Absolutely beautiful hotel/beach views. The restaurants were wonderful. It definitely was a perk to have club Liv in the hotel. We had no idea until we checked in. The only complaint we had was the pool closed at 7:30pm. The sun was still out!

Although is a beautiful and clean property the service is not great. They all have an attitude. Everything is extremely pricey and food is not great for the price you pay. Valet is 85$ per day and they take forever to bring your car. Again the attitude is like if you are not paying for the services. Ive been to cheaper hotels that have way better service and amenities.

This is a great resort. It’s huge - a true resort. High-end but not pretentious. It’s very popular, don’t come for solitude unless you like to be alone surrounded by people. I didn’t see anyone not having a good time, everyone was friendly and nice. Families, couples, friends, an everyone kind of place. It’s crowded but you can find a space you like to hang out for the day, beach or poolside. The facilities are high quality and very clean, always busy in the lobby. The staff are friendly and helpful, and not hard to find. Extra’s like cabanas and beach beds were priced too high for me and maybe a lot of others, many were empty. Gym is enormous with new looking equipment, and included! Spa is $$$ but big and spotless, they were happy to give a tour. Drinks are pricey but very good. The Italian restaurant had excellent food. You’ll need a ride to explore off property, but lots to do not far away, one vibe south another vibe north. Or just stay there, so many different shops and restaurants to go to. My room on bayside was quiet with quality furnishings and a great city view with fantastic sunsets. Elevators are busy but ample, short waits my entire visit. There may be places that are more exclusive but this was just perfect for me. Can’t wait to visit the property in Vegas.

Seems to attract bachelor or bachelorette type groups or maybe that was just the case when we were there. Also, we used the rentable bikes. The instructions were not clear and there was no one to assist. You have to use your credit card to book and apply a code for the two hour credit. However it wasn’t clear in the app how to apply the code and we got charged for the bikes. Since it’s not affiliated with the hotel, we couldn’t get our money back.

it was impossible to get a chair by the pool on saturday. Half the people did not have bands. I know that the hotel needs to make money, but paying the absorbent hotel fees for not getting a pool chair is not cool. As well, our roomdid not get cleaned. when we reported it, they said they woulld come, and when we got back from night outstill not cleaned

There was a used condom on the floor in our room. Notified front desk manager which took over 2 hours and for me to notify front desk a second time before someone came to our room to remove. She was not very apologetic and offered minimal credit to room/stay. Not to mention the food is over priced and subpar. Will not be back even if it were free.

Things were alright overall, but for the price we paid, I definitely expected more. Friends of mine found a cockroach in their room, though to the hotel’s credit, they were moved to a different room quickly. Still, it was an unsettling start. Around the hallways, there was noticeable hair and debris on the floor—not what you'd expect from a place of this caliber. Our own room had multiple issues with the bathroom, and we had to call maintenance three or four times during our stay. They did respond and eventually fixed the problems, and we received some compensation, which was appreciated—but it still took time away from what was supposed to be a relaxing experience. In short, the service was responsive, but the overall cleanliness and maintenance were lacking. For the price and reputation of the Fontainebleau, I was left disappointed.

When we entered the room, the sheets were dirty and the floor littered. The room was not done. we had to leave the room for 3 hours so they could redo the room. Very unpleasant experience after driving 3.5 hours of driving to get to Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Then, the evening before we checked out, someone stole the phone and an expensive beach towel from poolside beds. Zero security despite claims that it was a secure 5-star hotel.

For a “5 Star hotel” this sure is rough. Hallways are all scratched up. When I arrived to the room there were stains on the carpet floor, hair in the shower. Requested to change rooms due to uncleanliness and it’s took hours. Once I was placed in another room after buying the one with an ocean front view I was stuck behind a palm tree with no view. Very disappointed at this stay.

Stunning oceanfront view with balcony and amazing beach access. Nice enough room but the Chateau building is clearly older and the shower water was luke warm at best. All very clean though. The property is otherwise beautiful inside and out with very helpful and friendly staff. Food and drink on property is extremely expensive. I spent more on that than I did the room nights and that was for one adult and a child with no alcohol at all.

