This property is a "hidden gem". It is adjacent to Homasassa Springs Wildlife State Park with a lovely walking path directly into the park - no need to take your car. Also,the little restaurant, Gator Cove had excellent food. The property itself is aging, but the rooms were well maintained, with comfortable beds and the staff was very helpful.

This property is connected to the state park. There is a bridge not far from the swimming pool that goes to the park. Very convenient for families with children. The pool is nice also.

Valerie and staff were excellent to me. Check in and check out a breeze. My room was cleaned daily. They have a restaurant on site, Gator Cove, which is s plus for me. Food and spirits are good. They also have a pool which I have enjoyed during the summer months. I most definitely will return.

We have stayed multiple times at this property and this was the most terrible it has been. The room smelled absolutely awful like rotten broccili. The carpet in the floor was wet throughout the entire room. The toilet barely flushed toilet paper down and kept getting stuck and would end up running. The sink barely would let water out. The fridge didn't work. And one of the USB outlets was missing, The cleaning lady took our towels at 9am and didn't return them until 6 hours later. And people are living there disgusting won't be back.

The staff was friendly but the room was filthy. I washed my own floor because it was disgusting. Hair in the shower, dirty toilet rim, a set of muddy dog prints on the side of the sheet on the bed, anywhere you looked there was a dust whale to be seen and to top it off, the room smelled like wet dog.

The staff was kind, but this property is dirty and rundown. The refrigerator was leaking water. The light fixture and heater didn’t work. I saw a cockroach within 5 minutes of being in the room. There is a chair with tons of stains on it I absolutely would not sit in. The paint is chipping off of all parts of the exterior and some parts of the interior. There was a wax on the floor that was dangerously slippery. It never seemed to dry. I almost fell and spent the time to try and wash it off a dry the floor so I didn’t hurt myself. There was dirt and grime in almost every nook and cranny. If I had time I would have left and found a different place to stay, but I was in an enormous time crunch so slept fully clothed and didn’t use the shower. It did smell nice and there were plenty of clean towels.

It was so nasty the restroom smelled like urine ,there was hair all over the bathroom we found a roach in the restroom I would never book again . The room smelled so bad it was a no for us,no phone in the room !the guy in the front was supper nice .

The floors in the room were filthy, I wiped up water on the floor and when I looked at the towel afterwards the towel was black, I am not sure when it was mopped last ? Also the chain was rotted on the toilet and I had to open the back of the toilet and manually flush it. Also there were pubic hairs all over the bathtub and toilet area we didn't even use the shower at all, I booked the room for 2 nights but left the 2nd night and went home early to my clean shower, I don't recommend staying here, a partial remodel has happened but there is a lot that wasn't done like it should have been

This hotel is right next to the state park we were planning to visit, so that was ideal. The front desk staff was friendly. I must say that this was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. There were multiple roaches. The bathroom grout is very moldy. The walls were VERY dirty with smears of stuff. People smoking in the walkways around the hotel made an overall smoky odor. There was also a construction site in the parking lot next to the hotel.

The room was very large and adequately furnished.This is an old hotel that needs a major renovation. Room had a weird odor that was trying to be masked by 3 small deodorant tabs placed in room a/c vents. The a/c controls for heat or cooling did not work. Appeared to be preset at 70 degrees. These units are over priced considering their outdated condition.Will not stay there again.

My room was on the second level and overlooked the pool which was nice. The pool area is the prettiest feature of this hotel. The rooms are accessed by exterior doors and you have to use stairs to get to the second level. Pros: It's next to the Homosassa Springs Visitor Center so you can walk to it. There's also a grocery store and places to eat nearby. The bed was comfortable and the mini frig had a freezer compartment. The Wi-Fi worked fine and they had enough outlets to charge my electronics. Cons: The floor was not clean - there was dust, dirt and dirty tissue on the floor when I arrived. The bathtub wasn't cleaned. It seems like they only put fresh linens and towels in the room but didn't do anything else. There was a small roach on the wall by the desk (where I was sitting - yuck). The t.v. remote was very dirty. There weren't any hangers or a luggage rack . There seems to be long term guest staying there but they were not a problem and the place was pretty quiet after 10:00pm.

