Maramara Centro

This property is still under construction about half completed. The garden terrace not done the bar area completely unfinished in fact barely started. The front desk is not manned until 9am and gone at 4pm. Getting to the rooftop pool takes you through a lot of construction and once there you are surrounded by buildings under construction. Very noisy and not relaxing. Pool water was murky not crystal clear. Room was nicely appointed but very small. Toilet was positioned in a way that was very difficult. Once this place is finished I imagine it will be lovely but its far from there presently.

Awesome friendly staff. We love the location a couple blocks from the caos. Nice modern clean rooms. We have Expedia VIP and they let us check out late. The only thing missing was the jacuzzis they are beung worked on. Will definately be back.

Room was clean, modern and bright. the location was excellent - just on the edge of town so not noisy but still well lit and safe coming back from town in the evenings. the rooftop pool was exceptional. The neighbourhood the hotel is in includes local residences - and neighbours have roosters... they will wake you up at the crack of dawn. it was also quite a hassle to trade in beach towels for less sandy ones.

This property is simple and has a great pool. It was clean and had what we needed. The location is close to lots of stores and places to eat. We were able to lock up our golf cart in a garage. Our room was next to the janitor closet so it was noisy during the day. The view on all sides was all active construction.

Very nice and spacious room. Staff very attentive. Rooftop pool beautiful. Parking is underground. Too low of clearance for our truck with canopy. Staff arranged parking in a secure lot nearby.

Like: Easy access to parking structure and lobby Recently built property Rooftop swimming pool. Great view. Didn’t Like: Power blackout during rain. A backup power plant would make guest experience smoother and more enjoyable during those days since they are quite frequent.

Cute hotel about 10 mins from the main Sayulita Beach. The property itself is modern and very clean/well maintained. Has a gym and co-working offices. I was travelling with my 8 year old daughter - we stayed in a basic/small room and it was fantastic - had everything we needed, beautifully designed, offered bottled water w the room, safe, closet and great bathroom. Wifi was powerful and room had AC. Due to the design (all concrete floors/walls) and no door buffers, the sound carries easily down the hallways so when other ppl coming home later at night the noise carries into the room. For the price tho, this is a steal! I'd definitely stay here again (with ear plugs to minimize night-time disruptions) because the location close to the beach, rooftop pool, security, and modern design were a memorable part of our Sayulita vacation.

Maramara was a great place to stay for myself, my partner, and our teenage son. We spent a week here and had a great experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean and in a safe area in town. Even though the location has some construction mess and litter from everyday life, the hotel has done its best to upkeep its property and facilities. So, you have to walk some less than clean area To get here, but that’s the same in most areas in this quickly growing beach town. The location is fantastic. Close enough to walk to beaches, shops/food, but tucked back a few streets to avoid the noise from the busier bars. Very secure and has great parking. The pools are fantastic, and the layout of the building itself feels quite contemporary and funky. Air conditioning worked great, linens were clean and soft, rooms were furnished beautifully. The only thing we would like to see improved would be the toilet. The toilet seat was not the right size for the toilet (it was a few inches too short) so the porcelain was exposed and hard to avoid touching if you had to sit down. I saw other toilets in the building that had correct sized seats, so it may have just been our room needing it. Besides that, this hotel definitely met our expectations and we would stay here again for sure. It works well for singles, couples, and small family trips like ours. We felt at home and were taken care of well by the front desk and cleaning staff. Thanks Maramara!

This propery is perplexing. We booked a kitchen unit on Expedia, got there and it wasn't available for the first week. The rooms are small and reek of sewage from the sewer issues, the ac units are filthy, we felt sick when in the room. There are nice spaces but very few chairs, a whole roof top garder area, not 1 table or chair, the roof top pool is the highlight but very few chairs and not comfortable at all. The housekeeping was inconsistent, often skipping water bottles, towels, coffee ect. Its like the place isn't finished, no towel hooks, no where to hang wet clothes, This place could be amazing but the management is in conflict with owners of some of the rooms and the quality of experience reflects that . From talking to an owner this place is going broke fast and trying to rent unsold condos to stay liquid. They did adjust our bill but i really wish they weren't so misleading with their booking. Security is non existtent, there is a keypad on the gate but you can just reach through and press the exit button from outside making it useless. No deadbolt or lock chain on the room doors. We made the best of it and had fun but would not return.