I upgrade my room for extra money and at 1am in the morning the ac unit located on the roof started leaking and when I came out of the bathroom I fell hard on the ceramic floor. They send a guy to fixed it and two guys to fill up an accident report, 10 minutes later the ac started leaking again so they moved us to another room but not an apology or anything from management

Overall it is nice and huge property. The pool area is great with easy access to the beach. The property, carpets and rooms are dated. Unfortunately, we had a horrible check in process. It took close to an hour with multiple times going up and down the elevator. The hotel lobby, elevators, coffee shop, and bar was packed with convention attendees. Way too many people in the lobby everyday. I am not sure why they all hangout in the lobby and not in the convention area.

The bathroom was the smallest bathroom of any hotel I have ever stayed in. The tower we were in felt dated and much lower quality than the rest of the hotel. The hotel was darn near impossible to get around in, very confusing lay out. For the price I expected a lot more.

We were forced to use public facilities in the lobby until we demanded a room change. The second room also failed basic expectations, with no reliable hot water. Housekeeping further breached guest privacy by entering without knocking, even with a “Do Not Disturb” sign in place. •Severely Lacking Service & Cleanliness: The property’s maintenance and organization were shockingly poor. Room service was consistently delayed, the pool and beach areas were chaotic and unsanitary, and overall conditions fell far below what guests should reasonably expect at any reputable hotel. •Serious Safety Failure: The most alarming incident occurred in the lobby bar, where my phone was stolen. When I immediately reported this to security, their response was dismissive and ineffective. Only after I insisted on police involvement and reviewing camera footage did staff lower the music volume, leading to the discovery of my phone in the pocket of the individual I had already identified. This person—clearly intoxicated and disruptive—was neither removed from the premises nor cut off from alcohol service. Allowing such behavior to continue endangered guests and created a threatening environment, particularly for women. Horrible experience.

I’ve stayed at fountainbleu in Vegas and was expecting the same quality and size of rooms. This hotel is older, but for over $400 per night I would expect more. The bathrooms were tiny and only one of us could get ready at a time and even then the space was very small The shower was hard to get in and out of and very confined. We paid for an ocean view however in order to see the ocean you had to stand in front of the window and look all the way to the side to even see anything. I would save your money and skip staying here.

Dear Fontainebleau Management, I recently stayed at your hotel for four nights and overall had a wonderful experience. However, I’m writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the valet service on Saturday night, which unfortunately caused me to miss an important event. Despite requesting my vehicle well in advance, I waited over an hour for the valet to bring it around. This delay caused me to miss the event entirely, which was extremely upsetting and frustrating, especially given the caliber of your property and the expectations I had based on prior visits. While I was refunded the $70 valet fee, I do not feel that this adequately addressed the inconvenience or the impact of the experience. I frequently visit Miami—at least once a month—and have always considered Fontainebleau a top option for my stays. However, the way this situation was handled has left me feeling disappointed and hesitant to return. I truly hope you’ll take this feedback seriously and consider a more meaningful gesture of goodwill. The place is too big. They don’t have enough staff to support the guest so they feel taken care of. When I checked in at 8 PM and there weren’t a lot of guest arriving it’s still took over an hour of me waiting in my room and calling three times to get my luggage and I was supposed to meet friends to go out. I called for a room service. It also took over two hours and many calls. Anytime I needed anything. It took forever. The last day I was there, I asked for a late checkout which they agreed to, but when I returned to pack my stuff and still had two hours left, they had locked me out of my room. I called and explained that I had late checkout. They said they would bring another key and let me back into my room. It took an hour and 20 minutes and 10 calls to get someone to finally let me back into my room and missed my Spa appointment. I had also a special credit That they gave when I arrived and I used that for partial payment for my spa treatment. However, they still charge my card full price and never gave me the credit despite twice going to the front desk and having them fix it I still see it on my credit card! Way too big as they can’t manage their clientele, which is a shame as the pool area and spa are very nice.

This was my second time and last time staying at Fontainebleau. I checked in on Friday evening and there was so many issues during the check in process. First the key they gave me was not working to get into the room. My partner and I kept going up and down to the front desk to get new keys only to find out it was the sensor on the door not working. When we get into the room, it was a bay view room. So we had to go back down AGAIN to the front desk to complain about this. When we go to the front desk, they say that the room we paid for OVER A MONTH before check in was already taken. So the lady at the front desk says that they will “upgrade” us to an oceanfront suite but it is on the third floor. We get to the room and the view sucks and there are trees outside our balcony so there was absolutely no view. Lastly, the room was not even properly clean. There was still the old keys from whoever stayed there before and nipple covers in the shower as seen in the picture. We called the front desk to complain and they said they would send someone ASAP to come clean the room. This person did not come until the next day in the afternoon. We paid so much for this stay and it was below average. There are many newer resorts in Miami with better service. Prepare to be hit with ridiculous fees too.

