SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Quanah

Place was clean, comfortable bed, nice couch, carpet in the room needed replacing. Furniture in lobby was in great condition. Pool looked ok, was not execting the hot tub to be cemented in tho. Over all nice.

Staff was amazing. Hot tub was filled in with concrete (unappealing).

Though the breakfast was a bit meager in options and several people waited for food to be replenished, I think we all understood the woman preparing the food was doing 3 jobs at once. The man at check in desk gave us bottled waters because juice machine was broken. Rooms were clean and staff was nice. Parking lot needed better lighting. Light posts at side parking lot were not on at night.

I should of suspected something when I saw the condition of the parking lot--Covered with dirt and gravel and unmowed grass areas. At check in found out that the electronic key system was not working (had been out for weeks) and the desk clerk had to walk you to your room to let you in every time you left the room. Mens restroom on the first floor was out of order. When I took a shower the towel I took off of the rack was so worn it had 2 huge holes in it. Will not stay there again. Do not understand how it keeps its Best Western connections.

The room was nice and comfortable and clean. Bathroom could use some updating. Beds were comfortable. But they advertised a pool and it was not working. Super disappointing to our kids. Breakfast was good.

No room key maker. Had to use master key, All ice makers broken, old towels and everything outdated!

There is no vending in "vending" labeled areas. Had to leave that hotel to buy a bottle of water.

This property is run down, receptionist had to let us in our room the key card machine didn’t work. The room smelled musky and moldy, the A/C made loud noises most of the night. No waffle Maxine at breakfast gravy

Pool was closed, looked like it was used for storage now. Funky smell throughout. Found big hair ball on the floor, I doubt they vacuum. Didn’t have water at breakfast. Overall disappointing but not the worst.

Card machine did not work for the door so I didn't get a key card carpet was wet over by the window area around the air conditioner .smells like mold .refrigerator didn't work ice machine broke .they are raping this place for all it's worth riding it out to the last nickel. Spend some money and fix this place or bulldoze it.

The room was not vaccuumed. Long black hair in the bathroom.

It’s just an old hotel that needs updated. The halls smelt bad and our bathroom was dirty. Our bedding was clean though and the hostess was very nice

The front staff was not friendly. The carpet in the room had oily stains throughout. The air conditioner was noisy and sounded like a freight train. Slight odor when entering the room. The bed linens were clean and smelled good as did the towels and wash cloths. But, the rooms need som upgrading.

From the moment we drove up, I knew it was a mistake. The sign was more than weathered and tattered if that is possible. The pictures were deceiving as to what the real aesthetics look like. But we were exhausted from driving and remained hopeful. On check in I asked about the hot tub so I could soak my sore muscles only to find there isn’t one. At that time is when I noticed that the breakfast area was more than small, but checked in anyway. We went to our room only to find that it reeked of marijuana. This is a no smoking motel. The only other room they had to give us was upstairs by the elevator that could only be accessed with a regular long key. We were not given a key to go back-and-forth. We would’ve had to go to the desk to get back in our room. All these were huge red flags for a women traveling with a child. But after 12+ hours of driving, I just wanted to sleep. The bathroom had mold around the shower seams/caulking, but the tub was clean. I pulled back the covers of the bed to find it looked clean except they were rough like sandpaper. So we barricaded the door and went to sleep and text family know exactly where we were. The air was cool but not cold. Needless to say we got up early and left. I do want to add that the poor young man that was on duty that night when we showed up after 9 o’clock did his best to accommodate us considering the situation that he was dealt; as far as trying to find room. He was kind and empathetic to our plight and apologized a lot

The hotel lacked personality. It had a motel by the hour smell and feel. The amount I paid for this stay was very unrealistic. The rooms were nasty and the bathroom was even worst. The breakfast, or lack thereof, was nothing worth mentioning. I had no choice but to stay there and learned my lesson!

The room was fine and seemed clean, however, there was a bad musky odor that was almost unbearable. The service staff was courteous and kind.

Smelly dirty

We got a non-smoking room. This room smelled like cigarettes. There were dogs that were barking constantly in a room across from us, it smelled like dog pee in the hall way. I am not sure that the room was vacuumed and the bathroom was NOT clean. There were bugs and cherry pits on the ground in the bathroom. I had to hold my breath when walking in the hallways of the hotels 2nd floor because it smelled so bad of dog pee and cigarettes. Thankfully i had brought a pillow that my husband and I shared, but after we left the hotel the pillow and blanket smelled like cigarettes i guess from being in the room overnight. 10/10 would not recommend. The guy in the morning when checking out asked how my stay was, and i told him the truth. He told me that just that morning they took over management 🙄 i did not take pictures because i wanted to get out of there ASAP and forgot.

