구석 구석 너무 아름다웠습니다. 놀라움의 연속이었고요. 지금까지 많은 호텔을 다녀봤지만 가장 아름다운 호텔이었다고 말할 수 있습니다. 300점에 달한다는 이케바나를 찾아보는 즐거움이 특히 컸습니다. 늘 후지산을 바라볼 수 있는 감동에 스탭분들도 매우 친절했습니다. 다만 호텔 안에 점심 식당이 없는 점은 좀 당혹스러웠습니다.

This hotel offers SO much. Two onsens, restaurants, lounges, free kimono rental, drum performance, karaoke, beautiful gardens, tea, massages, facials, half-board dinner, and a fantastic view of Mount Fuji (if you go on a good day!) We stayed two nights and were not able to do it all. If you want a relaxing stay with plenty to do just in the hotel, this is an excellent choice and a major highlight of our trip to Japan. I went to the rooftop Onsen early in the morning and had the most spectacular view of Mount Fuji. I literally visited the onsen four times in two days…and had the Onsen all to myself multiple times. Plus, the wine lounge is unlimited wine, coffee, tea, bar snacks, and ice cream! I cannot recommend this hotel enough and we are already hoping to book again!!

Extraordinary service and hospitality! Facilities, wine tasting lounge and drum show were unique and enjoyable. Plenty of space for all guests except during drumming show Sunday evenings - Our only frustration was the poor internet service - we had a bit of medical work to handle and could not connect to and maintain connection with internet in our rooms. Our onsen and room was fabulous.

The long-awaited Fuji Garden-style natural hot spring（Onsen） hotel with half board did not disappoint. Just like the name of the hotel, "Garden and Touching Inn". It not only has several natural springs public bath, but also the largest Japanese garden at the foot of Mount Fuji, which is beautiful all year round. The infinity multi-layer hot spring pool on the top floor offers an unobstructed view of Mount Fuji. There is also a large public bath on the first floor, divided into men's and women's baths, each with indoor and outdoor areas. There is also a QR code at the elevator entrance that can be scanned to instantly check the number of people bathing in the hot spring to avoid peak hours. My mom and I took a bath three times outdoors, which was very comfortable😌 The hotel also has a lot of activities, including kaiseki dinner,tasting green tea and snacks, hot spring foot bath in the courtyard, renting traditional costumes, even the cheapest colorful yukata like us looks good, and the Yamanashi Lounge with free and unlimited wine (produced in Yamanashi locally), beer, snacks, Haagen-Dazs/Godiva ice cream. In the evening, there are drum performances by strong men (20 minutes of non-stop, uniform, firm and powerful drums, and every sound hits the heart) and Bingo lottery activities, which are really worth the room price. Only drawback was breakfast not very tasty although lots of options. And it was 10 mins drive from Kawaguchiko station which needs to book shuttle bus.

The hotel was decent, but their pricing is too high – in my opinion – for what they offer. We booked one of the rooms with the futon-style beds. The room and bathroom were very clean, however there was a musty smell in the hallways. Additionally, the bathroom was rather outdated and old. Breakfast was included, which was a nice buffet-style breakfast. The utensils were clean and the food was good, with nice variety. We opted to also have their traditional dinner included. Dinner was decent, but lacked flavour (perhaps that's how traditional Japanese food is?). Their rooftop onsen was also nice, as well as the garden in the back. The general view that one gets from the place is really spectacular (you get an awesome view of Mount Fuji). The location is really picturesque. Overall, a nice place to be – but only truly worth the stay if their pricing was much lower. Their cheapest option is at least CAD $290 per person, per night (assuming 2 people are splitting the cost of one room). This is simply far too expensive for the overall experience and facilities that they offer. I've stayed at much more luxurious hotels for about CAD $50 less (per person, per night, assuming 2 people are sharing).

