Friendly, accommodating & helpful staff.

I really liked the resturant/bar at the hostel, really good food

The hostel and services are very well organized, the staff is very friendly, it is a big hostel and therefore many people uses the premises and sometimes there are issues, overall it is a good place to stay if you want to save a lot of money while in Cairns

Friendly staffs, lots of facilities like bikes, cutlery sets, shuttle bus to the city, towels, and etc provided for free! Especially great for the backpackers :) One drawback is that since the kitchen is located outside, it is not maintained super clean but it was okay too! Not very close to the city but the shuttle runs every 30 mins and the botanic garden, which I really loved, was around so I liked the location too

I've only stayed 2 nights but so far the staff has been friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable and the bath is clean. Free service transportation. It wasn't loud and not quiet, perfect if you want a good night's sleep but also want to socialize.
