Disappointed that the pool was not open. Checked the website and no indication of unavailability.

Bathroom a bit dirty. No baby crib available. Pool shower did not work, broken. Limited dining in area.

Pool needs new liner. Exercise room closed

The staff were helpful especially the front desk fellow that checked us in. It is a budget hotel so I didn’t expect much. However, there were a few things that we felt needed to be addressed. The beds are not comfortable, too hard. I like a firm bed but these are too stiff. Only two pillows I am sure we could have asked for more. But everything was sort of like good enough. The room was very stuffy so we had to have the loud a/c unit on all night. Breakfast was good. Nice coffee, juices, waffles, quality Yogurt, various Types of of bread and jams, PB, real butter, cream cheese etc. tea etc etc cold and hot cereals. The breakfast room was spotless and well appointed. We were allowed to have our pet. The location is decent, close to everything by car. The biggest disappointment was the pool and hot tub and surrounding area. The whole place needs a deep clean and most probably a bit of renovation. The hot tub chemicals are not correct. It was foamy and sludgy feeling. The pool liner was all wavy and wrinkled along with a slimy feeling. Room shower was pretty good, good pressure. The room was well appointed with dining table for two with two comfortable chairs, good size dresser and closet rack with decent amount of hangers etc. 3 humans and one dog. We were fine as the room was large enough. I felt safe in the area walking the dog. This place is no frills, but perfect for a concert night place to stay or to rest up overnight before continuing on your journey.

The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked, albeit somewhat noisy. The staff had cleaned the room as best as they could. The carpet had a lot of stains in it and the sink had been repaired when it needed to be replaced. The toilet seat was loose so you had to sit on it quite gingerly. Breakfast was average. The pool and hot tub were good. For the price ($100 all in) it was fine for the one night we stayed there.

It was a bed to sleep in The pool liner was falling apart and they dont have a gym anymore which for me was the whole point of me staying there. I personally wont be staying there again.

Clean, convenient, good mattress. Room in lower floor was not great location despite having made a reservation. And advertising having a fitness room when there is not one is not acceptable.

The guy when we checked in was nice but when the toilet plugged he refused to deal with it and put us on the third floor. Long haul for one of us with health issues. Bathroom next to pool was out of order and the hot tub had not been cleaned in a very long while.

Cleanliness needs to be improved, the staff is good and friendly, we were allowed to change another room which was much better in terms of cleanliness, including carpet and beds.

I don't know about other rooms but I have a dog and it always seems like we get shafted and get the worst available. There could be better cleaning done for sure. Lots of dust bunnies behind bed where the plugin is and do a better job cleaning so it's actually all wiped off. Still looked like toothpaste spots on taps. Bed was ok. Walls are very thin

There was literal blood on my curtains it was disgusting.

The shower head was very gross and had white crusty stuff all over it, we could not shower due to this issue and the sick faucet had green buildup around it . Other than that, it was a decent room for the price

Floors felt sticky and there was something splattered by the doorway.

My 3-night stay here was OK. The room was clean and comfortable. Also it was surprisingly quiet despite this location being a strip motel. (I slept with earplugs anyhow because of the sound of the trucks starting outside in the morning). The motel is very outdated though and needs some TLC. The bathtub was worn out and the hot tub / pool did not look clean enough to use. The common areas need more regular cleaning and when I checked in the lobby was absolutely whafting of cologne because of the front desk attended. I couldn’t breathe while I was checking. It’s a very low price though so I would recommend for short stays if you don’t need or expect any amenities.

Super gross. I don't usually like to leave poor reviews, but this was one of the worst places in a long time. The building is falling part, the floor was sticky, the bedding had holes in it, there were pubes in the bathtub. I would have left, but by the time I checked in it was already late and my only other options in the area were unreasonably expensive.

The air conditioner was noisy enough that we had to turn it off in our room. The bed was quite squeaky as well. Staff was awesome though.

