The only thing I would add would be offering parking directions once the room is booked. I needed to find a space to temporarily park my car while going into the hotel to get directions on where to park.

The hotel location is excellent, perfect for a day/night around Dublin. Very easy to walk everywhere from the hotel. We specifically booked here as it had a reduced rate at a nearby carpark.... we never found the carpark and ended up in another carpark which was $35 for 24 hours!! There is no aircon and the rooms were very warm, but there are fans in there. It is on a busy street, be prepared for sirens, street noise and constant traffic through the night (over a knocking manhole cover). Earplugs are supplied though, which were needed.

Overpriced and not convenient at all. No elevator and extremely steep stairs. The rooms are so small it’s hard to fathom how they think more than one person can fit in there. The shower is designed to accommodate a child at best. This is before you address the noise and price. Don’t stay here.

Overall, we had a great experience. The only thing I didn't give 5 stars was because they didn't offer parking garage. Since we had a flight delayed, we arrived to the hotel around 3 am so we had to drive around the city to find an open garage to then have to carry them through the streets.

Location was in the middle of Temple Bar. Bar on 1st floor of hotel was extremely loud with music, singing patrons, & lots of screaming, partying folks. It was challenging sleeping here.

A great hotel to stay in during a visit to Dublin. Ours was a clean and comfortable room with a big bathroom and tea/coffee making facilites. We kept our windows open all night and it didn't find it too noisy to sleep. Discounted parking close by, a short walk from the Temple Bar and river, and not too far to walk to other tourist attractions including the Guinness Storehouse experience. The Trinity Bar next to the hotel serves wonderful, great value food - we had both an evening meal and breakfast there. We would definitely recommend and revisit.

Hotel was fine. The room was hot but a small fan was available. Price a bit steep for what you get. I will probably stay in a different part of Dublin next time but not the hotels fault. This is a very touristy, dirty area.

Les plus: Hotel central, proche des pubs, situation idéale pour visiter le centre ville. Les moins: -Vetuste, pas de climatisation ou de ventilateur ce qui est un problème quand les pubs ferment a 01h30 et que les fêtards quittent les lieux vers 03h ( obligé d'avoir la fenêtre ouverte et donc le bruit qui va avec) -Les portent sont équipées de fermetures automatiques surpuisssantes qui les font claquer et ce a toutes heures ( jours et nuits ). -Les cloisons sont tellement fines que vous êtes au courrant de ce qui se passe chez les voisins ( télévision, discution, coït etc ) ce qui fait trembler ces dernières. -pas de voilage ce qui fait un vis a vis direct avec les fenetres d en face -Un avantage proposé par l'hôtel, un ticket de remboursement partiel de parking ( qui nest pas le leur ), de 19e remis a votre arrivée. Ticket valable que sur une nuit et périmé si vous restez plusieurs jours sur place sans deplacer votre vehicule ( ceci n'était pas précisé lors de notre arrivée et l'hôtel savait que nous restions 2 jours avec vehicule).

Loved the location but no air conditioning and it was VERY LOUD. right on the Main Street in town and car/trucks don’t stop. Street sweepers at 4 am and you have to have windows open if you want any air. Won’t stay here because of that.

The room was very tight…. Hardly space to walk around and tiny shower…. Not a major problem however. A more difficult issue was the terrible smell in the room, very unreasonable. I likely would look to stay elsewhere in the future because of that alone.

The receptionist was very kind and did as much as she could but the room was dirty, hadn't been cleaned after previous occupants, carpet stained and torn and tye room smelt musty. There are better hotels for the same price within short walking distance

Good location, that’s about it. Toilet hardly flushes, shower doesn’t drain so you shower in a 6 inches puddle of water in the bathtub. Towels and shower curtain visibly dirty with unknown black and yellow stains. Very badly soundproofed so you can hear everyone talking/walking in the hallway and on the streets. We knew we would hear the street noises since it’s in middle of temple bar so that was not a surprise. It’s the worst hotel we stayed in during our Ireland trip and still one of the priciest.

Citi Hotel is in an excellent location for visiting Dublin. Within walking distance of Temple Bar, St Patrick's, Trinity college, and public transportation. The hotel is a small boutique hotel with character. Our room was on the 3rd floor with no view. The 2 windows were small & close to the ceiling with a view of the top of a tower. The room was small with a full size bed which was comfortable. The shower was great- strong water pressure and plenty of hot water. Only soap was provided along with towels. Bring shampoo & conditioner or be prepare to buy them. There was a kettle for boiling water. Tea & instant coffee was provided. It was a nice amenity to start our day. Staff were always friendly & helpful. Would stay again but upgrade to a better room.

We liked the historic effects of the hotel. It was more interesting to stay in a small historic hotel vs. staying at a big box hotel chain. The location was great for getting around town and the rooms were neat and clean. There were some things that could have been updated/fixed (light fixtures, window framing paint, etc). All in all, it was a nice stay and having a full pub/restaurant attached was great too. Thanks.

