The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I stayed here because it’s pet friendly and we don’t travel without him, plus it’s less than 10 minutes from my sons house.

Very clean hotel with great staff. The pet friendly policy was over the top. I have stayed at other pet friendly hotels and I like dogs but this place is ridiculous. There were 2 pitbulls in the lobby for about an hour licking the snacks on the bottom shelf. Then there was a little white dog sitting at one of the dining room tables on a pillow so he could reach the table. While trying to get our breakfast, we had to try to avoid stepping on the dog because the owner had it on a long leash while she got her own food. It seems that there are no rules for pet owners because this was all done in front of staff. I will never use Tru again.

Everything was great at this hotel, clean room, very comfy bed, courteous staff, good breakfast, EV charging. The stay was great beyond expectations. Its a minimalist room with all the required thing for a night stay. Will definitely make it a point again to stay.

Tru worked out for us very well. The property and the rooms were clean, the workout room was excellent and it was near several dining option. It had easy access to major highways. I would not hesitate to stay there again, and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Great stay. Kids love the pool table, its now a must for all of our stays. Give them something to do while the wife and I can enjoy a drink and watch them. The lobby area feels like home

Nice staff and new facility. Would give 4.5 stars if could. Didn't have pool but had washer/dryer. Floor in shower was slippery, even for my 27 yo niece. Good breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage cereal, and even make-your-own pancakes. Good variety of food, not mentioned. Tables needed cleaning though. Got nice welcome bag but only after I asked where was the bottled water as leaving.

After we had settled in to our room. We realized a breaker had blown and we didn't have electricity in parts of our room. The desk clerk was attentive and responsive. We did get the night comped. Changing rooms is a hassle and I would recommend that staff check that rooms are operating as expected before guests arrive. Also, the EV stations are poor quality and could be upgraded. We were happy with the staff and their willingness to assist us.

First time trying out the Hilton “TRU” variety. Overall excellent experience. Clean with a modern flair. Beds were very nice. Rooms was on the smaller side, but excellent overall. Shower was outstanding. Great water pressure and liked the walk-in glass shower. Definitely will use this brand again.

Stay itself was fine. You can tell its a new construction because the walls are so paper thin you can hear everything. Conversations on the floor below us as well as the tvs in the rooms on either said were easily heard and hard to ignore. No microwave or coffee in the room. Blankets were rough feeling. Also no drawers at all.

I stayed here for two days while in town for work. The room was clean but quite small and didn’t have a closet. There was also a strong smell when I arrived — maybe from a room freshener — which was a bit much. There were dogs barking in nearby rooms, and since I didn’t have a pet, it made resting difficult. Check-in was smooth and the staff seemed friendly. I’ve stayed at other Hilton locations and never had this issue, so it was a bit disappointing overall. I didn’t use the other amenities, so I can’t comment on those.

Upon arrival to check-in, staff sat in seating area and asked how could they help. Customers should be greeted upon arrival at the desk. And not appear annoyed, despite checking in at 9:30p. Otherwise the property & room were clean and in working condition.

Tru was a low-frills stay, but perfect for work travel--amenities available overnight if you're coming in late, close proximity (same complex) to major shopping and restaurants, and a _very_ friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff. I arrived unexpectedly early, and they worked hard to get me installed in a room, even though they were under no obligation to do so. High recommend.

The staff was really friendly and the hotel and my room were clean. However, it was in a weird location, behind a Walmart. I looked out my window and saw trash bins, cardboard, and all of the nasty stuff that gets thrown out back at a Walmart. I was also surprised at how tiny the room and bathroom was. It kind of had a weird vibe because every other Guest I saw was, for lack of a better term, ghetto. Really loud and sloppy with kids screaming and running around. Again, it was clean and the staff could not have been better, but, it just didn’t seem like a relaxing atmosphere. I hate to say anything negative because the staff was so amazing. I went there because of their high rating, but, next time I’ll just stay at the Fairfield Marriott down the street.

Great stay! Tru was extremely clean, close to many restaurants and shopping (some within walking distance). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Most importantly for us was how quiet it was. It was a short distance from the highway but the room was extremely quiet. Will definitely stay again

Room and staff were great. The only problem we had was no one kept the breakfast stocked. So they ran out of most things and the guy was slow to restock. So no hard boiled eggs, omelette, oatmeal or bagels. Pancake machine also ran out. Had the food service been better our stay would have been 5 star all the way

Beautiful abstract colors and patterns throughout the whole building. Room was clean and staff was pleasant especially after finding out I was a Hilton honors member. They even gave me a little goodie bag with water and chips inside. Definitely will be staying again ! Oh and the pancake machine.. brilliant!

Amazing manager at this facility. Super clean. Anything I needed the mgr was willing to help me with. Breakfast was not the greatest. Need better selections and attention to filling everything. The third day we ate out. If it weren't for the breakfast I would have given this property a 5. Also seems like when the manager isn't present things aren't quite the same.

my husband and i stayed here when we had a wedding to attend in shepherstown about 25 minutes away, but we chose this property due to the positive reviews and close proximity to shopping, restaurants, etc. it was very clean, everything was in good condition, everything worked, and the room was cool and comfortable. breakfast was average- a few drinks to choose from, a couple dry cereal options, oatmeal, pancakes, bagels, omelets and sausage patties.
