WoodSpring Suites Cocoa Beach - Rockledge

Appears to be a place where you’re staying for weeks or more. We needed a place for two nights only. Location was convenient to where we needed to be. Needed a key just to get to the elevator but after seeing that folks were basically living there, we got it. Employees were very nice and friendly.

The staff was not friendly, when I checked in I was not welcomed, the employee seemed like she was annoyed that I told her I was there to check in, she maybe said 3 words the entire time. When I got to my room there was an overwhelming musty smell where I had to go and purchase an air freshener. The hallway floors were not clean or vacuumed and the stairwell where the exit/entry door was very dirty. The room besides smelling was not the cleanest either! There was dust on the tv and tv base and the floors had debris on them, I do t k ow if they were cleaned from previous guests. I had to set the A/C to 60 just to have it cool in the room. When they say the room has bare essentials they should say NO essentials! I have never been to a hotel where there isn’t even little hand soaps in the bathroom. The room had NOTHING.

I’ve only stayed at 5 or so hotels so far. And this one was the cleanest, had a kitchenette, and close to stores and food. Highly recommend. Nice big room.

Comfy beds, nice staff, clean rooms

The kitchen was not equipped. There were no amenities., not even a blow dryer. No ice machine. Instead of putting a hold on my card they withdrew the money and now I’m trying to get it back. Will not be staying there again.