Our room wasn’t even cleaned from the last party that stayed. There was pet food left on the floor and the dirty towel and washcloths slung over the shower. The breakfast was horrible. It was very limited, and the food in the packages, like the oatmeal and butter, were rancid and spoiled.

Room was what I expected. Clean and comfortable. I would certainly stay there again.

The bed was very firm but not unpleasantly so and I appreciated the plethora of pillows. Was able to take a very nice shower and not run out of hot water. One minor thing - no juice available for breakfast Overall, very pleased and will stay again when I visit Quanah.

I have stayed here a few times. It would be nice if the pool/spa would be repaired. It has never been operable during my stays. The noise on the 2nd floor on the south side from Hwy is 287 is absurd. I understand they have no control of traffic but there seems to be no noise dampening effort made. I have a 3 night stay currently booked and plan to change to Vernon although the cost is greater.

The room is nice but the bathroom toilet is really low for an elderly person. It appears to be lower than most public bathrooms.

Great room, clean and modern. Front desk very accommodating.

The linens on the bed had a lot of hair on it. Felt like they do not regularly change and wash the sheets. Also, the internet was extremely slow. I could barely get any work done.

Booked hotel in wrong town and they were inconsiderate and refused to refund my stay. I will never stay here and give a penny more to such rude hateful people.

Staff was extremely helpful changing my date and friendly.

We were a group of 20 from Dallas for stargazing at Copper Break. The front lady was very nice for letting us to use the breakfast area for our needs. Some members has a problem with the rooms but they exchange the room with no problem. We will be back.

My stay was very nice. The staff wss extremely courteous and helpful!

I stayed here on a stop while traveling. The staff were very friendly and professional. I left a bag in the bathroom when I checked out. They called me within 15 minutes to let me know. The only reason I marked “Good” on a couple of things is because it seems to be an older hotel that still needs a little love. This didn’t bother me, though. Overall, I was pleased.

The room was clean and roomy. The staff was professional and extremely courteous.

The service was good. People greeted us. The room was clean but the bathroom towels were dirty and old.

This hotel is always great to stay in when we are in town visiting family. It is clean and in excellent location to things needed.

Very small town with people walking around the property all hours of the night.

For the location it was fine. it's not a fancy hotel but it was clean I didn't see any bugs there were no loud guest. I would stay again. The staff were friendly. It appears to be in the process of renovation so it may be fancier in the future but it was clean and the staff were nice.

Star gazing at Copper Breaks State Park. I should have camped out saved money. Hotel not worth the price, too outdated.

Any type of dining is very limited in this town.

Breakfast was a joke first time staying at a sure stay we travel and probably stay at motels 70 percent of the year and this hands down was the worst breakfast ever

It seemed like they had all the components of a bewst western, but they hadn't put them together. Breakfast was met with out of order signs everywhere. There was nothing to drink. They gave a man juice from a machine with an out of order sign in it when he said he couldn't drink coffee. Then asked him if it was cold. When he asked how long it has been there the response was "a while". They had oatmeal and tea, but no hot water. Indoor pool and hot tub were out of order despite showing them as amenities on the site. Bed was reasonably comfortable however. Not worth the money.

Comfy bed and decent breakfast made for a pleasant stay

Heating/air conditioning system was very loud so we could not run it to keep warm and sleep. Asked for a different room but the clerk said she was booked full up. Breakfast was not ready at 6:30, no scrambled eggs. No biscuits or bacon.

Breakfast was disappointing. I went down at 6:10 and there weren’t any eggs. I got coffee and it was cold so it must have been from the night before. Went back down a little later and still no eggs. Both times I asked about availability and told they would replenish. I ate breakfast and checked again. No eggs. Staff not rude, but not helpful either. Room was clean, so no problem there. Convenient area.

Rooms were nice but breakfast was awful only had runny eggs and nasty saucage with a hard biscuit no drinks at all just coffee and water and no waffles or pancakes the cereal was stale it was just not good 😐 worst breakfast we have had at a best Western
