The Hershey Cabin is delightful. The owners have thoughtfully created a very welcoming space.We had everything we needed from soft plush towels, a welcoming fireplace, comfortable bed "in the trees", a well equiped kitchen, and a small wrap around deck that catches the afternoon sun. The perfect spot to read and enjoy the sound of wind in the trees. We had one unexpected need, and the owner was available with the right solution! Thank you!
The Hershey Cabin is delightful. The owners have thoughtfully created a very welcoming space.We had everything we needed from soft plush towels, a welcoming fireplace, comfortable bed "in the trees", a well equiped kitchen, and a small wrap around deck that catches the afternoon sun. The perfect spot to read and enjoy the sound of wind in the trees. We had one unexpected need, and the owner was available with the right solution! Thank you!

If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, cozy getaway, this is your place! This cabin is immaculate and has everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked with whatever cookware, utensils, etc... that you may need to cook a meal. The cupboard shelves are labeled so there is no guesswork about where things belong. There are tasteful instructions on how to light the fireplace, use Alexa, etc....Communication with the owner is prompt, polite, and courteous. They even provide an Adventure Pass to put in your car if you want to take some local hikes. The bed is super comfy, and there are two armoires to store your clothes in. The balcony outside the bedroom wraps halfway around the cabin and is perfect for morning coffee and meal times. There are beautiful pine trees that provide dappled light on areas of the deck, and there is a small umbrella for more shade if needed. The cabin is historic and has a cool book about the refurbishment of this old hunter's lodge. Parking is a little tight, as the road has a hairpin turn. We found it easier to go straight up the road, turn around, and come back to the parking spot and park facing towards the main road. You can fit a truck there, but it would be tight. We took our Toyota Camry and there was plenty of room. You can hear traffic on the road below, but it's not bad. If you keep the windows closed at night, you can hardly hear the cars traveling the road. It is a peaceful, cozy cabin and we highly recommend it.

This beautifully restored cabin for two was state of the art! Warm & tasteful furnishings, comfy bed (could have used 2 extra pillows & luggage rack) loved the smart TV and variety of games. Kitchen had nearly everything we needed (except sharp knives, measuring cup & spoons). No outdoor BBQ, but wrap around deck was great, only disturbed by loud music from red house in back). Not much room for belongings in the bathroom, but the vanity area more than made up for it! Great location, close to Village & market. Thanks for having the National Forest Adventure Pass handy for parking at the Heaps Peak Arboretum hike. Riding the Queen was a must! Wine tasting in Crestline by appointment at Sycamore Ranch was wonderful. Weather was perfect, in the 70's, not crowded after Labor Day, people so friendly. Really relaxed and unwound during our 6 days at the Hershey cabin. Would love to come back!

Everything supplied and in the home was first class, and so beautiful. Great instructions on using everything, and owner response to questions was quick. It is just a beautifully decorated home with great balconies. It also has a great central A/C.

This immaculate, cozy, beautiful cabin is more house from the outside but cabin on the inside. That said, I've never stayed in a cabin with a kitchen so well equipped and every detail meticulously addressed. Instructions for all aspects of your stay are not only in the initial email instructions, they're also in the cabin. Plenty of resources to find activities in the area and a wonderful book on both the history of the area and on the massive refurbishment of the cabin. The host literally called me a day after my stay to make sure everything was great. He clearly cares deeply about not only the property but the satisfaction of those who stay there. I could not recommend this property more highly!

This cabin is amazing! The reservation process, host communication, location, parking, access, interior design & decoration, amenities, and kitchen equipment were excellent. The organization of the interior space, labels and simple instructions near each amenity made use quick and easy. The high quality linens, fireplace, scenic balcony, entertainment & wifi, and hiking trails pass exceeded our expectations. This is the perfect mountain cabin for a getaway. Thank You!

The cabin is so cozy! Kitchen has everything a guest could need. Paul was a great host. When the guests who stayed there before us notified him that the AC wasn't working. Paul called us to let us know before we arrived. He let us know that he had already called the AC repair guys. When we arrived, they were there working on it. The repairs were quickly taken care of, and it worked perfectly our entire stay. I absolutely loved the view from bed each morning. I didn't want to get out of bed! We loved the labels all over the cabin. So helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Hershey Cabin. It was adorable, cozy and immaculate. They had every amenity that you could possibly need from coffee to nice towels to beautiful dishes and glassware and a dishwasher, washer and dryer and fireplace. We would definitely like to stay again.

The Hershey Cabin was perfectly cozy, immaculate, decorated to match the mountain living, and sits in a perfect location.. we enjoyed the coziness of the cabin, enjoyed playing cards in the crisp outdoors on the patio. We also went on a beautiful hike and explored an off the beaten path thrift store. Perfect trip and can't wait to return!

