Cedar Falls Motel

We had a wonderful stay at this motel. We have dogs and they have a great place to walk. The room was very clean and we stayed very warm and comfortable as it was so cold. It’s the best little secret of Mt Petit Jean! Only 5 min from the lodge and lookout points. The management team is awesome and we will definitely stay here again if we come back to this beautiful park! Loved it!!

Close to Petit Jean State Park and it is dog friendly. They have a huge area that you can let your pet run.

Nice quaint hotel tucked into the woods off of the main road to Petit Jean. We stayed three nights and had two days to explore the park and this hotel was so close that everything we did was just a few minutes away. It is, however, 15 minutes or so to the nearest town for groceries, restaurants, etc.. but that made it even better in our eyes. You can ride down the road a few minutes and get an amazing sunset and wake up the next morning and go a few minutes the other direction and see an amazing sunrise. The place is beautiful and the hotel suits it well. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. There is a nice gazebo/pool area with a fire pit but we didn’t get to use it bc we were getting in late every night and ready to hit the hay. For the price it is definitely worth it. Oh yeah, and it’s pet friendly which is a must for us.

Absolutely lovely staff the upgrades make this a must stop with the family. Bbq grills pinic tables fire pit and pool all while minutes away from amazing hiking trails.

Motel is very run down. The walls in your room are cement brick with very little decoration. You have an air conditioner unit that does not work properly, the pool is small with peeling tiles. The woman who runs the office is very nice, but her husband is not friendly at all. The only nice thing about this place is the location, you are .2 miles from the state park.

What a lovely setting! The motel is basic, which is fine with us. It was clean, the beds were soft and comfortable, and check in was easy. The pool was beautiful and the grounds were just beautiful. We'll return!

Beautiful location, clean and relaxed vibe, and my kids absolutely loved the pool after a long travel day. 10/10, hope to stay again if we’re back in the area.

It was unexpectedly a blast. It's nothing fancy, but it's personable, it's family oriented. Horseshoes, a playground, swimming, grills, a covered picnic area. And a bonfire. We came as strangers and are leaving as friends and will return.

The motel is set back off the the main road so it is very quiet and peaceful. Room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The grandkids had a blast in the pool.

I recently stayed at this charming motel and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. Located in a quiet area, the motel offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The rooms were spotlessly clean, which made me feel right at home. While the rooms and appliances are on the older side, everything was in perfect working order, demonstrating the care and attention given to maintenance. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Another highlight was how close the motel is to the park and scenic trails—just a short walk away, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a restful and convenient stay.

We enjoyed our stay! Everything was very clean! We were right down from the park. Enjoyed the evening at the pool and pavilion! We will definitely be returning!

Our stay was just ok.. not sure how the lodge has an 8.8 rating. Bugs and webs everywhere.. mold in the bathroom, exhaust fan not working. Air was great, beds were ok.

Excellent location as a base stay for hiking Petit Jean State Park, which is 2 miles away. Very nice staff. Cell signal isn't great in the area so be patient when checking in if no one is in the office & you call the number on the door (it's a cell phone). After a short drive around Red Bluff Drive to see Rock House Cave, the Turtle Rocks & the CCC Overlook we went to Mather Lodge for dinner & a beautiful sunset view. Then it was a quick drive back to the motel for a good nights sleep.

It was fine. The room was neat and clean. It is an older motel that has been renovated as much as an older motel can be. The grounds were freshly mowed and beautiful. It was quiet and felt safe. The pool, and the area around the pool, could use some trash pickup and cleaning of the pool. Staff were very pleasant. Coffee was a bit of an issue as it was single size coffee pods for a full sized coffee maker but there is a beautiful, little coffee house just up the road. I would stay again. Just fyi: there is no groceries or gas on the mountain and it's about 25 minutes to Morrilton.

We had a long drive from Arlington Texas because of the rain and traffic. Was hoping for a nice room when we got there, we were very disappointed. The room smelled musty, the carpet was dirty, some type of water or pee spots and old. The sheets did not look clean, no coffee decanter, there was the actual coffee maker but no pot. I requested to charge a different CC instead of using our debit card, she said no problem. Well our debit card was charged instead of regular credit card I wanted to use. The was comfortable and the shower was good. I did bring my own sheet cover and blanket. No place to hang out clothes except if you want to use a rod next to the water heater. The place was run down and desperate need of new everything. It was not clean to me, some small droppings found behind the bathroom door. My husband was even disappointed, he rarely has bad things to say about the places we stay. I should have taken pictures.

This is not a five star hotel, no one is going to turn down your sheets and leave a littke chocolate on your pillow. But it is very close to Petit Jean State Park and all the possibilities it offers. Like 5 minutes close. From the price and pictures I wasn’t expecting more than a bed, a shower, and electricity. It was obviously older motel, circa 1960-1970. The listing doesn't include a refrigerator or microwave so i brought an ice chest. Yes, it is older but it is very well kept up, clean, fresh paint, extremely well taken care of. The people were friendly, there was a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room (room 10) and #9 also had the same. I would definitely recommend this as a good place to stay if you're going to be in that area to enjoy the park but are too old to enjoy roughing it any more. The price was very good, definitely delivered more than what I expected.