Great hotel, friendly staff and clean room. We enjoyed our stay. However, there was a strong sewage smell in the room and some parts of the hotel.

The architecture was beautiful. The luxury room had cheap, lumpy pillows, sweaty microfiber sheets, no towel rack in the bathroom, no ramp for suitcases. But it was convenient, clean, had a nice ground floor pool, and all the staff were very friendly.

The staff are kind and generous. The entire hotel is clean and well kept.

I’m not sure how this place gets so many 5 star reviews when it honestly does not deserve them. It smelled like sewage in the bathroom and the closet. The bed was not Queen but a Full size and if we would have know we would not book this place, as for two people a full size bed is not comfortable to sleep in. One of us had to sleep on the couch in the living room but they also didn’t provide extra blankets for that. The front desk staff was not helpful at all. We asked them for two extra towels as there was two of us and an extra key. The front desk staff said they only allow for two towels a day and that they don’t have an extra key. Only after reaching out online through hotels.com they brought us the key and the towels. The jacuzzis were not working, so we couldn’t use those. The walls are very thin and you can hear not only your neighbors but also everyone in the hallway. In addition you will be awaken by any motorcycle passing by. The curtains had stains and some rips, the balcony probably haven’t seen a broom in many months and the gym equipment had been pretty dirty as well. Not a great experience and will definitely be staying away from this place for future stays.

La chambre était très propre et nettoyée chaque jour. C’était facile d’accès et près des restaurants et plage. Le wifi était bon. Seule chose, l’insonorisation n’est peut-être pas au top, j’entendais tout dès que des gens entraient ou sortaient de leur chambre dans le corridor. Sinon tout était parfait !

Overall, it was a lovely place but the crowing rooster all night and the incessant barking of dogs, i could have done without. Loved the rooftop patio, the staff was friendly and the suite had all the amenities required.

Love the rooftop pool! The room was very comfortable as was the bed. (Often hard to come by in Mexico ;-))

Room was a lot smaller than expected - very noisy in the morning. Lock on hotel door was less than secure and easily picked if tried. No dead bolt. Although staff was pleasant enough, would not recommend or stay again.

This hotel was much more basic than shown. The lighting in the bathroom was terrible as well. It felt more like hostel than hotel but we had a great trip to the area.

Super friendly staff, air conditioned rooms, great facilities. Secure beds of room could have been a bit better, the door to the shared patio didn’t lock. Bit of a walk to get to town but not too bad. Nice cafes and Grocery store nearby. Overall an awesome stay!

The staff here is super lovely, and we had a wonderful stay. One night, a blackout knocked out our A/C and we were generously upgraded to a nicer suite (with A/C in tact). The pool is beautiful (though it doesn't have any shade) and the location is perfect for walking into town without being so 'in it' that it's loud. Would recommend.

What a lovely space. Check it out! Super clean, quiet when it needs to be. Most importantly it’s close to the action but far away enough you can actually sleep. I would absolutely stay here again. 8 minute walk to the beach. Thank you, Mara Mara!

I had a fantastic stay at Maramara! The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was great—a 5-minute walk to the town centre and 10 min to the beach. The rooftop pool had amazing views and was a perfect spot to relax after a long day of walking around Saulita!

Great location. Just steps out of the heavy traffic area. Great shops/restaurants/drug stores/corner stores/coffee shops. Classic dog barking and rosters crowing. We loved the roof top pool. We were in it everyday. You are in easy walking distance to town. The sidewalks and roads can be s challenging for people with walking issues. Lots to see and do. People are friendly and polite. The town has a real vibe to it. We were there at spring break and a (was not aware of) Mexico holiday. The town was packed. Alot of partying. Loved the north end of beach it was little quieter. The waves can be challenging for swimming at the beach. It is a surf town. We were there 7 days. Great sunshine, perfect temperature.

Very clean nice property with 2 pools,1 cold and great coffee for the coffee maker. Would be nice to have a cafe too.