It was close to many choices in restaurants and across the street from a mall which was handy Clean room Pillows were terrible, if there were more people in my room we would have fought over the one decent pillow, which wasn’t even that good Air conditioning was sooo loud , I couldn’t run it if I was watching tv or trying to sleep Had to rely on the fan cycle which was lacking

The bed was comfortable, but the air conditioner fan was very noisy. The area above the room was constantly thumping very late into the night, too. It was a difficult sleep.

They need new mattress’s. The price is great, but the beds are very old.

Good room for the price, bed was comfortable. Bring ear plugs as neighbours talking or opening closing doors will keep you up.

The Super 8 is probably like a 2-3 star hotel for us, the beds were supposed to be queens but were doubles, they were extremely hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were tiny and just a piece of foam. Also the noise traveled and there were guests across the hall that were very loud until 2am or so. Over all it appeared clean but we found a makeup brush on the floor near the desk from a previous guest. The pool and hot tub were fine and so was the continental breakfast.

From the time we're turned into the parking lot, we felt safe and liked our choice. Front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Once we got into our room my wife and I were very happy with the condition and cleanliness of the room is great. We recommend booking, don't be fooled by prices.

Check in was smooth and quick. The room had a gross lingering scent. The lock on the bathroom was damaged and removed. Cleaning staff in the am knocked very loud and abruptly startling my partner and I.

Staff was nice, but thats where it had ended. Upon arriving the room looked okay, but dont look to close or youll see stuff on the walls and roof. I had requested that staff not enter my room for the duration of the stay. That they did not do. And when they did enter to clean the room, staff had moved my toiletries, such as my toothbrush. Leaving me wondering the cleanliness of said brush (i therw it away as i no longer trusted it after someone i do not know had moved it) not staff fault, but there was a verbal altercation outside my door in the parking lot, thankfully was short lived, but was still concerning. Wouldn't recommended honestly

Overall not bad for what you paid for, but usually when you forget something in your room, they put in a bag for you. I checked out and checked back in the same day. Forgot some things in the previous room i was in and was told by the front desk guy that they don't keep it and they threw it all out.

we like it there. Lawrence at the desk is always so friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and have everything we need. It’s a very convenient location.

Was greeted by very friendly staff upon my late night arrival and greeted with very nice hospitality upon checkout 10 out of 10 would recommend

The hotel itself was fine but we used the auto check in email. We received a $1.38 charge from Super8 San Francisco. I have had credit cards compromised in the past they always start with a small charge to see if it works so I panicked when the gentleman at the desk said he didn’t charge us that. I locked my card and tried to report it to the fraud dept but it was closed. At 3 o’clock in the morning still trying to figure out all the pre authorization payment I need to change I thought maybe it was the auto check in. In the morning the desk person said he didn’t know or who to contact to find out. The next day I got a BS text regarding the credit card so definitely still lock and having to change everything won’t be staying at Super8 anymore. If any one reading this and the charge was legit to check the credit card send a email stating that so you don’t freak people out. This was the second stay this week we also stayed at Super8 in Kamloops but didn’t use the auto check in they charged $100 for security

Easily accessible off the trans Canada. This made getting back on the highway in the morning to continue my trip just as easy.

The hotel is in a great location being close to all kinds of amenities — shopping, entertainment, restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean.

It was difficult to find a parking spot when arriving later at night.

Convenient location for a short stay in Medicine Hat. Great restaurant options in the area. Parking was also a bonus.

Fit the bill, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay but things were not refilled regularly.

It was ok. Their breakfast wasn’t great…the waffle machine didn’t taste right

Parking was good. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Loved the continental breakfast room and choices provided. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend for a one night stay. Close enough to TransCanada Hwy and easy to find.

The breakfast is good for the average person. I am gluten free therefore I had to supply my own breakfast. Having Gluten free options on hand would be something to offer your guests. The brand Promise is a good gluten free bread, Chex by General Mills also offers a gluten free dry cereal. I believe having them on hand with a sign for your guests would be a benefit. Offering eggs is something else to consider.
