I love the relaxing atmosphere at the Gulfcoast Inn. Great pool and tiki area.

The pool requires maintenance.

It's been about a year since I last visited the property. Before, there was more life, they played music in the pool, the pool was cleaner and better maintained, and the place had more guests.

When we first checked in we were very impressed. The room was large, the property has 3 restaurants and a tiki bar. The pool looked very nice. I really wanted to give a 5 star rating but the pool......there was a bad smell in the water and the temperature was more like a jacuzzi. It was literally the hottest pool I have ever been in. I realize we are in FL but this waa crazy. Other than that, this place is a great place to stay and close to the beaches and the shopping district.

Great having restaurants so close. Didn’t like outsiders using pool.

Situated on a very busy road. Able to walk to some local conveniences on same side of road but difficult to cross to other side. Limited choices for breakfast. OK for a couple of days but not everyday. Gates around the pool do not close, so could be a safety issue for people with small children. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bartenders at Harold’s and Tami at Vesuvio’s are awesome! Good onsite food options too! Can get a little loud at night but for the price you pay to stay very good value in general - great location central to everything

The courtyard was fantastic with a pool in the center with plenty of loungers and tiki bar and restaurants to choose from. The staff at breakfast was super.

Desk clerks are very polite and attentive. Rooms clean and pool . Very social atmosphere at the whole facility.

The motel had a couple of good restaurants in it, Fujiyama and Harold's. It was clear that a lot of people that did not stay at the motel came by for Harold's as it was always busy. The pool area was always busy as well. Pretty sure a number of people that usede the pool were not motel guests. I should have read things closer as the beds are in fact only double beds, not queen size. It does state double beds on the description so it was something i overlooked. The mattresses were extremely soft so it made for three nights of terrible sleeps. The rooms wre relatively clean. We did find a cockroach in the shower one morning but that was the only one. Bugs can be expected in this climate so it was not really a concern on my part. The breakfast area was small but had the essentials. Was abe to find a table when needed. The staff were friendly, especially the one lady looking after the breakerfast area. She was great!

The staff was super friendly, but the room was uncomfortable. The bed frame was loud and the mattress was sunken in. The shower areas had a used body wash bottle, making me think it was not cleaned properly.

Hotel is as expected for a budget hotel. Room had lots of ghost ants, but I know those are hard to treat, and there was a strong musty smell. Pool area and free breakfast both nice.

We love this hotel and have been frequent visitors because the staff and pool are great. However, our recent stay at Gulfcoast Inn was disappointing. Our room had mold on the ceiling, flickering lights, and a non-functional toilet. In the morning, we discovered a winged bug infestation and cockroaches in the sink, which made the experience quite unpleasant, especially with a child. Although the landscaping was well maintained, the pool had multiple floating bandaids during our entire two-day stay without being addressed. Additionally, locals walking into the pool area from the parking lot raised concerns as we were instructed to use specific wristbands. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance issues overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay.

The bathroom had something red growing in the corner. This was my view from the toilet. The place is gross.

I've stayed at this property for about 7 years. And it's just getting dirtier and unclean. Pool usually vacuumed every morning, it was not. There is a small Tiki hut where they prepare food and cook. Every morning they clean this place out and brush it onto the concrete patio by the pool and drain it there. The smell is horrendous. I used to enjoy this place but it is just getting filthy... The rooms and the property.

The cleaning was horrible it was mold on the bathrooms and sinks no properly cleaned!

My visit at this hotel was over he St. Patrick's Day Parade weekend, which is always a busy time for Naples. The breakfast was disappointing. It only included toast, bagels, waffles, cereal, apples, yogurt, juice and coffee/tea. The bed was not real comfortable. A nightstand along with an electrical outlet existed on only one side of the bed. This was slightly problematic, as both my partner and I use CPAP machines for sleeping. I was glad that I carry an extension cord when I travel, and I put a chair by the bed to serve as a makeshift nightstand for placing the CPAP. The shower was adequate with a very cheap shower head and a rubber shower mat was a bit skimpy. We had asked for a shower chance when we made the reservation, and told us upon check-in that one would be delivered to the room, but they apparently forgot. All in all, I would not stay there again, unless I had no other alternative.

To be expected with a bit of an older property but the room smelled very musty. I sat on the couch and got up immediately because it smelt like mildew. My clothes from the trip smelt like this for a good two washes after I got home.. could be my sensitivity to smell. Overall the Inn was nice... the pool and restaurant looked fun although I was there on business so I didn't get to visit either. Staff at the front desk were nice. I did have a grounds worker outside my door talking extremely loud at 9:30pm for about 30-40 minutes. I had to call the front desk and he left after about 15 minutes after I hung up with them so they did take care of the issue. Overall, good place for a short stay or if you're looking for a "cheaper & decent" option in Naples.

