Super-helpful staff. Gave us a hand with our suitcases (there are five steps to get down to the elevator landing), always friendly. The cafe served excellent meals with outstanding service. Darkey Kelly's pub was a fun and lively place to have a drink and listen to local musicians. Great location on the edge of Temple Bar--we walked to all the sights in town! Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

Lots of fascinating history here. A short walk to Dublin Castle and Dublin Cathedral. The hotel is old but refurbished and the rooms are spacious; there is an elevator, but there are a lot of stairs. The pub, Darkey Kelly's is extremely popular with the locals, so it's tough to get a seat.

Very good place to stay at. Comfortable room and the pub that is connected to the hotel had fantastic food and was not overpriced. The only knock would be that the local parking garage that they have a deal with is BEYOND SMALL AND TIGHT to park your car in. We rented a small two-seater VW car and I could barely get the car into the garage and parked and then had to practically crawl out the window of the car. It's not their garage but it is the one they recommend and have a price deal with. Overall we liked the hotel very much and the staff were great too.

Loved thenightly music, however it was so packed couldnt get sesred until late 9:30 pm. No option to make reservations. Won't stay again since that was what attracted us to this hotel.

We had a nice stay. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. The front desk workers were all super nice and super helpful. The parking was a bit crazy. It is a block or two away in an unrelated parking garage. The parking spaces could not be tighter if they tried. It was also very expensive. But all in all our stay was nice.

I stayed here for two nights and was very pleased. Located centrally and very clean with everything you would need. The staff is amazing! Very friendly and goes above and beyond to accommodate your wishes. You can get fairly cheap and good breakfast at the Copper Alley Bistro. My room was looking out to Christ Church cathedral and I had zero noise from the streets or the pub below. Highly recommend!

Fabulous hotel! The staff was helpful and truly wanted me to have a positive experience. Room was clean and cozy. Location was perfect...not too far from Temple Bar but not in the midst of the party atmosphere...walking distance to DART and bus stops.

Used this site for 3 days prior to a tour and a day after so we could also check out sites of Dublin... perfect location with short walks to many attractions. Older hotel, but clean, well maintained and our beds were very comfy.

This would have been a better rating if I didn't pay over $400 per night. It is a clean place with large rooms and friendly staff but two major issues. The mattress must be 25 years old, not comfortable at all. Time to update guys! Also, people should be aware there is a very loud night club next door with music blaring until midnight, so if you expect to go to sleep early this isn't the place for you. a little pricey for a good but not great hotel.

We had a problem with the water pressure on the shower. We reported this to reception and they immediately apologised and offered us a change of room. No further problems. Then at checkout, the manager apologised again and, to compensate for any inconvenience, gave us vouchers for two free meals in Copper Alley restaurant. Excellent customer service. This hotel is in a convenient location for a short visit to Dublin - Temple Bar etc are around the corner and, in our case, Vicar Street is 10 minutes walk away. Plus the hotel includes the excellent Darkey Kelly’s Bar.

We had a great stay at the Harding hotel, the staff were lovely, room was spacious and well equipped. Comfortable beds and it was quiet. I slept like I was at home. It's a gem of a hotel. We will be back.

Great location, friendly staff, large comfy room, fantastic bar and restaurant 😀 The only thing that let it down is the shower. There is no water pressure when you want hot water and the water was barely hot enough, its fine in the wash basin but the shower is not fit for purpose.

This is an amazing value hotel. Very well priced for what you get, and less than a 15 minute walk to just about everything you’d want to see in Dublin. The hotel lobby connects to Darkey Kelly’s pub (nightly trad Irish music!) and the Copper Alley bistro, both of which are great. The staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms are a little bit old and out of date, with older furniture. This didn’t matter to me because this was more of a place for us to sleep at night and enjoy Dublin during the day. Our room’s window opened to the courtyard above the back patio of dark Kelly’s, so sometimes got a little loud at night (not a big deal). When you book, request a room that does not look over the courtyard. Overall, this was an amazing value and location. I would stay there again.

The folks at Harding Hotel were fantastic from the moment we walked into the door until the moment we left (in a taxi they found for us on a very busy travel day). Every person we interacted with was helpful and kind. The room was pleasant and clean, and the attached restaurant served us a great breakfast in minutes flat so that we could rush to catch our flight. The location is great - close to the Christ Church Cathedral and a short walk from St. Patrick's - and we enjoyed walking through the Temple Bar area in the evening to find food and drinks. Despite the (moderately) expensive price, we would definitely stay here again.