Me and my husband were so pleased with our stay at the Hersey Cabin. It was as they say, immaculate. It was cozy and beautifully decorated. The owners thought of everything when it came to a guests stay at the cabin. Everything is neatly labeled and easy to find. There are two binders of information on hiking trails, restaurants and things to do near and around Arrowhead Lake. The location is absolutely beautiful and so quiet. We loved our stay there and will be going back.

Overall we loved this property. The cabin is very classic yet updated and well appointed. It's a great little escape from the hectic world we live in. All of the woodwork makes you feel like you are in a cabin in the woods, which you are so it's perfect. :-) The kitchen and bath were well equipped. The living room was cozy and comfy. The bedroom was nice and looking through the windows you felt you were in a treehouse up in the trees. The room did get a little bright in the morning for my wife as she must have thin eyelids. :-) I didn't mind. They do call that out in the listing and told us to bring eye coverings if we were bothered by morning light. The surrounding areas is very quite and peaceful. We saw a coyote wander through the property on the first night and what I believe was a small bobcat on the second night. Nature at it's finest. :-) The cabin is fairly close to the main village, maybe 1.5 miles or so, but it's not what I would call walking distance because of the steep slopes and narrow roads. Driving in Lake Arrowhead is interesting because the roads are pretty narrow with lots of hairpin turns and blind intersections. I cannot image driving around here in the winter with snow on the ground, but I can imagine it is beautiful. To summarize, the cabin is great. The owners are great. The location is great. Lake Arrowhead is great. The roads are paved. :-)

We came for a 3 day getaway and a wedding. It is gorgeous cabin that is a jewel in the mountains. When looking out the windows, it feels like you are in a cozy treehouse. It is decorated beautifully and has every amenity you could possibly want or need.

Loved the cabin. Spent most of weekend hanging out and playing games around the fireplace. Very cozy cabin. Perfect size for a couple. Close to everything. Was a chilly weekend in Arrowhead, but the cabin was very warm. Loved the heated mattress. Will be back.

This charming and cozy cabin provided the perfect location for our getaway to Arrowhead. It was like sleeping in a tree house. The cabin is meticulously maintained and is a five minute drive to the village. Everything two people need for a relaxing getaway.

I would say it is about 650 - 700 sq feet cabin with the styling of a traditional old cabin but renovated to utilize every space like a NYC apartment. Everything is labeled, great view from the bedroom window, and while there is a road below, the traffic on that road is super minimal so it is really quiet. I enjoyed sitting in the bed watching the fog roll in on a rainy night through two bedroom windows. The living space outside of the bedroom provided all the comfort of a private living space while the bedroom itself, especially with the door closed felt like I was in a small tiny cabin in the remote woods which was great.Lake Arrowhead Village is about 5 mins away and it has Stater Bros, Jersey Mike, and etc so no need to stock up before driving up.

Cabin was quaint and beautiful. Very nicely furnished. Very comfortable! Streaming TV and internet worked very well. We had a great time exploring the area around Arrowhead Lake and also other nearby lakes. We had a wonderful week!

This is the BEST VRBO experience we have ever had. The attention to detail and communication with the host was terrific. The cabin is beautiful and so warm and inviting. Waking up among the trees makes you feel like you are in a tree house. It is luxurious in every way! The storied history makes it so much fun and the hosts have documented it beautifully.

Very quite, cozy and beautifully remodeled cabin for a couple to stay over a romantic weekend. Nicely furnished with full kitchen amenities. The host was very polite and professional to follow-up with our inquiries. We hope to visit the Hershey Cabin again when we get a chance. This immaculate, cozy, beautiful cabin is more house from the outside but cabin on the inside. That said, I've never stayed in a cabin with a kitchen so well equipped and every detail meticulously addressed. Instructions for all aspects of your stay are not only in the initial email instructions, they're also in the cabin. Plenty of resources to find activities in the area and a wonderful book on both the history of the area and on the massive refurbishment of the cabin. The host literally called me a day after my stay to make sure everything was great. He clearly cares deeply about not only the property but the satisfaction of those who stay there. I could not recommend this property more highly!

The cabin is so cozy! Kitchen has everything a guest could need. Paul was a great host. When the guests who stayed there before us notified him that the AC wasn't working. Paul called us to let us know before we arrived. He let us know that he had already called the AC repair guys. When we arrived, they were there working on it. The repairs were quickly taken care of, and it worked perfectly our entire stay. I absolutely loved the view from bed each morning. I didn't want to get out of bed! We loved the labels all over the cabin. So helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

Hershey Cabin did not disappoint. The host was very thorough and our check-in went smoothly. Upon entering every detail was thought of. We enjoyed the sanctuary of this little gem and found it to be perfectly situated for privacy while being just a hop skip away from local activities. The cabin itself was simply impeccable. Beautifully decorated and with every creature comfort you can possibly imagine. If you are looking for the perfect escape, plan on incorporating Hershey cabin into a must do destination. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming cabin in Lake Arrowhead. The place was immaculate - your cleaning crew is to be commended. The pictures hardly do the place justice. It is is so well appointed and charmingly decorated. The experience with the host was above and beyond. They were very communicative and provided everything one could want. They even managed to allow us an early check-in that was greatly appreciated. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and will be back. Just beautiful!