The hotel atmosphere was very good. Staff and customers were very happy and friendly. The building is an older Florida style, 2 story, with larger rooms. Our was on the back side which was quiet, but the wifi wasn’t as strong as it was on the pool side. This should be an easy fix for the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean with a small kitchenette, ( full fridge, microwave, cabinets, sink), however it had zero plates, utensils, cups, etc. The other odd thing was a sink in the spacious shower. A little strange. The Tiki style poolside bar call Harold’s place was great. Great Vibe which, served good, reasonable priced food and alcoholic beverages. The large bar can hold a lot of customers, has a bunch of TV’s, and was busy every day. The resort also has a pizza restaurant on site which we ate at and the pizza was good. There is also a Japanese steak house which we also tried and was great as well, and busy daily. The complimentary breakfast was basic, fit our needs and a nice perk. Our TV in the room was a nice 50 in Smart tv, but the aftermarket remote couldn’t access any of the streaming apps and there was no guide to peruse the many channels that was included, so you just had to scroll up and down, ( we didn’t watch tv much, but). The large pool was heated and was wonderful. There was lots of loungers available. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the resort as It was well located, priced well & we would stay again.

It’s a very old hotel. I stayed here as a kid in the 70’s when it was a Hilton. There was a very strong sewer smell in our room that improved significantly by covering the shower drain. Did let management know. Pool is too hot, not refreshing. AC in room is freezing and doesn’t adjust-old system The location is perfect and that’s why we chose it. Always love Harold’s place but was happy we weren’t poolside because of noise

Terrible wifi on one end of the property. The staff moved us to another room where it was much better, but if they're fully booked you'll be out of luck. Good vibe and fun bar with cheap food/drinks! Area around it is absolutely not walkable - you have to walk very far just to get to an intersection to get across the street.

The bed was a platform type and we kept hitting our shins on it. Mattress was very thin and the bed "clunked" each time we set down on it. The room was clean but older and run down.

Loved the addition of the smart tvs

The room was a good size but the “bathroom” was very small consisting of a small shower and toilet but no sink. Television was very limited. WiFi was spotty and slow. Both TV and WiFi were available approximately half of the three days we were there. Additionally with our AT&T cellular we usually had one or no bars. On the plus side we tried all three of the restaurants on the property and they had good food and service. Unlike many hotels now they provided daily room cleaning.

Several restaurants, unique, TV services is terrible, items in room have seen alot of wear.

Our stay was great. We we’re allow to check-in early, the room was clean and the staff was friendly.

Everyone who worked at the hotel and associated restaurants/bar were great! Mike, Ingrid, Kristin, and Kate were top notch and friendly. Hotel shows its age despite recent renovations, but was clean and comfortable. All fire alarms had exposed wires and a/c was a bit musty but improved as a/c was run more. Overall, the pool area was great and the food and drinks were superb! I will definitely stay again.

Excellent stay!! Would highly recommend the property. At first we were initially worried due to some of the negative reviews on this site. The day we were supposed to arrive, our flight was cancelled. Called hotels.com to see if we could change our reservation. Hotels.com contacted the hotel who changed our booking without cost and changed us from Sat-Sat to Sun-Sun without any issues. Hotel staff including front desk staff, restaurant staff, and breakfast staff were extremely polite, helpful and accommodating. Harold’s place has excellent food and drinks at a very reasonable cost. Pool is clean and warm. Hotel is close to many public beaches. I have absolutely no negatives about our stay. We are already planning our return to the property next year!

The staff was helpful and kind. The front desk needs to be trained to make eye contact and put a smile on their faces. THEY ARE THE FRIST PEOPLE YOU INTERACT WITH! I loved the fact that there are restaurants on the premises

EMILY WAS RUDE, DISREGARDED ADA guidlines and lied. Would not let us stay and did not refund our money even though she said she would.

From the moment we pulled in we could tell this place was going to be fun ! We arrived just before the restaurant was closing 954pm. The front desk guy said go get food before they close and come back. He was great! The server was great too! The pool was open late. We left the pool area at around 11:30 PM. There were still people in the pool as late as it was though it wasn’t loud. We got a good nights sleep. Our room had microwave, fridge, tv and coffee pot! We will be returning just to Come for a long weekend! Family friendly fun for sure!

The woman at the front desk was extremely rude.

The front desk check in was very nice when I added another day and a bit confusing but she was very pleasant and apologetic and the manager new exactly what’s going on and helped. Very nice people.

This hotel is excellent in location, food, service, the room very clean and nice. The pool is beautiful, front desk very smooth, I recommend this place.

It was great walking through the extremely nice neighborhood. Also, loved that the beach was within walking distance. The hotel grounds were landscaped beautifully.

This was an impromptu vacation to Naples and we found this lovely hidden gem of a place. This was perfect. The pool, restaurants, tiki bar, and food was exceptional. There was free continental breakfast which wasn't anything spectacular but did the trick. The room was specious with a beautiful bathroom and good sized fridge, microwave, etc. A prefect home away from home. I'd definitely be coming back here in the near future. The price and value was excellent.

Nice affordable place to stay. Could use better sheets and pillows, not 5 star quality. Tiki bar and restaurant were good. Breakfast was ok.

There are 3 on site restaurants. I had the pleasure of eating at 2, Harold's place and Fujiyama. The food was delicious and the staff was great. The pool area is the main attraction- food, alcohol, music and swimming. Loved the environment!
