Excellent too bad the pool was closed

Front desk and maintenance person were very pleasant and helpful. The block heater outlets were not 'on' but maintenance working with front desk had them switched on which was great for us. It was very difficult to find an onsite parking space after 7pm with larger / longer vehicles taking up multiple spaces.

Not enough parking spaces. Lucky to find last one.

The hotel smelt really bad due to a connected Indian restaurant attached to the hotel. Also they only have a pool that’s outside which is quite ridiculous. No hot tub even which is the first for me staying in a hotel. Staff was alright other then if you needed extra blankets they don’t bring it up to you. You have to come down and get things yourself from the front desk.

Staff were excellent and property was well kept. Kids loved the outdoor pool.

The breakfast was awesome. They had someone making fresh omelets. They bad lots of chooses to pick from. The rooms were super clean and sound proof. The staff was friendly. My only complaint would be The gym is only one stationary bike , one elliptical machine and one treadmill, that was broken and one weight machine and no cleaning spray.

Liked: variety and quality of breakfast food; especially pancake maker machine; manager was professional and quick to call back with clarification and follow up after I called regarding unauthorized charges on my credit card; games room. Disliked: breakfast server was dressed in sweatpants and concert shirt; appeared only one employee was available to wipe down tables and was rushing around to keep up during breakfast rush; dining room wall decor is mismatched, outdated and looks like it was decorated with Dollar Store items; our room toilet required handle-jiggling to stop toilet from continuously running; the air vent was noisy and disrupted sleep; after check-out my credit card was erroneously charged for another guest's invoice and when I called to inquire why I wasn't notified of the mistake I was told it was because I didn't provide my phone number upon check-in (I provided all details when I booked online and feel if the front desk staff needed more info, they should have asked me during check in or just emailed me). My family members have stayed at this hotel many times over the last decade, unfortunately it appears less cared for and more rundown each time we visit. Based on our summer stay experience, we canceled our upcoming fall reservation.

Staff all very courteous. Public areas and rooms were very clean. Breakfast was great. Large dining room and great selection of food. Need a little more work on general maintenance. Toilet in room 110 was loose, needs to be bolted to floor better. Cable machine in the gym needed fixing as 1 of the cables was off the pulley and 4 of the pulleys were very loose. Bolts had to be tightened. Overall, very good experience.

Room wasn’t very clean. We stayed in the suite which was amazing in size and layout but the silicone around the tubs and shower was black and the vents and other areas were CAKED in dust. Would have needed a deep clean to get all the dust off. Wasn’t just dust that you could blow away. It hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. The corners of the rooms were dirty. Needed a deep clean. The AC was also not working. It was 78 in the room and I could not get the AC to turn on. The pull out bed was also not great. Worse than any other pullout we have had at other places.

Okay lets start off with all of their bedding is stained with red/rusty colored spots! There were stains all over the room it was disgusting! You'll also find hair in your bed upon arrival... that was my very first impression when I checked out the beds. The lobby floor was also pretty dirty and was like that the whole 3 days I was there! The pool was the cleanest thing in that hotel... the beds were comfortable and I did appreciate the dove soaps. I also was concerned about the homeless and drug addicts that hang around in front of the hotel periodically. Also the parking wasnt great. If you find a spot dont move your car or else someone else will take it and you'll have to find parking elsewhere! This is why I rated this property accordingly. I will never stay at a Days Inn ever again because the last one before this one in Airdrie, Alberta was in a similar condition.

On a week long road trip with my daughter and Cranbrook was our last overnight stop. We arrived late and the parking lot was pretty full. We checked in with no problems and walked to our room on the ground floor, opened the door and looked straight at 4 men sitting outside our balcony door. It was so shocking my daughter walked over and closed the curtains and tied them shut with an elastic. Maybe they should implement closing curtains. Being on the road for 9 hours we just wanted to get into bed. We checked the beds, as we always do, and found the sheets on one bed was stained. I didn't call the front desk because the stain was on the edge of the bed and when we arrived there was a gentleman standing at the front desk waiting for coffee that he requested over an hour ago. I did not want to wait. I just put a towel down and went to bed. The next morning, I got up and went to take a shower. I turned it on and then stepped in. As I was rinsing, I turned around to face the shower head and saw it was covered in grime. I gagged. It was horrible. Since I was already in the shower I quickly finished. My daughter passed on taking a shower. We packed up, went to the front desk to let them know and show them a picture and the lady said, oh no, I'll be sure to tell housekeeping. I said that's it? I was hoping for at least a sorry. She just awkwardly smiled. I left before I said something I would regret. I would NEVER stay here or recommend it!!!

Filthy hotel. Reeked of cigarettes even though it's a smoke free property? Carpets and upholstery clearly haven't been cleaned in decades. Stains on everything, ripped sheets on the beds. Walls had weird smears on them. Very loud as right on the main drag.

Top of bedding was stained and dirty. No air conditioning, noisy street noise was unable to open window. 76 degrees in room. Asked to have air turned on or change rooms to quieter side so we could open window. Was unable to do any of our requests. Horrible!!

The ac did not work in the room. It was noisy and could hear the neighbours all night long. It seems ridiculous to pay high prices when we could have paid the same amount at a nicer hotel.

Hotel was rather aged. Breakfast wasn’t available until 7am. When you went in the bathroom in the dark, you cut your fingers on the sharp edges of the fasteners above and below the light switch. If you are over 6 feet tall, you need to bend at the waist to wash your hair in the shower. Curtain wasn’t large enough to cover the only window. When the furnace kicked on, it smelt as if someone had farted on the furnace filter.