Fantastic experience Only slight comment was we found some mold in the bathroom toilet sink. All though the rest of the room was very clean. The dining, facilities, garden, staff and service were fantastic and excellent views of Mt Fuji. I would come back Come back here

部屋のソファに白く長い髪の毛が何本も付いていて不快でした。４世代で行きましたが、車椅子使用の高齢者と1歳の赤ちゃんに対しても食事スタッフの細やかな対応がとても良かったです。懐石料理を美味しく堪能できました。露天風呂付きの客室で景色を期待していましたが、あいにくの曇り空により富士山はよく見えず残念でした。しかし、浴槽は足を伸ばしてもゆったりと入ることができ、湯温も好みの温度に調整出来て気持ち良かったです。1階の大浴場にも露天風呂がついていて、お部屋とは違った満足を味わえました。大人2名は広々としたツインのベッドで、大人1名と赤ちゃん1名には大人用布団2組を用意していただけました。夜、スタッフによる太鼓ショーが迫力満点で圧巻でした。太鼓ショーの後に景品付きのビンゴゲームもあり、イベント事も楽しめました。屋上の露天風呂やクラブラウンジにも行きたかったですが、1泊2日ではとても足りません。

My worst nightmare of staying at a hotel is having either having bed bugs or cockroach and it became a reality on the second night. Around 1am, as I was reading in bed, I saw a cockroach running across my pillow. Needless to say, I screamed and jumped off the bed so fast that I almost fell over. The roach kept going in and out underneath both mine and my daughter’s bed. Hotel staff came up and killed it but we couldn’t sleep a wink the rest of the night. We didn’t dare turn off the lights and we were on a watch the entire night of our surroundings because when you see an indoor cockroach, you know there are many others hiding in the dark. Hotel gave me compensation of around $340 which is not enough since we paid $3000 for 2 nights for 4 people. Due to language barrier, we couldn’t discuss the compensation in detail but I think they only compensated me when it should have been for 2 people. Both my daughter and I were too tired to enjoy the rest of our trip in Osaka afterwards. We are both completely traumatized by this incident and still having nightmares. If it wasn’t for that issue, I think we’d of had pleasant stay overall. Staff members were polite and respectful and we had a beautiful view of Mnt Fuji.

Staff was amazing, very attentive and kind! My room was spacious and had a great view of Mt Fuji but bathroom smelled terribly musty, like mold and there were some water marks and likely mold growing on the closet door. The AC also kept shutting off in the night despite me having turned it on.

This was our first ryokan experience. The service was incredible throughout - very easy to communicate with the hotel team, who were very responsive and helpful. The staff were all super welcoming throughout our stay. The interior is beautiful, and the gardens are stunning. Our room was large, bright and calming, with a private bath. The rooftop onsen is amazing and has an uninterrupted view of mt fuji. Private dining room with kaiseki-ryori tea ceremony, wine bar, and an unbelievable taiko drum performance in the evening from the staff house band. Only complaint is that there was a bit of mould staining around the bathroom, but not sure if this can be helped given the amount of hot water that is used in the bath area. It also had a little bit of an odd smell, but nothing terrible. Would definitely come back and would want to stay longer (one night went by too quick). Good value considering everything that you get for the price.

We stayed in a Western style Sanri room which had a private onsen with a view of Mt Fuji. The room is pricey but so worth it! The hotel provides shuttle service from 2 nearby train stations.The view was amazing! Mt Fuji was literally 5 blocks from the hotel! You could see it in full view from the window bench seat in our room and from the balcony. The onsen on the balcony was perfect! (My husband has a full sleeve tattoo so we decided to get the private onsen). Tattoos are only allowed in the public onsen if they are small and can be covered with a bandage. But I think it was better to share the experience of the onsen together vs going to a men or women’s one by ourselves. They provide you with a yukata which everyone wears around the hotel property. You can also rent a nicer one in the boutique in the lobby for free or there’s fancier ones to rent for a price. Pajamas are also provided. The reservation came with a kaiseki dinner and a breakfast buffet (with American and Japanese style food). I emailed the hotel in advance that we are allergic to seafood and they were so accommodating to alter the dinner for us. Service was awesome! The 2 lounges we had access to were great! Unlimited wine and a beer on tap! And a freezer with Haagen Daz & Godiva ice cream! They even have a nightly taiko drum performance in the lobby. The garden was also amazing which they light up at night. There’s also a foot onsen in the garden. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

We booked a room with private onsen with mount fuji view - it was honestly a great experience (apart from the fact we were lucky enough to wake up to mount fuji). The resort itself, while built a long time back, is reasonably well maintained. The tatami room is a treat and my 1.5yo absolutely loved it. There were so much to do everyday, from trying out yukata to tea appreciation to drum performance in the evening and wine tasting. If I were to go back to Mt Fuji area, I will no doubt choose this property again. Also special mention to the wonderful Ms Fukunaga. She took such good care of us including our 1.5yo. She's an asset to the resort for sure!

