Lestar Hotel Hanoi

The location was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and new . The breakfast buffet was very good and the hotel added few things things we wanted . We enjoyed very much staying there Thank you Lestar

Very cozy room, nicely designed, bright and clean, all hardware is in good condition, comfy bed, good breakfast on rooftop with open balcony, good location, near Hang Ma street, close to the main road going to the airport direction, will come back

Tout était parfait 👍 super emplacement, personnel top et la chambre impeccable. Petit point négatif les travaux en face de la rue mais le bruit n'est pas dérangeant le matin.

The staff were so kind and helpful! The room was clean, comfortable, and modern. Breakfast had many options to fit everyone's needs but the pho stood out as a must have. The hot water heater had a small tank, but it wasn't a big deal. I'll definitely stay here again when I come back to Ha Noi

Ungeheuer freundliches Personal im ganzen Haus. Sehr zu empfehlen für Leute, die nicht direkt im Gewimmel der (teilweise sehr lauten) Altstadt wohnen wollen und 10 Minuten Fußweg in Kauf nehmen.

Stayed 3 nights. Very nice staff, helpful in everything and answered all questions. Rooms were as expected and sound isoolated despite being in the old quarter.

This rating was not based on the actual hotel or staff itself as the hotel is beautiful with amazing furnished and large rooms, the staff are so helpful and nice and it’s in a great area however the hotel has a couple of serious noise issues going on at the moment. The first one being a new hotel being built on the opposite corner to it which had cement being delivered from 11:30pm till 02:30am one morning which was just rediculous noise and also the construction starts as early as 7am all week so expect to be woken up by it regardless of what rooms you are staying in. Yea this is temporary till the hotel is finished but it is worth noting and I was NOT informed of this work when I booked. The second noise problem which the hotel don’t seem to be able to sort due to no help by the local police is a man who lives across from the hotel who every morning at 6:30am starts to play very very loud music from a speaker out in the street. He proceeds to then just walk up and down the road with his dog. The noise is so loud it will wake you up. It’s like living across the road from a nite club. It’s such a shame as the hotel is amazing and I feel so sorry for the amazing staff as they say the police won’t stop him as they say it’s morning time and not nite time. I wouldn’t stay at the hotel again for these reasons but loved the hotel and everything about it including the amazing breakfast but to not be able to sleep beyond 6:30am is not good enough.

I took the standard room and it was very clean and modern. It is very small and compact, you litterally open the door into the bedroom and there is another door for bathroom. It was very hot when I was there, the A/C wasn't very strong but with the fan on, I could sleep well. The door key is also used to power the room and this is common in many places. So during the day, the room got hot and the fridge, warm. It takes about 20 min for the room to cool down once you put the power back on since it is a small room. There was a power outage in the middle of the night so it got real hot, for about an hour while power was restored. I heard power outages are comon in Hanoi so not the hotel's fault. For the price and location, you can't go wrong. If you want your fridge and room to stay cool during the day, I was told (unfortunately only during checkout) that I could have asked for a second key.

Fabulous hotel on the edge of the old quarter. Easily walkable. Room was quite small but perfect for me as a solo traveller. Breakfast was really good with lots of delicious options. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended

We stayed in the Executive room, large with balcony, very comfortable. Pleasant staff.Will be staying here again!

Was told this hotel is only 6 months old in Mar-2025. No wonder why everything look pristine. The sleeping area cannot be seen from the door entrance. A big PLUS.

I loved this hotel. It was so cute and clean. All the necessities that are needed. The bed was amazing. They have a morning breakfast that was very good. Over the top. Anything you could want. The people that work there are very friendly. Makes you feel like family. Location is great. I didn't want to stay in the Old Quarter. But wanted to be close. Straight down the street about 5 or 6 blocks you get to the old Quarter. Then a little farther and you are at Hoan Kiem Lake. Everything is about a 15 or 20 minute walk from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel. Btw, I am always the person that reads the bad reviews first and then the best and never believes the 5 star reviews. It is exactly what I was hoping all of my hotels this month will be like. So far the only one out of the first 4.

