The Continental Hotel is a lovely boutique hotel just a block away from the beach. The stay includes in its price an A La Carte breakfast with smoothie bowls, shakshuka, avocado toasts, and other delicious foods. I enjoyed borrowing the complimentary bicycles for a ride along the beach and took advantage of the beach chairs and towels for time by the water. Rides via Lyft and Uber to South Beach were under $7 and always available. The staff was kind and welcoming. For this trip, i travelled solo so that I could participate in a race. The. neighborhood felt safe and was quiet in the evenings, aside from the patio restaurants where visitors enjoyed their meals. The only complaint I have is the usb port on the side table did not work. I was able to buy a plug at the CVS downstairs.

Great hotel with small rooms but has a lot of other things to compensate for it. Breakfast, beach chairs, towels, bikes, and sunscreen available for a daily fee $35. CVS and a restaurant on site which was a great addition. Franco from the front desk was the most helpful and made out stay pleasant. The only downside is - we booked a ocean view option from hotels.com - there is no ocean view and we paid extra for nothing! Plan to go back - no “ocean view” booking next time.

Good area for our needs. Hotel is being renovated and the pool was not available . They did provide an alternative beach pack but loungers only available till5 pm. Would have been good to know this before arrival.

Amazing. Quiet...heard bothing from other guests. Older remodelled building so solidly built. Quiet atretch of MB. Gives beach chairs, towel, mat and sunscreen in carry bag. Unlomted bottles of water. Great breakfast turns into italian place for lunch and dinner. We ordered pizza every day and ate on beach...pizza delicious and under $20. In tourism industry so tough customer. Already planning our return trip!

The room was too small for three people, even though we paid for a triple room. It was not cozy, so we just went in there to sleep. The hotel staff did the bare minimum to make the hotel work. They weren't rude, but not friendly either. The elevator was broken and so were all the treadmills, so amenities there don't mean much. Nothing in this hotel feels like a Hilton hotel, other than the name on the reservation. For the price, I recommend going somewhere else. (Although I need to give credit to the hotel waitress/bartender who was the only one who went above and beyond to make sure we had a good happy hour experience. I forgot her name but she deserves recognition).

This a great location. Close to beach. Very walkable to other scenic areas. Hotel itself quiet. If they can educate people better about how to get to the garage for valet parking that would improve reviews about this hotel. They work with a third party for valet parking and it is pricey, $45 a night.

Everything was very convenient, cvs right next door open 24/7, valet parking 24/7, front desk 24/7, one block from the beach and restaurant right downstairs, continental breakfast with a good selection of food

The hotel was clean and up to date. Upon arriving to the room late in the evening, the room temp was 76. Upon turning down the AC, it climbed up to 78 and almost to 80 before I went to the front desk to ask for help. I was informed the maintenance tech was gone for the night and to give it another hour. At this time is was nearly 1 AM and I was not going to wait an hour so we tried our best to sleep in the 80 degree heat. We woke up to an 82 degree room which was not pleasant, but we had no other option. Wish we could have been moved or assisted somehow.

It was not like the picture was. It sowed the pool outside and the ocean was right passed that. We was not on the ocean. It was a block over. We was told we could see the ocean out our window. Plus on top of paying for roomwe had to pay for parking our car. They came to the room every two days to clean .

The property was absolutely great and well finished. Continental breakfast in the morning was hot and fresh and the pizza restaurant was fresh and tasted great. Franco at the front desk was so helpful and incredibly friendly.

Valet parking was horrible. When we called got the car at 9 am , the desk said 15 mins. It was over an hour and we had to walk to the garage location to retrieve it (4 ppl with our luggage) in order to be on time for our cruise departure.

Great location! Front desk service was so slow. Actually all service was pretty bad. There is no where for you to sit if you get any food that is from outside the property. Even as a guest they don’t allow you to sit by the pool with your food. The only place to east is in your bed. My daughter dropped her glass baby bottle and I asked the maids to clean it up which they did so in a timely manner but they swept the glass onto the carpet in the hallway and never cleaned it up. I was given 2 broken pack n plays and was told they would probably just have to refund my stay as there is no one who can get a functioning one for me even though I requested it 5 days in advanced. Eventually that found one but it was stressful and I felt that the customer service to adjust to the mistake was extremely poor. Definitely understaffed there! Thank goodness for the wonderful location otherwise I would give this place a very poor review. I will not be staying here again.

Great location for everything we wanted and needed - few steps to the north Miami beach, few steps to the free trolli station towards city center and buses to Miami downtown, free trolli station from the city center of Miami beach is located right in front of the hotel. Rent bike station located next to the hotel. Great pizzeria in the hotel - we tried it! 24/7 CVS store on the corner of the hotel. Nice bakery shop also nearby. Good breakfast and coffee, tea, water all day/night. Very kind staff at the reception. We strongly recommend this hotel for exploring Miami beach.

Like others have said, the hotel is close to the beach and trolley stops are just outside. Our room was next to the elevator but never heard anyone getting on or off. The room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful! Breakfast was good, but noticed there was meat (beef empanada) served only 1 of the 4 mornings we were there. The hotel is still under renovations, but didn't seem to interfere with our stay and comfort. I would reccommend getting new mattresses, as ours (king) was sunken in, in the middle and caused back pain.

This hotel underwent recent renovations. The rooms are clean and updated. The room we stayed in could have used another nightstand and or chair as a king sized bedroom may have 2 people who want to put their things down while laying in bed. The room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. There's a 24 hour CVS in the lobby which was super great when we needed a snack or sunscreen. Very short walk to the beach and path that runs along the whole beach. The only drawback was the breakfast was lacking, but the coffe was outstanding. There are several good, easy restaurants right around there that made quick eating very easy.

Honestly, this hotel is a gem! out of the many hotels in the surrounding area, this one is 'bang for your buck' ... their breakfast in the morning was fulfilling with an abundance of choices. The pizza restaurant in the lobby is amazing! this hotel is very clean and right by the beach, less than 5 min walk across the street. We would highly recommend this hotel, the only downside that i see is if you rented a vehicle, parking would be a nightmare,,but i think that is mainly in miami beach area because of limited space, not the hotel's fault

You get 15 dollars a day to use to the restore fees. If you don’t use it per day you loss it. We came to the hotel at 9:30. We could not use our 15 dollars because everything was closed including the bar. They will not allow you to apply it the next day even though you could not spend it. If you do spend it on one 10 dollar drink they charge a service charge of at least 4 dollars not covered by the 15 dollars and request a tip on top of that. The drinks are poured from a machine not even hand made.
