Decent hotel. Gardens/grounds In need of some TLC to restore them to what was clearly former glory. They should make more of the fact that the hotel has river frontage - maybe a riverside bar or VIP huts they could upsell. The decor could also do with updating. It's clearly popular with weddings/function groups which made it a little busy and overstretched at breakfast. The bar was well stocked, we had a very good bar snack which arrived quickly and was decently priced. The only disappointment was an unnecessarily small bed, as the room could have washing accommodated a King and bizarrely the linen was King. Sleep quality was good with decent pillows - personal hotel bugbear of mine! Really lovely toiletries. Very nice staff. The chap who checked us in - W Mostert - was very thorough and friendly. Overall a good stay for the price.

Hotel is in a lovely location and the building is beautiful. Parking with the electric car was easy (need your own wire) done through an app and was 54p a kWh. Not sure of speed as left it on overnight. Check in was easy. We booked an executive twin room. Arrived at the room was nice to have bottled water (would be nicer with a small fridge so can be chilled). Room was quite small with the twin beds being close together. One bed had a mattress which was shorter than the base. They had tried to disguise it by pulling it away from the top and placing pillows only noticed when lay down and pillows went through the gap. The bathroom was nice but shower small and needed regrouting and the drain needed cleaning. A basic thing overlooked. Toiletries were from turkey would be a nice touch if they used someone local and larger bottles that are refilled rather than little disposable plastic ones. No choice of pillows but hotel was quiet and had a fairly decent sleep. Breakfast was a buffet style with a small continental or English cooked options. I did ask for a different fork as one provided was very small and a struggle with my arthritic hands but was told no. A simple request that should have been easy to fulfill especially as explained my reasoning. Needless to say went to check out. Advised of issues ( I had also messaged in evening and received no reply). Oh and there was quite a few ladybugs in the room. I googled apparently they are just looking for somewhere warm.

A stunning building with beautiful gardens. Staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Our room was spacious, clean and a great nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious, efficiently run and a calm stunning dining room. Electric car chargers were easy to connect and easy to find! Would highly recommend a stay here.

The location was ideal in SW of London. You need a car as public transport is sparse. Reception, Bar and Restaurant service were all excellent. The breakfast buffet in particular was most enjoyable. My room, although modern and quite large was up many stairs and there is no elevator. That’s probably the worst criticism of this hotel. Carrying a large suitcase up and down narrow stairs was no fun. They must install an elevator for this multilevel hotel. All in all a nice stay. Quiet and extremely comfortable.

The staff are what makes this hotel. Apart from that it wasn't great. We had an executive twin room but it looked nothing like the photo and didn't have a small table & 2 chairs. The beds were singles not larger like the photo. There were literally next to each other, you couldn't even walk between the two beds. The shower cubicle was tiny. There were long brown hairs on the top of the duvet & dust & hairs in the drawers. The tv looked as if it was going to fall off the shelf. It certainly wasn't an executive room. The patio outside the restaurant/breakfast room looked awful, very unkept, tatty & overgrown with weeds, not a pleasant view when eating. Breakfast this morning at 9am was poor, hardly anything left, no fresh fruit, yoghurts. We sat in the garden on Thursday when we arrived with a Pimms. Again tables, umbrellas dirty, stained & dusty. Gardens not well looked after, not a pleasant place to sit. Such a shame, wouldn't return.

Three nothings prevent me from giving this property higher scores. First, I found the hotel by doing a search for hotels by Heathrow Airport. As the crow flies, yes, but it’s about a 30-minute drive. A London taxi wanted to charge by £100. Uber cost me about £55. On top of that, the hotel doesn’t offer shuttle bus service. This IS NOT the hotel for someone who wants a hotel near the airport. Second, there were some unusual smells. Can’t explain them. They didn’t extend into my room. Third, the room service menu was very lack luster. On the positive side, it’s a beautiful looking hotel, although could use some sprucing up. The front desk staff was very nice.

We had a comfortable stay for one night. The bed was very squishy and very comfortable. The en-suite was small which is not a problem but a shelf or sink with worktop would have been good as there was nowhere to put toiletries etc. A bit of a strange smell in the downstairs corridor but nothing that affected our stay. All good, nothing to complain about except the fire alarm which went off about 1.30am causing a bit of shock and panic. Lovely breakfast though which was just perfect.

Lovely room, bed and pillows comfortable, tea and coffee and water in room is always appreciated. Didn’t like the shower over the bath, I find it difficult to climb over the side of a bath and no full length mirror in the room! However a rather funky smell in the hotel just beyond the bar area which has been around for a few months which is rather unpleasant.