I have waited for days regarding an overcharge on my CC. I had a $75 credit that I was told was applied by Kay on 8/14. I have talked to several people including Evelyn, Kay, Natalie, Emma and Jules. Also while in the hotel Wayliana assured me that I had four breakfasts included in the stay. My daughter called on the morning of Aug 4 and was told breakfast goes until noon. Upon arrival at the restaurant we were told the buffet would end in ten minutes. Very bad customer service. I would fight this $228 fee even if it wasn't included. Most staff were rude especially the desert store. They were laughing at our face. It was on first time there and we didn’t feel welcome. I played for a bay view with balcony and I received instead a room facing to the air conditioning system. We couldn’t sleep because of the noise of the system. Our stay was cool but we Ike to go the beach at night. It was very inconvenient that we did not have hotel access when we went to the beach at night. That is something very sentimental to us. We like to walk the beach at night. We had to walk around the building to one of the main entrances, that was very inconvenient and uncomfortable.

Stunning oceanfront view with balcony and amazing beach access. Nice enough room but the Chateau building is clearly older and the shower water was luke warm at best. All very clean though. The property is otherwise beautiful inside and out with very helpful and friendly staff. Food and drink on property is extremely expensive. I spent more on that than I did the room nights and that was for one adult and a child with no alcohol at all.

This is a great resort. It’s huge - a true resort. High-end but not pretentious. It’s very popular, don’t come for solitude unless you like to be alone surrounded by people. I didn’t see anyone not having a good time, everyone was friendly and nice. Families, couples, friends, an everyone kind of place. It’s crowded but you can find a space you like to hang out for the day, beach or poolside. The facilities are high quality and very clean, always busy in the lobby. The staff are friendly and helpful, and not hard to find. Extra’s like cabanas and beach beds were priced too high for me and maybe a lot of others, many were empty. Gym is enormous with new looking equipment, and included! Spa is $$$ but big and spotless, they were happy to give a tour. Drinks are pricey but very good. The Italian restaurant had excellent food. You’ll need a ride to explore off property, but lots to do not far away, one vibe south another vibe north. Or just stay there, so many different shops and restaurants to go to. My room on bayside was quiet with quality furnishings and a great city view with fantastic sunsets. Elevators are busy but ample, short waits my entire visit. There may be places that are more exclusive but this was just perfect for me. Can’t wait to visit the property in Vegas.

My guests and I really liked the access to several restaurants in the hotel and the walkable restaurants outside of the hotel. The only con was our last two days, some of the staff were pretty rude/had bad customer service when it came to answering simple questions. I get it was hot out and you’re trying to close up the beach/ pool area but they acted as if they couldn’t be bothered with us. I would like to shout out the staff in the Chez Bon Bon cafe! Absolutely beautiful hotel/beach views. The restaurants were wonderful. It definitely was a perk to have club Liv in the hotel. We had no idea until we checked in. The only complaint we had was the pool closed at 7:30pm. The sun was still out!

3 night Girlfriend’s birthday with 15 sixty- something year old party girls attending. Staff friendly and helpful. Lobby gorgeous and historic. Room similar to most Doubletree ( without the free cookie and bottle of water) or Marriott 3 star rooms except the shower pressure was a dribble. The refrigerator wasn’t usable to put leftovers or my bottled water in bc of all the sensors. But the PRICES! Omg! We were shocked- $72. for 2 regular vodka martinis, $8. For a glass of Diet Pepsi and bottles of Fiji water are $5. Or $10. ( small or large.) The nail clippers in the little shop were $321. ( identical pair $1.97 from Amazon.) I don’t mind paying for quality or an experience but this was next level sticker shock.

Facilities excellent as well as service and rooms. Price of drinks by the pool were a little over the top as was the extortionate rates for parking in the garage. Air con in the restaurant for breakfast was actually uncomfortably cold. Overall we had a great time, could have been perfect.
