Everything you need for a nice stay driving through Canada. Great free breakfast, and the pool and giant waterslide kept us busy for hours.

Awesome pool area and water slide. Good temperature.

Breakfast was good and the staff were very nice. However, the place needs some maintenance. The elevators weren't working properly (could only go down) and the tub in my room was partially plugged so I showered standing in 6" of water.

Nice hotel, really loved the pool and water slide but jets were not working in the hot tub. Good options for breakfast.

Hotel was clean enough and the staff was very friendly. However the walls are paper thin so the hotel appears noisy, bed was not great! Gym was sub par at best, 2022 plus the entire Covid situation and my only option for hydration was a water fountain??? Definitely not a place I would come back to which is unfortunate because this property has great staff.

The hotel itself is a nice hotel. The suites are decent, they upgraded us at Christmas which was nice. The pool area is freezing. The pool itself is ice cold pumping cold water. We asked the maintenance guy to turn it up and he said because the slide was on is why it was cold, we told him it was uncomfortable he said okay went into the back room and turned it up and we felt warm water coming out. He then came in and turned it back to cold. I get cost savings but it shouldn’t be freezing especially if the pool area itself is chilly. The breakfast is decent and the lady that cooks, Karen, is super friendly and kind. Be sure to say hello to her!

We liked that it was close to the highway. Great shower pressure and friendly and professional staff. The breakfast was excellent too. Kept very clean in the dinning seating area Swimming pool was very cold( water in the pool)

In a hot summer day, can you image there is NO air conditioning in lobby, exercise room and hallway (second floor that I stay). I remember the A/C in the exercise room was not working during my stay last summer. Also, pan cake machine and fridge are both out of order. The toaster comes with only one side working.

The hot tub is hot and pool is excellent for the kids! Clean rooms and friendly staff.

Found a used toothpick on the floor, used dirty towels in the bathroom, not enough bathtowels for the people staying in the room for 6. Burnt out bulbs, flickering light, table wasn't clean it was sticky. Shampoo dispenser was empty.

Property is nice but not totally clean. Gum on bathroom floor. Chips under the bed not vacuumed up.

We had a great stay! The linens were very comfortable and the room impeccably clean. The continental breakfast offered lots of choices for both adults and children. The pool, waterslide and hot tub were well kept.

The last guest’s dirty face cloth was left in the bathroom and the shower tile in the bathroom could use a good scrubbing. Other than that great hotel.

The 4 bed suite was perfect for our situation, although the bathroom grout looked like someone had puked on it and they werent able to clean it....That was pretty disgusting.

It was clean, but upon returning after the housekeeping went through, there was still a used towel under the vanity.

Room was nice and clean Hallways were hot, felt like no air conditioning was on Landscaping around building overgrown and full of weeds Outdoor patio next to breakfast area dirty as well as windows dirty. Outside could use some general cleaning and maintenance

Cleanliness

The rooms heat was blasted and I was unable to change it or really sleep. It was horrible.

Very convenient for food options and is near a mall and water park! I paid $5 more than the cheapest room for a way bigger room with a couch and 2 KING BEDS! I enjoyed this stay very much!

Our room feels like we are in a closet. Really poor set up. View is of a roof covered in pigeon poop. Pool doesn’t open til 9:00, not a great place to stay if you want an early morning swim.

The King Suite was very nice. Spacious and nicely finished

Staff were exceptional at every instance (front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast attendant); however, the room we were in was right above the sliding front doors which we heard almost all night. Also, the A/C smelled like burning rubber when we put it on. Other than that, a great stay and would stay again but ask for a different room.

One a one night "drive thru" tour. Excellent hotel, very nice staff, bed was absolutely one of the best I've slept in! Clean and quiet too.

Outside does not look very welcoming. Mattresses are getting old. Bed frames make noise when you lay down.

The double king suites are a fantastic idea! I have never stated a proper day that had two kings, only two queen size beds. What a great idea

We stopped at Medicine Hat on our way from Winnipeg heading west. The location was right off the highway and was easily to access. There are a number of good to great restaurants nearby. The check in process was easy, the room was large, the bed comfortable, the exercise room was well equipped, had towels, sanitation to clean equipment. I used their laundry room which was clean. The only complaint was that they did not have change for the machines, but that easily resolved.

The mattress was terrible and my wife and I were stuck in the middle together in a ravine.

The hotel lied and was very ignorant and very rude. No communication between the staff from afternoon to night time which ruined our trip.

The staff at reception (Sally) was very nice, welcoming, engaging and caring.