Nice people but location is loud. Windows are old so they don’t keep out noise. The windows let in too much light at night. I could barely squeeze into the shower. Smallest room I have ever seen. Door almost bangs into the bed. And finally the “double” bed was two baby beds next to each other with gap in middle. I just think room 301 sucks because next door the room was much bigger and nicer. But location is perfect.

On our first trip to Dublin we wanted to stay close to the action, but not too close. Little did we know this property was steps from Temple Bar, and for most of our stay the sounds of the neighborhood went on last 2am. The third floor room was nice, but the shower was comically small, maybe 2 feet square in the corner. And while one of these showers is pictured online, it wasn’t what I expected. A small fan was provided due to lack of A/C, but it was so humid in the room, it didn’t help. The hallway was 10° cooler. The staff was excellent. Friendly pub just downstairs, as well.

Front desk workers were great. Fast easy check in. Bar attached to hotel was open early and a good place to hang out. Room is above a bar so you had noise from that which is expected. I would stay there again solely on location.

It was amazing! You could not ask for a better location, you step out the doors of the hotel and you are right in the excitement of the center city. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We were able to leave our bags while walking the city before our flight.

My stay at the Citi Hotel in Dublin was fantastic -- very friendly and helpful staff that accommodated my early check in request, very nice and comfortable room right in the Temple Bar area conveniently located near everything!

I stayed in 5 different places in 7 days; Dublin Citi Hotel was by far my favorite! Lovely place, and service was top notch; the man from Bolivia was so kind and engaging, and seemed truly interested in talking to the customers!

This is an older boutique hotel, the rooms are dated but clean and functional. We were first assigned a room that had the tiniest shower and I was unable to even get into it. Great location but since the restaurant is on the 1st floor the noise is really bad even where I was staying on 4th floor. I had a hard time falling asleep. The noise goes down after 2pm but the trash truck passed by every day so noisy too It’s a great hotel and great location

Great historical building in the heart of the city. Perfect location for walking and exploring Dublin. Very close to where buses pick up and drop off for day trips. Lively restaurant/pub in the lower level. Can be loud at night but we got used to it. Great place to stay!

The hotel location is excellent, perfect for a day/night around Dublin. Very easy to walk everywhere from the hotel. We specifically booked here as it had a reduced rate at a nearby carpark.... we never found the carpark and ended up in another carpark which was $35 for 24 hours!! There is no aircon and the rooms were very warm, but there are fans in there. It is on a busy street, be prepared for sirens, street noise and constant traffic through the night (over a knocking manhole cover). Earplugs are supplied though, which were needed.

Citi Hotel is in an excellent location for visiting Dublin. Within walking distance of Temple Bar, St Patrick's, Trinity college, and public transportation. The hotel is a small boutique hotel with character. Our room was on the 3rd floor with no view. The 2 windows were small & close to the ceiling with a view of the top of a tower. The room was small with a full size bed which was comfortable. The shower was great- strong water pressure and plenty of hot water. Only soap was provided along with towels. Bring shampoo & conditioner or be prepare to buy them. There was a kettle for boiling water. Tea & instant coffee was provided. It was a nice amenity to start our day. Staff were always friendly & helpful. Would stay again but upgrade to a better room.

Loved the location but no air conditioning and it was VERY LOUD. right on the Main Street in town and car/trucks don’t stop. Street sweepers at 4 am and you have to have windows open if you want any air. Won’t stay here because of that.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It was very convenient for getting around and central to everything. The room was very nice. The bar/restaurant right next door was nice to grab breakfast and later grab drinks. I highly recommend this hotel.

it's run-down and incredibly noisy. no air conditioning so the only way to cool it is to open the window which means you cannot sleep until the roar from outside parties and live music subsides. the breakfast appeared pre-made and was not worth eating.

The hotel is at the heart of Temple Bar. It's close to the university and the Book of Kells, a well as being along the road from the theatre and a few minutes' walk from the river. Location-wise it is great. The room was basic - the cupboard and drawers weren't exactly modern, but they did the job for one night. We were on the third floor and it was quite noisy outside, as you would expect it to be in Temple Bar. But the hotel provided ear plugs - not that I used them as I collapsed into bed at the end of a great day and fell asleep. Continental breakfast was quite satisfactory and a good deal at 8.50 Euros. If youu're looking for a reasonably-priced hotel at the heart of Temple Bar, Citi Hotel is definitely worth considering.

Although our room was small, it was comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the restaurant had amazing food (especially the steak on a stone!!!) and Ciara was fabulous!!! Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to go back there soon!

Gives “authentic Dublin” vibes vs a big “known” hotel - we visited from Texas so I was thrown off that there was no AC, but we opened the windows at night and the temp was perfect. Food at the restaurant down stairs was good, friendly staff GREAT LOCATION
