St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino

Disappointed the sauna and steam room were not working due to mechanical issues. Also the hotel now charges a resort fee of an additional $14 per night. Not sure what ‘resort’ means since the golf course is now closed. Beautiful hotel and scenery, friendly front desk staff!

Golf/Casino were great so were the beds. The only issue in our room was when you wanted to watch a little TV most of the time there was no signal. The whole system needs an upgrade. Pool and sauna/steam room awesome as well

Hotel is a bit outdated and the equipment in the gym is squeaky and not in great shape but the property is beautiful, staff are lovely and pool and hot tub area is wonderful for kids to play and for adults to relax. Would stay again.

Parking is poor.

The rooms were spacious, needing a little updating but comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and two hot tubs on the property. It was a lovely space and beautiful grounds.

A one night stay on route further west. Staff were very friendly. The main Mission building is beautifully renovated. The golf course was not open due to off season. Our room was clean and nicely furnished.

Well situated and beautiful facility. Pool area in particular was beyond expectations, very very nice. Clean and equipped, pool was nice temperature and hot tubs as well. Hotel rooms could be made quieter by fixing slamming doors. Bathroom was not To our standard with cleaning and fan did not work.

Very nice setting and exterior of property was lovely. Room was nice. AC worked well. Bathroom was clean. But found a used bandaid by a chair and a large ripple potato chip under a bed among small bits of debris. Room should have had a more thorough cleaning.

Great place to relax. Property was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Clean, quiet

Room not ready till 5pm. Hotel was empty but we had to wait an extra hour past check in time. Shower curtain was stained, dirty and ragged. Large stain on bed sheet. TV remote filthy and sticky to the touch.

Staff is super friendly and helpful!! Property is clean, groundsvare well maintained.

The rims in the lodge need a huge upgrade

Room was clean, the fridge didn't work, the hair dryer in the bathroom was broken. The TV in the room was tiny too. But overall the experience was great.

Hard to say. We gor bottom floor with view of casino parking. Wasnt very pretty.

Room can be updated

The staff I interacted with were very nice. I booked a room with a king bed. The room (2232) was clean and i appreciated the extra blanket from the closet. On the negative side: 1) The furnace was so loud I could not sleep well. It would start about every 20 minutes blasting cold air before heating the room. It also drowned out the tv every time it kicked in. 2) I was disappointed in the small size of the tv. Too small for the distance from the bed. 3) The bathroom could use an update. Either replace the uselessly shallow tub with an easy access shower or add a soaker tub. The current option was not user friendly for mobility challenged guests. 4) Lastly, get a shuttle service going again. I paid a ridiculous price for a 10 minute ride to Angel Air.

The people were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and our meal was great. However, the heating system was very noisy and went on and off all night.

Hotel has beautiful surroundings. A little run down, but notes on the door say a reno is happening. We were on the main floor and could hear everything. The people upstairs kept us up til midnight klompimg around and talking super loud. The walls and ceilings are very thin. Unfortumate!!

The beds were not nice but all other good

The hotel and casino are great . The rooms definitely need tv upgrades as they are very old and they also need more plugs for charging etc closer to the beds instead of across the room

Excellent customer service

Checked in card to room did not work Then got the card and someone was in the room still waiting for a new key card Went to the bar got extremely slow service while everyone looked and kept on going

Property is beautiful. Service is lacking especially in the restaurant. I was asked 3 times to pay for my buffet breakfast. I told them to simply give me a check at the table. Next they asked for my room number...which I provided. Next I proceeded to the buffet which was devoid of food. Then I got asked again to pay while In front of a room full of patrons. Absolutely awful staff in the restaurant. Short girl dark hair glasses...should be working in a convenience store not a nice restaurant.

The actual hotel is fantastic to stay in. A lot of benefits. Unfortunately, the stay was ruined by customer service. During my stay the hotel was great. The room is clean, comfortable and has great views. The restaurant in the casino has great food and service (I ate there 4 times). And the fact that the pool and hot tubs are open year round is awesome (they are outdoors). The overall value for the physical hotel, especially in the off season, was superb. I originally stayed 2-nights, but ended up extending for an additional night, through Hotels.com. When I went down to check-out/check-in for the extended night, I asked the front desk representative if it was possible to stay in the same room rather than check-out, wait a handful of hours and check-in for a different room. The representative said that "Yes, we have you booked in the same room". There as no conversation about an additional cost, or was I asked to sign for additional costs. When I went to check-out, I was informed there was an additional $61 charge on my card because the room I additionally booked was a "deluxe" room and the room I extended for was a "standard" room. I explained that this was never communicated to me and I received the response "That's not how it works". Frustrated I left. I've attempted to contact the hotel twice, once through their website and once through their generic email address and have received no response to date which is 3-weeks later. An unfortunate response.

