Was greeted with a complementary wine tasting upon arriving at the hotel for check in. Staff were friendly and warm, giving quick explanations so we would taste and enjoy the wine. Property is on the lovely Mandoon Estate which is well maintained and beautiful. Enjoy the sunset views while sipping wine or morning sun as you have breakfast in the restaurant.

Loved the location, the staff, the food. Great that there were a couple of dining options (one fine dining Friday to Sunday only) and another within walking distance. Winery and brewery onsite. Everyone we encountered were happy and not too busy to help with suggestions.

Our room was lovely, quite new with all amenities and silent air-con. Easy secure parking outside our room, which is set amongst the beautiful vines. The brewery and restaurant are a 200 metre walk along a well lit path and we chose to eat in the Homestead Brewery - a great choice! Our meals were superb, with prompt, friendly service. Breakfast was just a lovely. Overall a great place to stay out of the city with all the attractions of the Swan Valley close by.

We stayed 2 nights at Maya Maya to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. It's a lovely place in the tranquil Swan Valley and has plenty of options for food/drink/entertainment. Our room was upstairs with a balcony overlooking the trees and river. The room had everything we needed including Nespresso pod coffee machine, small fridge, glasses and cups. A complimentary bottle of wine was much appreciated.

Their "fancy" tv system stopped working in the middle of the Australian Open final and none of their movies would then load either...so the blank wall wasn\'t very entertaining...left bright and chirpy at 6:30am. Previous reviews mention the extra small fridge that is pre-filled with bottles and cans that have to all be removed in order to keep anything cool so disappointing overall.

This was a lovely room and the brewery and meal were also lovely. The grounds are fantastic. Only downside was the lack of a swimming pool as it was so hot and we could not find a place where we could swim in the river.

Maya Maya is in a great location only 20 minutes from Perth airport. Great for wine tasting in the Swan Valley. A good sized room with ground floor patio. A short stroll to the restaurants and bar. Parking in front of room. Clean and modern. Did have a problem with tiny ants, but some spray took care of them.

As always, a lovely place to stay when in Perth. Fabulous rooms and surrounds. Brewery is great for food and drinks. Housekeeping is immaculate! Only things that would make my life a little better when I stay here is a breakfast option that starts a bit earlier (an in-room pack would be fine!) and an onsite gym or running / walking track.

Quality stay in 2023 was impressive so I revisited for 2 nights. The service this time, however, disappointed me indeed. Overwhelming messages to confirm check-in time. Their strong preference is arrival before 6pm. I arrived at 5:45pm but the reception was CLOSED! Check-in was finally conducted by restaurant staff. I’ve reserved breakfast buffet at $35 via the reception but Wild Swan charged me $39 as no appointment was recorded. Needed clarification to charge $35 finally. No bottles of water and body wash were refilled after room make-up on the 2nd day. These items could be provided but guests should do self pick-up at restaurant. The bedcover had a clear stain in orange colour but Maya Maya still used it. I took photos for record coz I’m afraid Maya Maya would charge me later on. I kept sliding doors & net closed all the time but lots of flying insects still accessed room inside. A cockroach-like insect 1.5cmx1cm in size was drowned inside my red wine glass. Terrible! My check-in was Thursday & I had dinner at HOMESTEAD Brewery that evening. After ordering GRILLED LAMB CHOPS at $39, I noted that a TV monitor shows occasionally “$25 WAGYU STEAK NIGHT FROM 4PM” for Thursdays. Staff would never provide promotion information when taking order. I got 4 bites by insects during dinner. Asked staff whether they could provide repellent, they said no definitely. No care about guests on a general need at all. Just expect a reasonable service at quality vineyard.

Lovely place to stay while enjoying the area of Swan valley.The staff are warm & friendly. The rooms are clean & serviced every day. Complimentary bottled water provided each day . We had an upstairs room but you need to be able to walk up & carry your bags upstairs. Lovely view of the river from the balcony. The homestead restaurant serves excellent food & wine .well worth booking a wine tasting experience at the cellar door.

This is the 2nd time I stayed at Maya Maya, the pillows in the room was not fresh, instead they had a perspiration smell which was quite unpleasant. I don’t believe they washed the pillows/pillow cases as they should. The vineyard, brewery and the restaurant are as good as last year, beautiful scenery and good food and beer/wine.

The service was excellent. We were welcomed upon arrival and staff was friendly. However, in regards to cleanliness, we found ants on the bed and I got a bug bite on my back over night. Air dryer was available, which was good. However, it was in the perfect location if you’re having a wedding at Mandoon or Sandalford.

This property is directly under the flight path, so if you can sleep through the noise it won’t bother you, but I was woken at 5am by flights commencing, with one flying overhead every 10 minutes. They only stopped the night before at midnight. I was also deeply disappointed by the state of the sheets (blood stains and hairs), and as I arrived late to the property, there was no one to complain to at the time I headed to bed. In addition, the mattress was rock hard, so I had to sleep on the pillows. Dreadful stay.