No major issues, they need to fix minor issues, ie missing grout in bathroom floor etc. And please get some firmer pillows.

This hotel is OK for the price but it is in bad need of an upgrade. The rooms are very worn and dated and it lacks in overall amenities and the restaurant was just OK. We will probably stay in a newer hotel when we return next month.

Spent one night here while traveling from Banff to Glacier National Park. Room was showing a little wear from age, but seemed clean, and staff was friendly and helpful.

Book a room on the inner side not facing the road. It’s very loud they have single pane windows but the rooms are clean the pillows are amazing and the beds are comfy

First impression good but issues with the room started adding up. • sink drainage about half effective - needs angering • bath mat edges were fraying • with 9 deg C nighttime temperature, yet the inn’s heating was “turned off”, unannounced to incoming customer. • phone response to heat request was to ask me to “come down to the front desk to pick up a space heater” in my pj’s. POSITIVES; • comfortable bed • clean room

Likes - We liked the larger uncrowded breakfast room. Dislikes - Two ajoining room doors, unplugged floor lamp, crooked lamps on tables, almost inoperable TV remote (probably batteries). No front desk support because of the AI welcome system which appears to come from the front desk. It answered my concerns about the HVAC system but gave us no reply concerning the TV remote when mentioned. We assumed we were communicating with the front desk, only to find out during checkout the next morning, that the previous communictions were with an AI generated system and not a human being. Would have been nice to know. The breakfast was acceptable but the setup was not intuitive. Tea and coffee were at opposite ends of the food service. Real cream was not by the coffee. It could have been on ice next to the coffee. The juice machine wasn't working, and we didn’t see any bottled juice as a temporary substitution. The chaffing dishes for the sausages and bacon didn't have handles or knobs on the makeshift covers they were using. No plates to rest the tongs on between users. I could go on, but to say the least, it's doubtful that we would stay here again. The biggest issue was not knowing that you are being responded to by an A I system. It was frustrating that no one responded to my query about the remote and I couldn't understand why. When I talked to the manager the next morning and explained my concerns, he promptly told me about the AI generated system and it's shortcomings.

Check in with four people in front of me took more than 45 minutes. Downhill from there tired noisy hotel

Check in was slow one person on check in If the phone rang he would take the call which happened two time's. There was a manager in the office Who should have taken the phone calls while people We're trying to check in. The breakfast was ok but Sparse.

Great front desk personnel - friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

One of the staff members found bear spray and set it off on the third floor and that is the floor we were staying on. Odor made our eyes water and persistent coughing. We were not allowed to go back to our room for an hour after fire trucks and EMT’s checked guests over. Staff went back inside to grab water and did not offer any for the guests standing outside coughing in the heat. Was disappointing to see elderly guests not being looked after and staff huddled at the front door not speaking to scared quests. Not impressed with the lack of courteousness offered and no apology or discount offered for any inconvenience. Just unprofessional behaviour in my opinion and was not happy

A very lovely property. Staff were very welcoming and efficient upon arrival. Hotel was easy to find, is close to many restaurants and other services. Parking was convenient and I did not require my vehicle for the rest of my day, given how close everything was. Interior of the hotel was very clean, as was the case for my room. I was very happy with the choice to stay here, and would stay again if I was in the area

Highly recommended for an overnight in Cranbrook. Clean and newish rooms with a nice lobby/common areas. Staff was excellent. We needed a pet friendly room, which was no problem. We were traveling with bikes and asked for a space for indoor storage, and the staff offered a back office without hesitation. Very personable and accommodating staff.

Property was easy to find, close to a very cool Brewery/Bowling Alley and was good value.

Room was clean and even though we were overlooked a busy street, our room was quiet. I appreciated the staff accommodating our parking the motorcycle in a highly visible location monitored by security cameras. We were within walking distance of several restaurants and convenience stores and even a major grocery store a couple of blocks away.

Overall our experience was great! I was impressed upon arrival and all the way until breakfast. Breakfast was disappointing - looked like it had the potential to be great but they were out of almost everything, multiple things were broken so no water or juice available, etc. overall a great hotel though!

Breakfast was unavailable until 7am and so not able to eat at all. No allowance for those that have to work early…

Friendly helpful front staff. Clean room. The made to order omelet breakfast was great. However, the other “hot” food (bacon, hash, sausage) was kinda cold, 4 mornings in a row. Maybe need to fix the food heaters or turn them up.

Breakfast was fresh with a tasty omelet freshly made. Choice of how eggs prepared. Lots to drink, even decaf coffee. Nice server.

the new frontier in hotel stays involves the breakfast. It used to be the WIFI....remember, in the beginning, only available at an extra cost and only available in the lobby? Now, every hotel has wifi included, although some properties have crappy speed...this hotel's is great. The new frontier is the breakfast. And this place has a real hot breakfast...bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs or custom omelets made fresh, the whole nine yards. All hotels which advertise "Free Breakfast" should have to post whether or not it is a hot brekkie or just a bun and coffee. I want to book hotels that serve a REAL breakfast, and this one's is over the top!

There was a line up of people checking in when we got there and the clerk handled it like a pro. Friendly and professional. The hotel was clean and accessible. I really appreciate opening a hotel room and having a clean smell reach your nose. We went to the Bayleaf restaurant attached and thoroughly enjoyed some indian cuisine. Quiet, clean and friendly staff...what else could you need? I recommend you stop in this place on your travels!
