace tiles were cracked and the wood around them broken- not safe. Floor and radiator terribly noisy. The place was much more outdated than the pictures made it out to be.

Well, the room smelled like pure fish and mould. Bed was old and squeeky. We were on main floor 1502 and upstairs was so loud. Tv didnt work. The light in the bedroom burnt out. There was no place to get coffee, snacks. It was just not kid friendly. For the price we paid, it was solely based on location which was close and the shuttle was nice but not the most convenient because of the times, so we didnt get to use the shuttle. The staff was nice enough, we only reallt spoke with Vlad, who was very helpful. Many tours start very early, and i feel like the kitchen should be earlier or at least have some to go options like muffins or something for families. I had to wake up at 630 am to drive to tim hortons because our shuttle tour came to pick us up at 715. I dont know. I just wasnt impressed. Except with the pool and hot tub, those were GREAT. we didnt get to do any of the other amenities (squash, tennis etc...).

They checked us in a room with 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed but my reservation showed 2 queens. We had to complain and they made us go to the front desk again to show them our Expedia reservations. They also took the wrong deposit amount, which is their fault, and kept calling me to come back and pay extra and threatening us that we needed to come before midnight. The front desk person was rude. In summary, we had to go to the front desk 4 times due to their mistakes and they called us 4 times to ask for the extra deposit.

During my recent stay, I experienced improper billing and unprofessional conduct from your front desk staff. I was charged an additional $100 security deposit beyond the $100 disclosed at check-in. When I asked for clarification, Sabrina’s response was, “Haven’t you ever stayed at a hotel before?” — a condescending and offensive remark. I had just stayed at two 5-star Fairmont hotels in Banff and was never charged multiple deposits without clear explanation. This lack of transparency combined with Sabrina’s hostile tone is unacceptable. I also witnessed her speak aggressively to another guest, which suggests this behavior is not isolated. Such conduct requires immediate retraining, and if this is her standard approach, she should not be in a guest-facing role. The issue extended to another clerk (white, Australian accent). When I reported the vending machine was broken, she pointed vaguely and said, “try that.” When I asked if bottled water was sold elsewhere, she replied, “I don’t know. Ask the restaurant.” This dismissive attitude further reflects poor service standards. Beyond these interactions, no complimentary water was provided in the room, and the only vending machine was out of order. These are basic amenities any reputable hotel should ensure. I will be disputing the unauthorized charge with American Express. However, the unprofessional behavior of your staff and the lack of transparency must be addressed immediately.

Special shout out to Brian. He was doing some snow shovelling one morning recently and did an amazing job. He went above and beyond in the area we were parked and really put our experience over the top. He is an absolute gem of an employee; friendly and easy to talk to. In a resort town with so many options of places to stay, its employees like him that will keep us coming back. Thanks Brian, for the extra shovelling one morning. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. The only downfall was the size of the bed lol I swore I booked a king, but may have been wrong… Water pressure in the bathroom shower is perfect. I do with breakfast was included, oh well lol. They allow pets which is nice & my cat enjoyed his little road trip with us. We’ll definitely be back.

This is the second time I am staying at this property. I love the location of this resort though its 4 to 5 km away from banff city center its easily accessible, plenty of parking space and surrounded by nature. The rooms are spacious and lots of option based on the group of people. When ever i come to banff thia is the first hotel I look for.

The views around are amazing and it is set in a great location. Although we didn’t have a car the parking was convenient for those travelling by road. There is a free shuttle bus into town which we made the most of. Many of the tour companies will pick up from this resort, which was useful.

Sabihin mo sa review Our stay was amazing! Restaurant Server Dexie was very rude and wanted to argue with order mistake instead of solving the issue at hand. Overall just very unpleasant and impolite to my family of six. Cabin was great but restaurant service was a negative experience.

Great place to stay and reasonably priced! They offer free transportation into town. Right on bike path so you can ride bikes to town easily! Food was very good! Room was really nice!! I wish we could have stayed there longer!