We enjoyed our one night stay at Mandoon and wished we could have stayed for more. The 3 rooms were prepared in advance and the infant cot that I requested was placed prior in the room. Shower facilities were great. However, walls are a bit thin and any passing human traffic can be heard quite loudly. Food was good and we enjoyed our meals at homestead brewery. It was also the only restaurant that was open during our stay there.

Lovely stay over at Maya Maya.Had an amazing long lunch at Wild Swan and felt like we were out in the country when we are only 30 mins from home. Only one downside was being close to the airport there was aircraft noise from early in the morning, but other than that loved the experience.

Not the most comfortable suite I have stayed in, there was no comfortable seat or lounge in the room which meant sitting on the bed to have dinner. I got the room for a discounted rate, but even at the discounted rate I don’t think it was worth it.

Bed comfortable, setting by the river is very pretty with gorgeous bird sounds. Spacious well appointed rooms, but due to all the hard surfaces and minimalist decor it didn’t feel warm or cosy, maybe some rugs around the room would help? Noisy heavy doors on the landings and into rooms when opening and closing. All things that could perhaps be fixed to make a more comfy and private space.

Loved the location, the staff, the food. Great that there were a couple of dining options (one fine dining Friday to Sunday only) and another within walking distance. Winery and brewery onsite. Everyone we encountered were happy and not too busy to help with suggestions.

Quality stay in 2023 was impressive so I revisited for 2 nights. The service this time, however, disappointed me indeed. Overwhelming messages to confirm check-in time. Their strong preference is arrival before 6pm. I arrived at 5:45pm but the reception was CLOSED! Check-in was finally conducted by restaurant staff. I’ve reserved breakfast buffet at $35 via the reception but Wild Swan charged me $39 as no appointment was recorded. Needed clarification to charge $35 finally. No bottles of water and body wash were refilled after room make-up on the 2nd day. These items could be provided but guests should do self pick-up at restaurant. The bedcover had a clear stain in orange colour but Maya Maya still used it. I took photos for record coz I’m afraid Maya Maya would charge me later on. I kept sliding doors & net closed all the time but lots of flying insects still accessed room inside. A cockroach-like insect 1.5cmx1cm in size was drowned inside my red wine glass. Terrible! My check-in was Thursday & I had dinner at HOMESTEAD Brewery that evening. After ordering GRILLED LAMB CHOPS at $39, I noted that a TV monitor shows occasionally “$25 WAGYU STEAK NIGHT FROM 4PM” for Thursdays. Staff would never provide promotion information when taking order. I got 4 bites by insects during dinner. Asked staff whether they could provide repellent, they said no definitely. No care about guests on a general need at all. Just expect a reasonable service at quality vineyard.

Very tranquil relaxed night spent in a very clean room with a nice outside area looking over the river. Great Expedia VIP benefit was a bottle of Rose in the room which was very nice. Only very minor comment was I received a lot of emails from the property prior to the day (I was asked for and provided my ETA at least 3 times), which was a bit unnecessary.

We had a great time at Mandoon Estate and wished we stayed longer. Great accommodation, easy walk to a good variety of restaurants, beautiful grounds, very friendly staff and I was very impressed with the breakfast buffet.

Had a great stay in a really nice room. Breakfast was also good, and thecwine tasting very enjoyable. Only thing I would say was I received a ridiculous amount of emails leading uo to a one night stay, and was asked multiple times to confirm check in time, despite having provided this information. The hotel also tried to charge my credit card for the stay even though I'd already paid expedia. It was all sorted out though and it wss a very enjoyable stay.

Lovely stay over at Maya Maya.Had an amazing long lunch at Wild Swan and felt like we were out in the country when we are only 30 mins from home. Only one downside was being close to the airport there was aircraft noise from early in the morning, but other than that loved the experience.

Maya Maya is in a great location only 20 minutes from Perth airport. Great for wine tasting in the Swan Valley. A good sized room with ground floor patio. A short stroll to the restaurants and bar. Parking in front of room. Clean and modern. Did have a problem with tiny ants, but some spray took care of them.

Our room was lovely, quite new with all amenities and silent air-con. Easy secure parking outside our room, which is set amongst the beautiful vines. The brewery and restaurant are a 200 metre walk along a well lit path and we chose to eat in the Homestead Brewery - a great choice! Our meals were superb, with prompt, friendly service. Breakfast was just a lovely. Overall a great place to stay out of the city with all the attractions of the Swan Valley close by.

We enjoyed our one night stay at Mandoon and wished we could have stayed for more. The 3 rooms were prepared in advance and the infant cot that I requested was placed prior in the room. Shower facilities were great. However, walls are a bit thin and any passing human traffic can be heard quite loudly. Food was good and we enjoyed our meals at homestead brewery. It was also the only restaurant that was open during our stay there.