The Harding Hotel rooms are dated and lack charm. The bed was very uncomfortable. There was a tiny 1 inch ledge into the bathroom which, even with a light bar (which was too bright while sleeping) made us trip and stub our toe many times. The room was hot with no way to change the heat and the windows did not open. We were told we should park in Q Park at Christ Church, but when we went to leave, this garage would NOT take American credit cards without a pin. We tried 3 different credit cards. It also wouldn’t take cash. When I called the hotel for guidance so we could get out of the hotel, the first woman I spoke to was sympathetic and tried to help, but she then passed me to her supervisor who was very rude and was more interested in not taking the blame for us parking there than actually helping us get out of the garage. After 20 minutes, my husband was able to show a kind man our issue and he paid with his credit card and we gave him cash. The hotel is located within good walking range from everything in Dublin, but I wouldn’t stay there again!

We have stayed here before and we were looking forward to staying there again. The street immediately in front of the hotel is jammed with one way traffic. No notification or directions on how to get to the drop of spot. Terrible traffic pattern to deal with. We had to drop off some of our party while we looked for a parking place. When they mentioned about the difficulties getting to the hotel the desk clerk told us if we were more patient she would have told us where to park. The rooms we got were tiny....not at all like the ones we had on our last visit. When I raised the issue her response was silence. Guess we weren't patient enough to rate better rooms and more courteous treatment.

I forgot my watch in the room and they mailed it back to me in Canada, it arrived before I did! A bit of confusion around booking my taxi to the airport but they called a new cab and I made it on time.

If you are driving, it's terrible trying to find it. Google Maps sends you to the wrong place. The rooms are ok but not great. The staff is great and super helpful. If I could give 6 stars for just the staff I would.

This is an amazing value hotel. Very well priced for what you get, and less than a 15 minute walk to just about everything you’d want to see in Dublin. The hotel lobby connects to Darkey Kelly’s pub (nightly trad Irish music!) and the Copper Alley bistro, both of which are great. The staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms are a little bit old and out of date, with older furniture. This didn’t matter to me because this was more of a place for us to sleep at night and enjoy Dublin during the day. Our room’s window opened to the courtyard above the back patio of dark Kelly’s, so sometimes got a little loud at night (not a big deal). When you book, request a room that does not look over the courtyard. Overall, this was an amazing value and location. I would stay there again.

Bor ofte på Harding, under mine Dublinbesøg. Hoteller ligge perfekt, med Temple bar lige om hjørnet,og Guinness, Teeling og centrum.i gå afstand fra hotellet. Det ligger i en stille gade, og er et superrent sted, har lidt ældre med funktionelle badeværelser, masser af håndklæder og toiletartikler, desuden er der køleskab, værdiboks og aircondition. Personalet er herlige, glade og smilende og yderst hjælpsomme med alt, hvad man vil hjælpes med. I stueplan er der Pubben Darkey Kelly, med live musik dagligt, og også med spisning, og så er en pint Guinnes 3 EUR billigere her, end nede i Temple Bar området. Desuden ligger Bistroen til den anden side, her indtager man sin morgenmad, men de har også både lunch og Diner, og her er næsten altid god plads, og maden er fortrinlig.

We love staying at the Harding while in Dublin. Staff are great, friendly, helpful & knowledgeable of the area. Location is fantastic. Across from Christchurch Cathedral, 5 min walk to Luas, bus stops nearby, easy to get to Airport via bus or Uber(25-30 Euro). We love Copper Alley, restaurant attached to hotel. Darkee Kelly’s pub is also attached to hotel - great staff, live music. Food, perfectly poured Guinness and good whiskey selection.

Perfect location, safe area as a solo traveller, quiet and clean room. Would give it a five but the breakfast was not great, almost raw black and white pudding and cold grilled tomato. Would recommend get a room without breakfast and eat breakfast elsewhere.

This is the hotel to stay at. It’s connected to a delicious bistro and one of the best pubs in Dublin. The hotel is located very centrally to everything you could want to see in Dublin! I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay.

Really a near-perfect place to stay in Dublin's center. Conveniently situated close to Temple Bar (a five-minute walk), Dublin Castle and much more, but far enough from the madding crowds to be peaceful at night. The rooms are comfortable (there's an elevator, too), the staff friendly, and the in house restaurant (the Copper Pot) was quite good for breakfast. Major bonus points for the attached pub, Darkey Kelly's is a fine example, and resident musicians The Dublin Bards (they play several nights a week) are tremendous. Great place to stay.

Super cute historic hotel in an A+ location. Easily walk to Temple Bar, churches, parks, historical sites, pretty much everything you want to see in Dublin. As with most historic properties, rooms are small. My only real complaint is the lack of hot water/water pressure. If you are an American used to taking a hot shower with lots of water, you're going to feel like you're camping - the hottest the water will go is nowhere near the temp at which I shower at home. Staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating and room was immaculately clean.

This hotel is not well kept. There was significant mold in my bathroom. The toilet would not flush and the water pressure was nonexistent. The expensive price per night is not worth the low quality.

Wonderful hotel, steeped in history, and a perfect location for all the attractions located in the area. The beds were comfortable, and the location has air conditioning (which came in handy during our stay). The pub connected had excellent food, music, and drinks. The staff at both locations were great! Would stay here again next time in Dublin.