Very nice place with really excellent people at all stations and front desk A perfect companion for a first time visitor to Hanoi, who is somewhat nervous about venturing out on their own Really appreciate shadows to and from Hotel at a very reasonable price Rooms are excellent value in an area that’s pretty close to the center of Hanoi

She even help us to make reservation for our late dinner with a nearby restaurant. Hotel located at a very convenient location in old quarter with short walking distance to night market and Hoan Kiem Lake. Rooms are spacious and clean with good variety of breakfast spread.

Amazing hotel!! Freshly renovated, staff was incredible especially Jenny and GeGe. Jenny helped me with all the excursions reservations. She’s an asset to any organization that she works for. The Breakfast on the 10th floor is Fantastic, great variety of fresh fruit and Pho of course, yes for breakfast.

Lestar may be a 3-star hotel but its staff and service are truly 5 stars! Jenny, Mia and colleagues went above and beyond to make our Hanoi stay a wonderful experience. They helped to organise our itinerary for Sapa and day trips to the surrounding region. Communication is excellent, genuine care was shown for guests comfort. The best part of the hotel is the people. Additionally, breakfast on the rooftop was stellar with a stunning view across the city. During our 6-week trip to Japan and Vietnam, we have stayed at a number of 5-star accommodations and Lestar is up there, a gem we were happy to have stumbled upon for a fraction of the price we paid at other places. Highly recommend for an authentic and local stay in the Old Quarter! Loved it, Chi and Helen

Absolutely brilliant hotel and staff. Frank and Mia were fantastic and helped us so much, they are an absolute credit to the hotel.

I loved my short stay at Lester Hotel Hanoi. Gigi and Jenny made great recommendations to visit the city and to enjoy the local gastronomy. They helped me book tickets for the show at the Water Puppet Theatre. They really made my stay feel very special. The hotel is really beautiful with lots of artwork on the wall, it looks fresh and renovated. The room is comfortable (the one I booked was not very spacious but very functional and pleasant). I liked the room and the bathroom designs. The breakfast is very good with a good selection of local and western options. Remember to try the noodle soup for breakfast! I liked the location, at walking distance from the mural street and from the train street. I like walking, and it was really nice walking to the Old Quarter. Alternatively, I also took Grab easily when I was in a hurry. I also appreciated that the hotel offered a one-pager with tips about Hanoi, like: the art of crossing the street. I would definitely return at Lestar Hotel Hanoi. Highly recommendable.

Recently upgraded rooms, great customer service from the Front Desk “Jenny” is the Best. Helped me with All The Excursions during my trip and on top of That arranged a private Limousine ride back to Hanoi International AirPort. 5 Stars all around. From opening the hotel doors by the bellman to the Breakfast Buffet in the 10th Floor. Spectacular is the word.

Had an amazing stay at the hotel. We mainly dealt with Frank. He worked above and beyond for us so that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Friendly staff, good location

By far my best hotel experience on a holiday taking in Thailand and Vietnam. The staff were all excellent, friendly and impressively efficient. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It’s location in the Old Quarter is perfect too.

Echt Preiswertes und sauberes Hotel. Die lage ist für einen Spaziergang nicht unbedingt ideal.

The neighborhood is typical for Asia so don’t expect clean and quiet.

Great little hotel, we stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of our trip. Good location for less touristy coffee shops, places to eat, and super easy to walk to old town and West lake etc. We were on a high floor so was quite quiet. Staff very helpful and sorted us out with sim cards. Breakfast was mainly western food

Amazing hotel, good location thats walking distance to lake yet not too touristy. Amazing staff who arranged BD cake n surprise for hubby. Hotel in good new condition. Excellent breakfast too.

Wonderful stay, in a perfect location as well and although the road was busy you couldn’t hear a sound from the roads. The buffet breakfast had tons of options and was very tasty. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.

We stayed 9 nights and had the most fabulous time. Everything is in walking distance which made it so much more convenient. Every morning we were looking forward to breakfast, the choice was excellent, the cooked variety was always different and delicious. The staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant from the front desk to the housekeeping.it is absolutely spotless. We had good laughs with the breakfast crew, especially with Trinh,Ngoc,Bin and who could forget Eric and his special coffee!! Also a mention to the chefs behind the scenes,your food was amazing thank you. To any travellers to Hanoi, this is a beautiful little gem and I highly recommend you visit this beautiful Hotel. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.