My husband and I had a 3-night stay here for our 44th anniversary. I can say without hesitation that the employees here are the resort’s greatest asset. We were greeted at check-in by Bella and the check-in process was efficient and pleasant. Up to our room to discover that it did not have a fireplace as we had hoped. Back down to sweet Bella who willingly changed us to another room. That room was not to our liking and she offered us another, the only other room with a fireplace. We found it very small so back to the long-suffering, saintly Bella who found us a larger room, albeit with no fireplace. This room was very satisfactory and Bella didn’t have to deal with us again. (What can I say, she’s an angel). We enjoyed the beautiful Mission building and our room was very comfortable and nicely appointed. I would suggest a better grade of toilet paper and Kleenex, however. There is a Keurig coffee maker and a mini fridge with 2 complimentary bottles of water. There are robes provided. There is only one easy chair other than the desk chair so one of us had to sit on the bed to read. It would be nice if there was an electric kettle and a tea pot provided. We had breakfast each morning in the Numa restaurant and dinner one evening in Numa Lounge. Our anniversary dinner was excellent. We were given a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. The food was very good at breakfast. We would recommend this resort and will definitely come back.

Stay was very good only thing we had a problem with was check in person Eric did not make us feel welcome. We have just traveled to and back from Laughlin Nevada and every person was great. Greeted us with a smile and made us feel like we were very important. Second time we saw him later was a little more open and helpful. Maybe had a bad customer before us but should not matter.

This is a great property. Comfy rooms, good restaurant options. Awesome golf course and amazing service. Marcus at the front desk is the best. Very friendly and accommodating!

The service was amazing and the hotel is beautiful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We had a fantastic anniversary supper at Nima’s.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Great dinner at Numa Lounge but the breakfast and casino food fell short, didn’t find any menu items that were made in-house.

Golf course is fabulous. Wished the dining roof or some food was available later in the evening. We arrived late and kitchen was closed. We had to get back in the car to drive to Cranbrook to get something to eat. Other than that the hotel is great

All the dining rooms were closed,so we had to eat in a casino. I dont like casinos at all. Poor energy/ loserville kind of feeling.To do this wehad to show ID to get in! How absurd. I phoned ahead to make sure the hot tub and pool were open.Which they were but I also asked at the time if there was anything else I should know.?.... that would have been a good time to mention this,that all dining rooms were closed.

This was our first time staying at this resort and it exceeded expectations. We stayed for 3 nights, golfed, gambled, and ate at all the restaurants and it was all amazing!

The building is nice , the rooms were clean and spacious, the staff were friendly, but, we cut our time there short because of the main restaurant being closed until later on in the year. Me and the new wife were hoping for a romantic meal but had to eat in the casino with all the lights and noises. The food wasn't very nice for the price.

Restaurant closed at 8, single drink or 1 drink at a time. No breakfast and no late food service, card tables at casino had been closed for months. Lack of employees was a common response. Considering the price paid for king room, the quality was below par. Will probably never stay here again,. .

Had been a little concerned about some less than great reviews about dining in the Nima …..well. We were more than happy. Excellently cooked(rare) steak and bison short ribs for us. The accompanying vegetables were so well cooked that this may have been the first time I had to leave ribeye because I needed room for the heritage carrots and garlic potatoes. No desserts for us but a great unknown to us Pinot noir from a crestón winery. NOT inexpensive mains but great and well served in a wonderful window table. We’d come back on the next road trip. Room was ok too. Front grounds stunning.

I would like to see more affordable dining

This hotel is lovely. The only issue we had was the lack of communication in regards to the restaurant at the hotel. I arrived with my son at the hotel after a long drive. The only hotel open in the area was only available in the Casino so no minors allowed. So how do you feed your family with minors? There is no room service. The staff was confused on how to order food for minors. Everyone kept telling me that they don't work in that department as we couldn't reach the kitchen on the phone as know one was answering the phone? So I wrote my order on paper and asked a staff member to run it into the kitchen. At which point we had to wait in the lobby for an hour while to food was prepared as there is no room service delivery. This process to order food was well over an hour to sort out which after a long day can be disappointing and trying. Maybe it was the off season so they had limited staff or something? My suggestion would be to have a restaurant access for families instead of of just food for people gambling at the casino. Other then that the rooms were decent, it did the trick for the one night we stayed there.
