Stayed 1 night

Room was clean and staff were nice. The biggest issues were noise from the in-house nite club (which I had no idea about prior to booking) and no hot water at all. Staff did say turn on the tap for a few minutes but doing this for over 10 minutes did not help at all. Feel the water boiler was broken down but no one had any information.

Put in small box room , mattress not fit for purpose and very dark and dismal. Did not realise night club was literally on the main floor so no sleep was had, even being on 3rd floor. When finished noise outside from the people visiting the club could be heard for quite a while, then bottles being emptied into bins seemed to go on for ages. Went away to relax for a few days, didn’t happen.

I don’t think enough is made of the fact this hotel is a nightclub. Came as quite the surprise when I came back and it was opening quite how popular it was as a club and how incredibly loud. The noise you cannot sleep through if you are on that side of the hotel which I was . The staff didn’t hesitate to move me the next day when asked and the other side of the hotel is still loud but you can sleep through it. It’s a great hotel and I would reccomend it For people who are actually going out and coming back late enough it’s not a problem. Clean hotel and comfy, nice bathroom. Modern rooms. Definitely avoid for family holidays, better for younger people who can take advantage of the club, I gave it a go but was a little over the age demographic it seemed. The whole thing amused me quite frankly, the novelty of having your ID checked on the door to go to bed. Also the funny looks you get walking into what looks like a club with a kfc in hand. I wouldn’t stay again and I doubt they get much return custom which is ashame As it’s actually a nice hotel
