The family that owns and manages the property is sweet and polite. The property is undergoing a renovation to the pool, so a little messy. However, the remodeled rooms are perfect! We stayed a week and loved it! The location for its access to downtown and the beach were perfect. We had the chance to walk everywhere while our car was kept safe in the lot on site. We had a wonderful time here. A great value for the money. (clean, safe and close to downtown and the beach.)

Booked last minute for a holiday weekend. Only thing near the boardwalk that was under 500/night. for over 300/night it was definitely not worth that cost. The pool was dirty (bandages and other debris floating in it) freezing cold, not heated at all. If the pool was a little heated and cleaner I would find the cost to be OK. the room was clean, but the whole building looks and feels like it is going to fall down. Parking is TIGHT. Owner said 24 rooms and 24 spaces to park. A couple cars parked where there weren't designated space though. Back into a spot or you will have difficulty getting out.

It is close to the Boardwalk. You can walk there . The parking is tight and you need to be careful you don’t get blocked in . The manager is nice and will help you with any needs . Very busy area

The air conditioning really didn’t cool the room . It was nicer outside than in the room. Had to open the window to cool the room. The parking is terrible , but a great location to go to the boardwalk. The pool was dirty and looked like it had algae.

Staff was good. Special thanks to the manager Mr Dave. He helped me get out of a tough spot when my car was blocked in there parking lot. That said parking is available but some are awkwardly positioned and tight fitting. Building needs maintenance and updating. Our room lacks furniture but clean. Best about this motel is location. Located aprox 2 blocks from the boardwalk.

The front desk staff were very kind and accommodating for our late check-in. The room was spotless. You can tell the room was beautifully upgraded from floor to ceiling as well as the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and surroundings were clean & quiet. Breakfast was simple(fruit, cereal, granola bars, tea & coffee) but perfect to tie us over til we went out to brunch. We will definitely be back again.

Location is great you are right by the boardwalk. However, cleanness needs major work. The room was extremely stinky and humid. The bathrooms did not feel clean at all maybe they cleaned with dirty rags? It’s as if the shower curtains aren’t changed. Parking is terrible, first come first serve bases and it’s extremely cramped DO NOT PARK ON THE STREET, you will get towed. As we were leaving we seen 4 vehicles getting towed around 6:30a.m for parking on the street. You are best booking directly to the hotel to avoid 3rd party fees. Lastly if you are passing through and need a couple hours rest I guess maybe ask for another room if you check in earlier than we did.

Door has a big gap you can see all the light outside. Too noisy. Bathrooms need more cleaning sink has a lot of mold around it. Pillows were horrible.

A/C only blows outside air, probably needs recharge, and the unit was filthy. Room was very stuffy and you can't open windows. No drapes, wood shutters don't close tight so excessive light at bed time. Road/traffic noise outside very loud so hard to get to sleep. Bathroom shower black mold. Ice machine broken, juice machine broken, soda machine broken. Location near the boardwalk though if you can put up with the above. After we left, the manager added a $5.70 charge to our cc although we fully paid through Orbitz. I called and he said that was a mistake and he would take it off.

Breakfast was old, stale. Room was dirty. Water smelled horrible. Noisy from traffic and other people staying at the hotel late at night. Parking was horrible, no room for all the cars. Over priced for such a horrible place to stay.

The hotel sits on a busy road, so you can hear all the noise from the bikers, trucks, etc. There is no soundproofing at all! At night, we could hear the sound of neighbor's TV, at 5 am - seagulls. But what is absolutely the worst is their beds! They have metal frames and some sort of metal springs that make a loud noise every time you sit down, get up or turn in bed. The worst hotel we have ever experienced.

Check-in and customer service was great! The beds were hard -- didn't sleep well. I do wish there was a place to hang clothes. If I was staying for longer than a couple nights, I probably wouldn't stay here -- like to hang clothes up. Also the sink faucet sprays on to you, if you don't turn it on slowly and watch carefully. Shower was great! Overall, great stay and location.

I liked that the hotel was right down the street from the boardwalk and for a great price. Only thing that I did not like was there was only 3 available channels on our tv when it was time to lay down and rest so we couldn’t watch anything interesting. It’s a good hotel though.

This is a very old motel. The wi-fi didn't work 1/2 the time we were there. Room keycard required multiple attempts to open the door. Not enough parking slots. When we checked out we asked for a receipt and was told that if we wanted a receipt we'd have to ask Expedia.

The room is large and very clean. However, there was nowhere to hang clothes. There were other malfunction issues that we reported to the owner, and she is eager to fix them when we leave. She said the cleaners do not always report those little issues. Other than that, we had a great time.

When I returned from working on my dad's estate documents, I found my door wide open and the manager in the adjacent room. I attempted to ask him why the door was open and why my belongings had been gone through without my knowledge. The bed had been stripped, and my belongings were clearly looked into. I had not returned the room key to the box as instructed. When I asked him why he was in my room, he told me it was because I was leaving. I questioned why he didn’t ask me first, especially since my things were still there. All he had to do was say there had been a miscommunication and ask about my plans. Instead, he ran away from me. I left and stayed next door at the Comfort Inn, which had a much better room!

The man who checked us in was so above exceptional, he checked us in an hour early and was so helpful for information, The hotel was very clean and we felt very welcomed. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

The key to the door never worked. We kept on going back to the front desk to get them rekeyed. Just was very annoyed. Plus they wouldn’t split the bill with my friend and I. The gentleman didn’t understand. I wouldn’t come back.

Although the guy who checked us in was great… the area was sketchy…. There were prostitutes in the middle of the night and some lady screaming for 2 hours. There is no security so we were leery about leaving our car in the parking lot. A lot of homeless. It’s not worth saving the extra $100… we should have stayed at the Marriott across the street. They have locked and covered parking and gated.

Stayed one night here. Check in was ok and the room was fine bit the air-con noisy. Only a few minutes walk to the Broadwalk for the attractions and places to eat. Downside was no breakfast the next morning.

It was not the advertised property at all. The pictures were a much nicer property that appeared cleaner and newer. It advertised a light continental breakfast that turned out to be a granola bar, or Twinkies. The proximity to the boardwalk was nice.

The check-in was easy and check-out seamless. The breakfast was great - waffles, toast, cereal, coffee, juice. Everything was great, and the room was very clean. AC worked just fine, and we slept very well - nice and quiet on a Saturday night. What more could you want?

Rooms were nice and clean, AC didn’t work in one room but the other one was fine. Luckily it’s cooler at night so it wasn’t bad. Breakfast was just wrapped bars. Like fig newton. Coffee.not sure what else I just glanced at it checking out.The walk to boardwalk was easily less than 10 min. Good amount of parking spaces,Pool was open but didn’t get in. Overall great stay for the price! And the staff was pleasant

Breakfast was a disappointment. One waffle maker, some cereal, and some packaged pastries on a short counter beside the check-in desk. Barely room for two people. Not worth the wait.