This hotel exceeded all of my expectations. Our room was massive and comfortable. I loved wearing the jinbei provided, as well as the yukata from the shop on property. Having our own private onsen was magical and the view of Mt Fuji while enjoying it was spectacular. The rooftop onsen was also beautiful, as were the gardens, tea house, and outdoor foot bath. Every staff member was friendly and helpful, and service was always impeccable. The breakfast buffet had a ton of great options (I love the omelet station) and the nightly dinner was incredible: the quality of the food and its presentation was amazing. The drumming after dinner was captivating. The hotel location is convenient - we drove to 5th station, the panoramic ropeway, and surrounding lakes and attractions in no time. We loved our stay at this property and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic experience near Mt Fuji.

This property was amazing, the hotel and rooms were beautiful. The private in room onsen and view of Mt Fuji from our room was incredible. The staff was top notch, friendly, professional & very helpful, having most of the checkin process in the room was very nice. Amenities & food were excellent! Also the garden and grounds were beautiful and a true nature lovers paradise. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel.

This was a splurge, but we wanted a private open air bath with a Mount Fuji view. There were a lot of options at booking, and I'd heed anyone to research very carefully before choosing. We chose the Yuraku Luxury Japanese Style Room, but didn't realize that these were only on Floors 1 to 3. When we were brought to our room on the 2nd floor, it was instantly disappointing. Our Mount Fuji view was a flimsy technicality; you could see a sliver if you leaned a certain direction at the window. If it was listed as a partial view, it would have been accurate, but calling it a Mount Fuji view was a stretch, just like what you'd have to do to see it from the room. After lots of discussion with the staff, they were able to relocate us to the 3rd floor -- an improvement, but still didn't live up to our imagination of what it'd be based on the photos. (Also, since we went in the winter, we'd basically lost precious time to actually see Mount Fuji on a cloudless day.) For anyone looking to book for the same reason, I'd suggest the Sanri western style rooms with open air baths instead, which cost a little more but are on Floors 6 to 9, I believe. I'd also use Street View to get a better sense of the view you'd be getting, since the building actually doesn't face Mount Fuji directly, so there's a limit to how good the view can be anyway. If I were to do it again, I'd book somewhere that met all my requirements.

I honestly cannot rate the property or stay. My bf and I hiked Fuji that day and the hotel told us they’d only provide a shuttle to hotel until 7 pm. When we didn’t finish hiking until after 7 we just assumed we could take a taxi to the hotel. The hotel did not inform us the road to the mountain closed at night and we’d be stranded on the mountain if we didnt make it back in time. We ended up missing the last shuttle to the hotel and could not make it off the mountain until morning, missing our entire reservation and sleeping on the floor of the mountain lounge. I called the hotel that night to inform them of our problem and they do not answer the phone after business hours. I had to then contact them through Expedia and they also could not get through to them. I didn’t receive any refund or rescheduled stay. It’s a shame because I was really looking forward to staying there it looks beautiful in photos but poor communication prevented us from even getting to use the room we paid for.

The hotel staffs didn’t have real Japanese hospitality and couldn’t speak English well. They were very rigid and usually say sorry which didn’t mean real sorry. We bought one champagne and would like to pair with Kaiseki food. The manager didn’t give us compliment for corkage charge though we had a group of five people. Every ryokan that we stayed they were very flexible and more friendly.

Very nice property. Large gardens, fountains, waterfalls everywhere inside and out around the property. Has its own shuttle to Mt Fuji station or other stations in the area. Staff were amazing. Free kimono and Japanese pajama rental. Free show and bingo after at 8pm. The meal package was amazing, breakfast buffet was massive, dinner was a 7 course meal. Also, a free wine lounge with snacks and alcohol available. Can't say enough good things, would go again.

