Days Inn by Wyndham Cranbrook Conference Centre

NO AC IN ROOM! Tried to message property. No response. Sun beaming into room and 20+ degrees outside. Stays hot. Even opening the window doesn’t help. The hotels advertises AC in all rooms. This is false and none are in are rooms. They are only heaters with a false heating reader.

The whole place was very clean. I was impressed that there was a gentleman sweeping up litter in the front parking lot. Lobby also very clean and spacious. The room was comfortable. Bathroom clean, nice towels. Breakfast- so nice - there was a very pleasant man custom making omelettes. The usual bacon, sausage, potatoes etc. breads, yogurt. Coffee, tea and juices. A very nice breakfast room. We also ate dinner there and really enjoyed the food.

The hotel is dated but clean. Ripped carpet edges and stained couches. Very short shower head, I’m 5’6 and had to crouch to rinse the top of my head. The shower also had a high pitched squeal the whole time it ran which I remember having in another room last time I stayed here. Very comfortable bed and the hot breakfast is as good as you can hope for being free. Great staff all around. I was placed in the room next to the elevator which worried me at first, but I barely heard it. Individual climate control doesn’t exist in the rooms and people smoke right outside so opening your window isn’t always an option, so I found myself too warm and too cold at times. Overall it was good for the price and I would stay again.