This property has been lovingly restored. They tell the history of the Lake Arrowhead area and the restoration of their cabin, complete with photos. The restoration was very thoughtfully done. The cabin includes all of the essential for a very comfortable stay (e.g., kitchen stocked with dishes and cooking basics, small dishwasher, washer dryer, gas fireplace to ensure cozy days in winter, etc.). Location is in easy proximity to grocery and restaurants.

The Hershey Cabin is delightful. The owners have thoughtfully created a very welcoming space.We had everything we needed from soft plush towels, a welcoming fireplace, comfortable bed "in the trees", a well equiped kitchen, and a small wrap around deck that catches the afternoon sun. The perfect spot to read and enjoy the sound of wind in the trees. We had one unexpected need, and the owner was available with the right solution! Thank you!

If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, cozy getaway, this is your place! This cabin is immaculate and has everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked with whatever cookware, utensils, etc... that you may need to cook a meal. The cupboard shelves are labeled so there is no guesswork about where things belong. There are tasteful instructions on how to light the fireplace, use Alexa, etc....Communication with the owner is prompt, polite, and courteous. They even provide an Adventure Pass to put in your car if you want to take some local hikes. The bed is super comfy, and there are two armoires to store your clothes in. The balcony outside the bedroom wraps halfway around the cabin and is perfect for morning coffee and meal times. There are beautiful pine trees that provide dappled light on areas of the deck, and there is a small umbrella for more shade if needed. The cabin is historic and has a cool book about the refurbishment of this old hunter's lodge. Parking is a little tight, as the road has a hairpin turn. We found it easier to go straight up the road, turn around, and come back to the parking spot and park facing towards the main road. You can fit a truck there, but it would be tight. We took our Toyota Camry and there was plenty of room. You can hear traffic on the road below, but it's not bad. If you keep the windows closed at night, you can hardly hear the cars traveling the road. It is a peaceful, cozy cabin and we highly recommend it.

Immaculate stylish cabin and wonderful getaway. However, no auto drip coffee maker made mornings a little more challenging as we are not big fans of Keurig (only 4 for the weekend?). Speaking of rationing, 4 tiny bite sized chocolates seemed underwhelming for an Historic Hersheys cabin. The excessive rules and stickers on everything is a bit OCD but understand the reasoning. The parking spot is great, but since it's on a one way street you have to either do a 10 point turn around or park uphill and backup 30 yards on a narrow road-both options not easy with my 4x4 truck. Last but not least, the neighbor across the street cranks their music at 2am just enough to wake you up and make it hard to fall back asleep. All in all, great but could have been amazing!

The Hershey Home was absolutely stunning! It was warm, cozy, and romantic. It was very clean, well stocked with kitchenware, and spices. Instructions we received before trip were clear and concise. There was a notebook with instructions, suggested restaurants, and activities. Additionally, there was a book with pictures of the refurbishing of the original Hershey Cabin from 1935. Me and my husband were so pleased with our stay at the Hersey Cabin. It was as they say, immaculate. It was cozy and beautifully decorated. The owners thought of everything when it came to a guests stay at the cabin. Everything is neatly labeled and easy to find. There are two binders of information on hiking trails, restaurants and things to do near and around Arrowhead Lake. The location is absolutely beautiful and so quiet. We loved our stay there and will be going back.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming little cabin in Arrowhead. It was perfect—cozy, peaceful, and felt almost like staying in a treehouse. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and we really appreciated the care that went into the space.We enjoyed our time so much and only wish we could have stayed longer. The walks and local suggestions the host left in the cabin were a great touch and made the stay even more special. We would definitely recommend it! Thank you for a beautiful and memorable mini vacation!

It's all true. All the reviews. Paul and Janice have thought of everything and include written details for any questions. A quiet neighborhood, even the squirrels kept to themselves. Julia did excellent in prepping for our stay. We look forward to many more visits here, and will recommend to our friends. Thank you!

Dream cabin!! Super cozy and thought through! Great design and very comfortable bed. One of the best cabins we ever rented!!! 10 stars! Thank you Paul we are definitely coming back!

Perfect place for single travelers too. Property was very clean and extremely organized with helpful info on where things were located. The bedroom is great. Bed is top notch and because of the big windows you feel like you are sleeping in a fantastic tree house. Truly a gem property managed by great people.