All the attention to detail was reflected in our stay. From the warm welcome, the staff's service, the linens provided to make us feel at home, the drum and piano show, the food, and the wonderful garden. Even the after-stay service (we forgot our smartphone, and they were so kind as to send it to the next hotel within 24 hours), I will definitely return.

We had an EXCELLENT stay! The staff constantly went above and beyond and catered to every need immediately. From handling your luggage to always picking up the phone in a couple rings to waving goodbye on the driveway, the hospitality is unmatched to any experience we’ve ever had. Not to mention that the food was incredible, particularly dinner which we felt was comparable to an omakase quality. We chose the room with a private onsen with a view of Mt. Fuji and had the best view. We might’ve lucked out and came during a non-busy season so there were minimal people on the rooftop bath for yet another great view of Mt. Fuji. Lastly, the free shuttles from the two train stations made it very convenient to get to and from the resort. Well done!

We loved this hotel, however it is BIG! The service is amazing and the onsens are fantastic. The garden is also very beautiful. It lacks in walk ability, although we did make the track into town which took about 20 minutes on a busy farm road. The drum show and tea ceremony which are both complementary were both lovely. The dinner set was 9 small courses and were of fantastic quality, but we were definitely tired of sashimi by this time. The breakfast is buffet style and offers many choices from pancakes to miso soup and fish. We chose this hotel specifically for the private onsen and that did not disappoint myself or my teenage daughter. The public onsen that I used were also very nice. The view of mnt Fuji is stunning.

Amazing hotel with wonderful staff. We stayed for two incredibly comfortable nights and enjoyed all of the many amenities. It's very easy to get to and from the hotel via their shuttles - Fujisan, Kawaguchiko, Gotemba, and Mishima stations are all within easy reach!

The room was fabulous. Service staff are very friendly. There are a lot of activities to do in the hotel. Living close to nature. The only downside is that it is not near the train station, you have to call the hotel to get someone to fetch you (Limit 6pm). Additionally, there aren't a lot of shops around but everything can be found in the hotel itself.

Wonderful location and service. Beautiful grounds. Excellent range at breakfast though many large groups. Excellent wine bar that we paid for as part of the booking. Self help to over 30 types of Japanese wine and premium snacks. Plus wonderful onsen in the room. Would stay again

We splurged on this hotel and it was magical! They offer a free shuttle from the train station, super easy to get to from Tokyo. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful once you get in! We got the private onsen room, that had a lovely view of Mt. Fuji from the window seat (love the window seat) and the onsen. Dinner came with the room and it was an incredible 10 course tasting menu (with vegetarian/vegan options). Also included was access to the lounge with the best massage chair ever, snacks and free drinks (alcohol too) during certain times. There was a live drum show which was amazing. Absolutely loved this place and would highly recommend.

Traditional Japanese Onsen offering a great authentic experience. Sleeping in the floor wasn’t comfortable but this is part of the deal. Great food, but no western options so if you don’t like Japanese cuisine you won’t have much else to eat

The only improvement needed is dinner. It was quite disappointing us. If got improved in dinner, this hotel would be perfect. Breakfast was nice, lots of choices. Room was clean, staff were nice. With very good activities inside the hotel

An excellent Japanese experience with an eight course dinner every night and an amazing breakfast buffet. The Japanese hospitality and service is legendary at these ryokens.

A memorable stay in this hotel during our family's Japan vacation. The Japanese traditional Kaiseki dinner is the highlight, followed by drum show. Hotel has a beautiful garden sterches out acres with rich vegetation and architectural details. Wine bar provides nice coffee, snacks and wine tasting. I only wish the breakfast doesnt close that early (9am).

We have stayed in this ryokan a few times. The quality of dinner has been declining. It was not bad but not good. It was just social. And I think for ryokan food quality is important. But everything else was good.

Excellent and friendly staff service. Appreciate they were able to accommodate food allergies with alternative options. Mount Fuji view from rooftop hot spring was stunning.