Krista at the front desk is an amazing employee. We stayed at the Holiday Inn on our way to BC. A week later, we booked again for our return to MB. There was a glitch and our Expedia booking should never have gone through as they were in fact full. Krista saw our name pop up and she remembered us and she worked some kind of magic because later that night when we arrived she had sorted out a room for us. I would stay here again as the beds are comfortable and rooms spacious. The breakfast is something that could be improved.

Monique working at the front desk was amazing! Definitely recommend this hotel for its customer service and staff.

The staff was very friendly, and caring. When my air-conditioning cut out the night person was very quick to help and solve the problem. With a back up plan incase said air-conditioning cut out again. With a change in room if preferred .

Staff were unfriendly. Booked a king room and they gave us a room with 2 queens and never said a thing.

We experienced a friendly and informative welcome to the hotel.

When we arrived, Ian was hard at work mopping in the entryway, but he had a friendly and welcoming smile and immediately helped get us checked in. I think Ian's friendly welcome, after a 4-hr drive really stands out in my mind as a difference-maker for me. He was genuine and conversational without drawing things out too long when we wanted to get to our room and unwind.

Very clean and comfortable beds. Check in was slow and waited for 20 minutes for someone to come to desk. He was quick checking us in when he came back.

Friendly staff that make you feel at home. Lots of great choices for restaurants in the area. See you next time I’m back in the Hat

Easy to access shopping areas and restaurants with walking distance.

Fairly new property so is in excellent shape. Very clean. Great toiletries. Close to shopping and lots of options for dining. Staff are excellent. Only drawback is the parking lot could use more lighting. Will definitely stay here again.

Place is nice. The breakfast was simple. The area is close by to the highway and some ok places to get to eat but kinda awkward to get in and out of the property. Staff were nice. Good comfy stop.

The bed and pillows were amazing and the sheets smelled freshly washed. There is lots of shopping in walking distance and we felt safe in the area. The staff were pleasant and very helpful and the room was great. Would stay here again and tell people to stay there.

My daughter and I stayed two nights at this property. Our stay was pleasant. The location is excellent , the stores are all very close by and it is very easy to access Highway 1.

Liked how spacious the rooms were, didn't feel cramped in a little room. Front counter guy(Ian) was great, went the extra mile to make one feel welcome and at home. The breakfast was terrible, the eggs were gross, liquid honey for toast came was not liquid, some juice was watered down, ect.

Building is new and room was very nice. Pool is a nice amenity. The breakfast had a good selection. Our only complaint is on the Monday morning we left the staff member shut down breakfast before 9:40 and even turned the lights off on us. They told us breakfast is until 10, but I guess it’s actually whenever the staff feel like shutting it down. We had no issues with breakfast on Sunday and were there at the same time. Otherwise it was a good stay.

You guys need to offer more breakfast options, like hot waffles with syrup or whipped cream. There was cereal but not milk. The juice was severely watered down. And the pancakes were not always working.

This hotel was excellent. Very spacious and comfortable room, helpful staff and very good breakfast including lots of gluten free options.

Great hotel, excellent breakfast and the rooms really confortable. Highly recommended best price.

No Breakfast after 9:15 was not impressed

Our room faced a wall, it was dark and dingy; the breakfast was a disgrace, the coffee was so lukewarm and weak, I couldn’t drink it. I would never stay in such a place again, even if it was given to me for free.

We chose to stay here rather than the cheaper options because the reviews of the other hotels were so contradictory and concerning. This is still an older hotel but they have updated very nicely. Some reteofits in the rooms or items they spruced up rather than replaced (for example, the doors) may still show some wear and you can tell the pool area is well loved but it has been maintained well and is clean. Bottom line, they are trying hard but don't expect a brand new hotel. It was very comfortable and clean (and I am picky). We were missing the bed in a bag for our pull out couch. Front desk was apologetic and very quickly came up with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. The pull out couch was clean (which hasnt always been the case in hotels we have stayed in). Pool area was fantastic - mostly because the water was a good temperature. I really appreciated this! Our toddler stayed warm the entire time and it wasn't a shock going from hot tub to pool or waterslide (which was super fun). They have a selection of life jackets and puddle jumpers. Breakfast was a highlight for me. Being gluten free I usually assume I am not eating but at this hotel I had a full breakfast! They have GF oatmeal, bread, waffles and english muffins. Not only could I eat, I had a choice!

Our stay was very comfortable. The breakfast was great, with good healthy options. Yogourt, fresh fruit, oatmeal porridge, omelet, turkey sausage, bacon, hash browns, baked beans, pancakes, muffins, bagels, coffee (decaf on request), juices, milk. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was good but depending on who was working they didn't keep it stocked as well as the other. It would be nice if the pool was adult only for the last hour. The hotel itself was very clean and quiet. Elevator was quick.