Good view of the gardens from the room, though somewhat obstructed by the dirty windows that were long overdue a clean, broken window in bathroom. Hotels needs a bit of TLC in some areas. One of the staff told us all about the history of the hotel which was lovely to hear

There aren’t many good options in Weybridge for accommodation. We stayed at Oatlands for 8 nights - spread out over 2 visits during our uk stay. Pro’s - # kids loved the buffet breakfast # Staff at the restaurant were excellent. Con’s - # reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. On both check ins gave poor instructions on our rooms location and how many stairs to get to the rooms. We were travelling with 4 large suitcases plus 4 carry on bags and no lift at the hotel. # The grounds of the hotel were very run down. No grass due to the hot summer, piles of dirt dumped near our room on the 2nd stay. # terrible smells of bad drain and mould in main parts of the hotel. I noticed one diffuser to try to mask it but the smell hits you and is awful.

We stay here regularly when visiting our daughter. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are fabulous, breakfast always good quality and plenty of choice. Staff are always friendly and attentive, from check-in, to the restaurant to the bar. Have tried some of the other local hotels (even Brooklands) but always come back here.

This hotel is in a beautiful part of Surrey, our stay was everything we hoped it would be. We were in 3019 which didn’t have a window view due to obscured glass which was a shame but as we only stayed one night it didn’t bother us. Our only other observation which we thought was odd was the mirror in the bathroom was much to high - I am 5ft 5in and could only see the top of my head. Apart from that our stay was pleasant .

Lovely hotel in a charming garden setting. Front desk and wait service staff are very pleasant and helpful. Some difficulty with our bathroom as there are no grab bars at all. Also, bathtub is very deep and not easy to get in and out of safely.

Started my Easter adventure with a 3 night stay at this hotel and returned for a 1 night stay to break up my journey home from Dover. I was told I had been upgraded from a double to an executive double but I’m not sure if that was true as the room was identical to the superior room I previously had. My only criticism is that the WiFi wasn’t secure - and that isn’t acceptable really.

Lovely building, breakfast was very good. Because the building is old the rooms aren’t too well insulated so can be a bit noisy depending on your neighbours and those walking down the corridor. Room was spacious and light plus the WiFi was very good for a hotel.

Absolutely the best welcome ever. Great reception staff. Lovely bar and restaurant team too. Made to feel special, thanks. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. On checking in at hotel, the receptionist was very helpful and attentive, a very good front of house member of staff. Sadly the room we had been allocated was dreadful!!! I got my head on apex within minutes of entering room, so called through to reception, they upgraded us to much nicer room with no apexes 🙏 Breakfast was strong as they had run out of a lot of items!! Plates, milk jugs!!, I was given a sugar bowl with milk in to pour in to my coffee!! One of the waiters wasn’t aware what a pot of tea was!!

This was our sixth visit to Oatlands Park and it didn't disappoint. We were upgraded to a Feature room, which was fabulous. The staff here are always lovely, from Reception, to the Bar, to the Restaurant, to Housekeeping - can't be faulted. On this visit we felt like we were the guests from hell, as we had to go to Reception four times to ask for assistance with various things but on every occasion the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. A special shout out to Tamara who served us at Breakfast and was an absolute delight! We wouldn't hesitate to go back.

One person on reception at 5.30pm with a queue of 7 people. Totally unacceptable. It took an age to get checked in. Light shining in to the bedroom from the main corridor was so bad I had to place a towel at the door of the door to keep the light out. Room very small for the price I paid.

I was pretty happy with the hotel and room. 2 minor complaints, lack of bar staff in the bar area, especially on a Fri night!! They were also arguing about process of their tills which is not a good look in front of guests! I had no hairdryer in my room, and a lampshade by the bedside wasnt working only there for show, as there was no plug socket behind the bed..

Very nice hotel set in wonderful grounds. Comfortable and clean with very modern facilities and bathrooms. Breakfast choices was very good and staff were very polite. The hotel is in a great location - about 15 minute walk into Weybridge town, but there are bus stops near the hotel. Uber taxi to Hampton Court Palace cost me around £16 but I could have used a 461 bus. All in all a fantastic 3 night break. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I didn’t appreciate was the fact that they have a policy of adding a refundable £150 contingency charge to your credit/debit card - I didn’t appreciate that as it wasn’t mentioned when I booked the hotel - Naughty Naughty.

Lovely hotel. Our room was very nice and the staff was welcoming. However, dinner in the main restaurant was alright but nothing special. “Koffman” fries were underwhelming and my hamburger was overcooked. My husband had the pork belly and found it disappointing. Quality of the meals did not live up to their pricing.

The executive room was lacking a few details such you would expect e.g. a fridge, safe and there was basic tea/coffee making facilities etc. The window glass was cracked and dirty, hidden behind a blind. The bed was comfortable, the towels not big and fluffy. The restaurant menu was limited and expensive. Breakfast items were only just acceptable and not of a particularly high standard. Service in restaurant only just acceptable. Reception staff were very helpful friendly and efficient.
