The Springs Hotel

We’re always on the lookout for amazing stays and Springs hotel didn’t disappoint. It’s located maybe 100 yards south of downtown OS so it’s convenient to everything. Our room was on the front facing Washington ave. There’s a beautiful porch you can sit on and enjoy the evening and the ancient oak trees. Thanks to Larry for still being signed into Netflix, we saw a new comedy we loved lol. We watched way too many and got to sleep late. The room was very quiet and the bed was more than comfortable! The bathroom is AMAZING! The tiled floor is a work of art and the shower…. The shower is an experience I will plant my in your mind and let grow until you have to experience it yourself. Our only complaint had nothing to do with the hotel. One of the neighbors had a rooster who did roosterly things just before dawn. Maybe it’s time to be “un-neighborly” and have a fried chicken night - just a thought. Be sure to check out Aunt Jenny’s for dinner and DO not leave OS without stopping by TatoNut - diabetes be damned. Stay here. Don’t settle for somewhere else - you’ll wish you had listened to me.

This was our first experience of contactless check-in. Very convenient. Staff is kind and amenable. It is in a great location, next to the Walter Anderson museum and other shops. The room was neat and clean. We would like to recommend an elevator to reach rooms on the second floor.

The Springs Hotel is a contemporary two story hotel right in the middle of Ocean Springs. There is minimal to almost no involvement with the staff; you have to call them if you need them. I didn’t notice on their website, that there is no elevator to the second floor, the stairs are a single long staircase- a challenge with luggage. The room I was in had a window in the eve, but no window a eye level, kinda claustrophobic.

Very clean. Was a little concerned about the bed - very soft. I have back issues. But it slept well. Covers very comfy. Nice shower. Had everything needed - frig, coffee maker. Bonus - a pot to boil water for tea!! The only negative - there were no comfortable chairs to enjoy the lovely porch. There were two uncomfortably looking chairs on one side of entrance for those guests, but not even that on our side. I did enjoy early morning time in the lounge area. Curtain coming undone from rod - needs to be fixed. Purchased a candle to use in my room. Nothing to light with. Found Bic lighter at gas station. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Fantastic location if you really want to take advantage of the quaint part of Ocean Springs.

Hotel is amazing. Great location. Short walk into town and close to beach area. The outside sitting area was nice to sit out and enjoy a nightcap. Have already booked another stay for December.

This property is across between a hotel and an Airbnb. There were no staff on site and you entered your room with a pin number. Provided prior to entry. Our room had a microwave, a small refrigerator and a coffee maker. The bathroom was large with a wonderful rain shower. The room itself opened directly onto the front porch. Some of the rooms inside the property opened into an interior hallway. Parking was a small gravel lot directly outside of the property. The location is wonderful right in the middle of all the shopping and dining options and a very quick walk to the beach. The bed was quite comfortable. There was a little bit of road noise, but not much. It did not bother us. A person, however in the room next to us snored very loudly and we could hear it. That was the only downside.

Could not have had a lovelier stay at The Springs. We loved having a private entrance in the Mistletoe Suite and walking right out our front door into our car. There were some friendly, well cared for neighborhood cats who would always greet us too. The rain head shower, comfortable bed and living area had us feeling very relaxed. Could have stayed for a week!

The Springs hotel was a perfect couple getaway!!! Very clean and beautifully decorated. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

The Springs Hotel is a quaint boutique hotel in the downtown area. The hotel offers contactless check-in with a 4 digit code of your choosing, they were very responsive & helpful with text and email directions. Our room was beautiful decorated, well appointed, and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bath had everything you could possibly need. We would definitely recommend The Springs Hotel!

The staff was very accommodating, room was very stylish, clean, and bed was comfortable. We left later in day and our room was still got cleaned. Enjoyed the place very much, highly recommend!

Beautiful facility, painless check in, attentive housekeeping staff!

The check in was definitely not user-friendly as there is no one at the facility for you to do a check in through. The room smelled musky and moldy. They were dirty linens thrown on the floor behind the chair near the window. The bed had grit in it and hairs unfortunately, spending the amount of money we spent to stay in this boutique motel we will expected a lot higher standard on the cleanliness of the room. I will not give it zeros because I’m not that person, but I will never give it a higher than a three star or anything and I will never stay at it again

Very nice and modern property, convenient location. Street noise in front rooms. Also noise from adjoining rooms.

Our unit was spacious and nicely decorated. The shower was first rate, and plenty large enough.

Liked the uniqueness of the place, felt like a quaint bed and breakfast. Guest book in the room that was a nice touch and allowed you to meet others whobhad visited the hotel. Awesome location, walkable to everything but on a quiet end of the street. As others have said, the almost sky light windows do allow the sun to really shine through in the morning but i sleep in sn eye mask so it wasnt a problem but be prepared. Property very nicely done. Although there was no front desk, there was someone onsite most of the time, and the response was very quick. Would highly recoomend.

Overall we really loved the property, room, and surrounding area. It was not clear that the code to get into the hotel was the same for the room. I also could not remember which room was mine. I attempted to both text and call for further instructions and never received a response. Fortunately, we figured it out. I never saw any employees of the hotel on the property either. The room was beautiful but I don't understand why there are curtains outside of the room that would allow someone to look in. That should be corrected because for two women traveling, we did not feel secure.

Brand new property, super easy check in and very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend with no doubt.

Check-in was terrible. Didn’t receive a door code, arrived at room at 3 pm, called but no answer, left voicemail. Good news was that after 10-15 minutes I did receive a call back from a very pleasant lady who set up my code and was very helpful. Unpleasant part was that while I was on that call I received a voicemail from a man (believe he as at the Roost) who left a rude message saying I had a balance due and would not receive a door code until paid! Note that room was booked and paid in full thru Expedia. I called him back because I was concerned if I left the room I might be locked out. His response was if I have been given a code then don’t worry about it. He offered no explanation about the balance due allegation and did not ask for a credit card or any other information.

Stephanie was awesome in assisting us with switching rooms when air conditioning didn't work. Beautiful room.

When I booked the room on hotels.com it said there would be “champagne service”. No other wording. I guessed that meant we’d have something on arrival at hotel. It’s the one thing they leaned me away from two other high end hotels in Ocean Springs. There was nothing. Messaged the hotel a query on what champagne service was and 5 days later no response. Comfortable room, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom but based on the lack of response from hotel I will make a different choice when I stay in OS next.

Tastefully decorated, the great location was an easy walk to the restaurants and shops. Enjoyed the ambience of the town and surroundings--like being in Mayberry, only near the beach. Loved the coffee and bath amenities. Only thing less than perfect was a glitch using the pin to access our room. Quick phone call (only a couple of minutes) and the new pin worked.

Quiet place to stay and convenient to downtown OS.

Steps from the beach and the cute town of Ocean Springs, the Springs Hotel was the perfect setting for a relaxing, leisurely stay.

This property is the best for a weekend in Ocean Springs. We parked our car Friday night and didn't get back in until we left Sunday morning.

Very pretty in a lovely neighborhood close to dining and shopping.

The Springs Hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel offering very comfortable accommodations in the city with walkability to wonderful shops & restaurants. The location is in tree lined street with an art museum and church across the street! The room that we stayed in (Blue Verdain) was beautifully decorated with a huge walk in shower. The king size bed was like sleeping on a cloud!!

Located perfectly next to Walter Anderson and just on the edge of the downtown area. Low noise! Really loved the oversized shower and room accents. Cant say enough about the folks in the Flower Shop onsite. Two young ladies on two different occasions went out of their way to welcome us and offer advice on check in and the beautiful town of Ocean Springs. It was very much appreciated.