We were right on the mountain, which our goal in picking this place. It was very clean and there were plenty of towels. There was a refrigerator and microwave and a small place to eat. It’s an older place and not very fancy or luxurious, but very peaceful and comfortable. My only complaint is after a long a day of hiking there was not enough hot water for both of us to finish a shower. We would stay here again.

The motel was clean and did not have the scent of an old motel!! The room is small. We had a room with two double beds and there was little room left. It had a frig, microwave, coffee pot. It did not have a hair dryer. I checked before we left home because I knew a lot of the older motels do not have them, so it was not a problem for me. We would probably stay here again.

We arrived as exhausted travelers from California to a gloomy room with no T.V. reception (two remotes, no signal, and no instructions), and an outdated internet password on their welcome message. Some welcome. We knew in advance the office was closed from 7 P.M. to 9:00 a.m. with no one to assist us, but the absolute least management can do with no one minding the store is provide instructions for operating the remotes, and a current password. After a long day, and without access to MapQuest for our next journey, we just went to bed. Keep in mind, we are out in the middle of nowhere. When my husband went to the office the next day to say we were checking out, the employee gave him the latest password, but too late, we were on our way. On a positive note, the bathroom was clean with plenty of toiletries, and an above average shower. The location through the Petit Jean State Park is breathtakingly beautiful, and we will always have that to remember, the rest of the journey to our next destination, the lodge at Mt. Magazine State Park.

It was nice having a full sized refrigerator and the room was large.

This has become a traditional place to stay when my fiancé, dog, and I go hiking. Don’t expect WiFi, just peace, quiet, and good company.

The bed frame was very squeaky.

Room clean, sparse, coil mattress, just the basic necessities. Never figured out the TV, no available instructions. Did have a nice mini-fridge and small microwave. Does have WiFi. Bathroom straight from the 50/60’s. New nice pedestal sink, clean towels. Bed smelled clean, floor was clean. AC/Heater unit is a window unit built into the concrete block wall. It’s very loud, but gets the job done. This is a BASIC, FUNCTIONAL room with a bed and bathroom. Do not expect comfort, luxury, or clothes hangers. Also, I did not feel very secure in the room. The door was loose, worked on a numbered lock. Was told not to turn the inside lock to secure the door as it would actually un-lock the door. Weird, but ok. Ended up ok. I am here to write the review. Location is beautiful and breathtaking. You are 1/2 step up from tent camping if you stay here, but you can practically see the state park you are so close. Pool is closed, it is pet-friendly (a big plus), office open till 7pm. I got there at 6:30, but was closed. Called number and hostess gave me the door lock code. Also, I could hear people in room next door use restroom, talk, brush teeth, etc. You get the point.

No one was there when we went to check in. There was a number to call but there was no cell service. Had to drive almost 5 miles to get service to call. We were told our room # and that the door was unlocked. When we got in the room it was a disappointment. The carport was beyond worn and the bathroom was not acceptable. The property as a whole was old and not well maintained. We didn’t not stay. I preferred to lose the money from our reservation.

The room was fine, clean, and comfortable. The location was great. Near Petit Jean State Park. My only negative was trying to check-in. We arrived before 7:00 pm as requested. No one was at the office so there was a sign to call a certain number. Having called the number, the mailbox was full. After banging on the door a few times, someone showed up to check us in,

Read your fine print on this little dump CAREFULLY!!! They close their check ins at the absurd time of 7pm---they make ZERO effort to contact you to figure a plan nor to they leave any kind of way to access your room nor do they answer the after hours number posted on the doors. God forbid someone have an emergency---you should expect nothing from the eople running the place!! Zero stsrs---wholeheartedly DO NOT RECOMMEND

We had asked for clean towels after the 3rd day and never received them.

Exceptional customer service-super friendly staff! We absolutely loved the accommodations,we were very happy with our stay!

The property was built in 1957. Therefore it is old. However it's like stepping into an old classic movie. Bathroom fixtures were new, appliances were new, bed was comfortable. So if plush isnt required, its a nice quiet & safe place to stay. However the worst part was check in. Which gives you a negative & frustrating first impression. No one was in the office upon our arrival at 3:15, even tho check in time said 3 pm. There is a sign on the door that says if no one in the office call this number. But there is no cell service at the resort unless on wifi. We had to leave the property to locate a place with a land line that allowed us to make a phone call. Once we made the call, we were told our room was ready and unlocked with key in the door. It was unlocked with a key on the table inside. We were told that office personnel was over an hour away from lodge.This frustration could have been resolved 2 different ways. If the note on the door would have included wifi password to use if cell coverage wasnt available, we would have been in our room within 5 min. But the best form of communication should have been sent via email or text on the day of arrival that our room (give room number) would be open & waiting on us at 3 pm. I hope they will incorporate one or both of these ideas for future guest. I would stay there again even after this fiasco because we enjoyed the stay. I would call prior to driving up the mtn for check in instructions.

The staff was wonderful very accommodating informational about the region and polite and courteous. We’ll be staying again thank you so much for a wonderful visit.
