Love the vintage vibe & decor of this hotel. Breakfast was amazing, staff very friendly. Toiletries provided. Only downside is there is no elevator & our room was on 3rd level. The owner kindly helped with luggage but for checkout we were on our own.

The staff was gracious, very friendly and gave excellent advice for dining options. We arrived early and were able to securely store our luggage before taking a walk and bus tour of Dublin before checking in. We will recommend Kilronan Guesthouse to friends.

Staff was very helpful. We arrived early and were able to stow our luggage while we toured. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable but temperatures were very warm. No way to cool them down- did not see a thermostat in the room. Breakfast was excellent

Quant hotel, convenient for exploring Dublin attractions. Our room was on the top floor (no elevator, but no problem), so be Europe-prepared with your choice of luggage and footwear! Breakfast was the best of any of the places we stayed in Ireland, but as others have noted, service was a bit slow. We were able to store our luggage after getting off a red eye flight, which was great.

Proprietor was excellent at communication. We were concerned since our flight from the US they came in early in the morning that we would not have a place to store our bags until check in and would have to take them with us everywhere, but they were kind enough to store them for us safely location was perfect to the tram system or within a 30 minute walk to all the great places in Dublin to see. Highly recommend.

This guesthouse had a stellar breakfast and my room was immaculately clean. My room was the size of a closet, but it was a very nice closet. The only recommendation would be that they should replace their staircase carpet soon because it was very worn. Staff was helpful and carried my heavy bag up and down the stairs for me. They also gave great recommendations for dinner.

Absolutely perfect stay. I couldn't speak more highly about the hotel. From the reception to the restaurant and to the smiling ladies who serviced my room daily. I had a small single room but was very comfortable. Not noisy and easy to reach. Hot shower, lovely towels and excellent coffee machine in the room. The breakfast was the highlight of my day. ( I stayed for seven days) A case study in how to run a hotel. Congratulations and well done.

Property was very tired. Breakfast food is good but the service is terrible. Nothing is self serve. Waited 50 minutes for food to arrive one morning and 30 minutes the next. Almost missed our city tour. Couch and chair in room worn out.

Lovely guesthouse. Friendly staff, nicely decorated rooms. Compact but clean and tidy. Housekeeping everyday was excellent with fresh bottles of water in the room. Quiet location too. Family friendly. My only complaint is that the breakfast room wasn’t big enough to accommodate all the guests and there was no booking system which means often there was a lengthy queue and it could feel rushed.

This property is in a charming guest house located in a period home near Dublin's Georgian row houses. The staff was gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Be prepared to climb stairs, though (we were on the fourth floor). We did not have air conditioning or a ceiling fan in our room. Luckily the weather cooperated, but I wondered if it would have been as comfortable in warmer (70 degree F) weather.

Accueil bien sympathique et toujours prêt à nous renseigner. Seulement, nous avons été surprises de la taille de la chambre qui était trop petite et pour ouvrir nos valises, ce n’était pas pratique. De plus, la fenêtre était constituée de pavés en verre, mais qui ne pouvait pas s’ouvrir… un velux recouvert d’un store dans le plafond, pouvait aérée la pièce mais aucune vue sur l’extérieur!!! Heureusement que c’était pour 2 nuits ! Le petit-déjeuner était bon ! Mais lorsque j’ai lu auparavant que les produits étaient bio et que c’était des produits maison, un peu déçue de boire un jus d’orange et la confiture en barquette! Par contre le saumon fumé et le porridge étaient très bons ! L’accueil bien sympathique!!

Staff, room, breakfast was excellent. The room was very comfortable and cozy. Staff were so nice to drag my heavy suitcase up 3 flights! Staff also arranged a taxi at 5:30 am for the airport. All around, it was a great experience.

This was a lovely change of pace after staying in a hotel. The accommodations were excellent and suited our needs perfectly. Staying in this historic property that had such character made our stay more memorable. Romi, the manager, was super attentive to our needs and went above and beyond during our stay with anything that we asked about or needed. All staff were exceptional - very friendly, accommodating, and very professional. I highly recommend staying here!

What a special gem in the heart of Dublin! Close to St. Stephens Green park and all the fun of Grafton Street but tucked away on a quiet street. The rooms are so beautiful and cozy with comfortable beds, great rain showers in the bathroom, and a hearty breakfast included every morning. I highly recommend this guest house and know that our family will be back!

The Kilronan House was a perfect place to stay for us. The staff was very accommodating in every way and the location was great as it was an easy walk to the action in Dublin but out of the midst of it, providing a little sanctuary from the crowds. Breakfast each morning was delicious too!

Proprietor was excellent at communication. We were concerned since our flight from the US they came in early in the morning that we would not have a place to store our bags until check in and would have to take them with us everywhere, but they were kind enough to store them for us safely location was perfect to the tram system or within a 30 minute walk to all the great places in Dublin to see. Highly recommend.

This guesthouse had a stellar breakfast and my room was immaculately clean. My room was the size of a closet, but it was a very nice closet. The only recommendation would be that they should replace their staircase carpet soon because it was very worn. Staff was helpful and carried my heavy bag up and down the stairs for me. They also gave great recommendations for dinner.

Love the vintage vibe & decor of this hotel. Breakfast was amazing, staff very friendly. Toiletries provided. Only downside is there is no elevator & our room was on 3rd level. The owner kindly helped with luggage but for checkout we were on our own.

Absolutely perfect stay. I couldn't speak more highly about the hotel. From the reception to the restaurant and to the smiling ladies who serviced my room daily. I had a small single room but was very comfortable. Not noisy and easy to reach. Hot shower, lovely towels and excellent coffee machine in the room. The breakfast was the highlight of my day. ( I stayed for seven days) A case study in how to run a hotel. Congratulations and well done.

Property was very tired. Breakfast food is good but the service is terrible. Nothing is self serve. Waited 50 minutes for food to arrive one morning and 30 minutes the next. Almost missed our city tour. Couch and chair in room worn out.

Lovely guesthouse. Friendly staff, nicely decorated rooms. Compact but clean and tidy. Housekeeping everyday was excellent with fresh bottles of water in the room. Quiet location too. Family friendly. My only complaint is that the breakfast room wasn’t big enough to accommodate all the guests and there was no booking system which means often there was a lengthy queue and it could feel rushed.

Quant hotel, convenient for exploring Dublin attractions. Our room was on the top floor (no elevator, but no problem), so be Europe-prepared with your choice of luggage and footwear! Breakfast was the best of any of the places we stayed in Ireland, but as others have noted, service was a bit slow. We were able to store our luggage after getting off a red eye flight, which was great.

I was in a single room which was adequate and comfortable except for one thing. The window opened into a space between outer walls so very little air made it into my room. It was very hot. The fan did help though.

Be aware that rooms in Number 68 will involve going out and back in to Number 70 to access breakfast room. The hotel was all booked and we had a very nice upgrade which we enjoyed very much and really appreciated it. Making our experience even better. The location is good and quiet, in the portobello area. All within walking distance.
