Hotel Croydon

Great for a one night stop-over before sailing. Front desk staff were very accommodating.

Incredibly disappointed about our stay. From the duct taped air conditioning unit, to the hair on the sink and offensive smell through out the building there was constant disappointment. Staff walked in to my room twice with out knocking. We were repeatedly lied to about our 2nd room being ready. The shower had mold around the edges. How this is rated so highly is shocking! My pros- the bed was incredibly comfortable and they gifted a bottle of prosecco upon arrival. If you are looking for a youth hostel, this is your place.

Great hotel, very clean, staff amazing and a fantastic location.

The hotel is a lovely hotel. It's not a big brand name, but it is lovely. It's pool area is very nice. It's restaurant is fantastic. The staff were very good. The beach is across the street. We took the free trolley across the street to the Ventura Mall, it took 45 minutes. Great property!!

Our stay was disappointing. We found a cockroach in our room, which was very concerning. The hotel only refunded $37 of the resort fee, which felt insufficient. The bathroom was also in poor condition. Some of the ceramic moldings were broken and when we took showers, water leaked out and formed a large puddle on the bathroom floor. Since we were four people staying in the room for one night, we had to deal with this several times. The staff also seemed uninterested in helping, both at the front desk and at the restaurant. It’s unfortunate because the location is good, but overall the experience was disappointing.