Bed was lumpy . Grounds clean , dated . Although a 7-11 is across street , it has homeless 24-7 around it . 150 feet from motel . It’s not there problem , but safety could be a concern . No one bothered us but … 7-11 inside is very nice . Located close to everything . Pool looked very clean ac set at 60 , never got close to that . Prolley 74 at best .

Always a good stay there. It's great you don't have to go anywhere after check in with the Bar/ Restaurant right there with good food and all you want to drink.7-11 right next door. What more can you ask for.Most of the staff will go out of their way to accommodate you as well. It's a WIN,WIN Situation. Been going there over 30 years now.

Reading the reviews on this hotel made me a little nervous but I was relieved when we got there and it was staffed by very helpful, friendly people. Our needs were efficiently addressed when we needed assistance and a room snafu was kindly and quickly sorted out. Our room itself was clean and comfortable, not the most luxurious but definitely adequate for our needs of exploring this neat little town. The facility in general could use a little sprucing and umprovements cleaning areas beyond the lobby and rooms, but for what you're getting, it's definitely worth the price. I was a little surprised to see numerous piles of dog feces in the Agravel surrounding the pool area but the pool itself was sparkly clean. Overall, we had no problems during our stay, we saw no bugs in our room or anywhere else that would be Unexpected for Florida, and we got our deposit back at the end of our trip. Don't expect anything super fancy, and this should be a reasonable option for travelers on the budget. We would definitely stay here again.

Valerie at the front desk was AMAZING. She was accomadating, friendly, greated us with a warm hello and smile. Informed us of area activities, etc. We ate at the Gator Cove Bar and Grill inside the hotel. Madison was also the bomb. She really knew her drinks and food options. She also was friendly and full of ideas for things to do in the area. The Shrimp Basket was so YUMMY!! Best I have ate in awhile. My traveling friend had the Flat bread Pizza and it also was so good!! The hotel is undergoing renovations but they are on top of it and will make you stay a pleasant one. Will for sure stay here again!! Thanks!!

Had a good time, only thing was when in the room the we had trouble trying to get the TV to work. I ask the lady on the afternoon shift for help and she said she would come and check it out but never came. Every time that we come to town we stay at the Rodeway Inn.

Overall the stay was good. Not able to communicate with front desk, had to call outside direct line to access. No TV instructions on how to access channels. Other than that stay was fine. TV situation not a big deal due to circumstances of stay. Front desk was very accommodating in getting a first floor room. Very appreciative as the RI was fully filled.

No one was there to check in. i had to call them and ask them to come to the front desk. asked for poolside and settled on a room near the parking lot. Loud music one night until really late. went to check out at 7am and again no one there to check me out. bathroom door on the inside was filthy like a mechanics bathroom,really dirty! the rest of the room was clean thats about it b/c the pillows are really bad and huge not comfy at all basically a cheap pillow

Very friendly staff. Once renovations are done, the lobby will be very nice. Right next to Homosassa Springs you can walk to. Very close to Crystal River. Spacious room. Only thing it could use is a paint job on the bathroom door. Comfortable beds.

Horribly noisy place. Gas station shared the parking lot and people drove past your room making all kinds of noise all night. Killed a roach in the first few minutes. The curtains do not block the light from the gas station. Questionable clientele in the parking lot.

We had a good stay, the rooms have been remodeled and looked like the pictures. The pool area also is very nice, some parts of the Inn are still being updated, so ot looks unfinished overall, but we really appreciated the updated areas and rooms and it's in a great location, right next to the Wildlife State Park and appreciated a restaurant on site as well.

Decent stay, not great. The pool area is nice. The room needed cleaned more. There was a dirty ashtray left in our non smoking room and there were long dark hairs on the floor and in the shower. The stairwell smelled like cigarettes and there were butts left on the steps. The room and bed was comfortable but small.

The restaurant is awesome and food is great. We were there for their all you can eat fish Friday night and it was very good. The room it’s self was lacking. The bed you could feel the springs and the side of the hotel we were on was not the best. There was loud music, people hanging around, kids running up and down the hallway. The person next room to ours was up ALL night hanging outside the door, talking on speaker phone, had someone banging on their door all thought the night. At one point the management was there telling them about complaints and last chance.. but it didn’t change.

On a Harley trip. We like a clean room, comfort & hot shower. Our room had all that. Great bar & restaurant but know breakfast. Lots near by to get breakfast. Everything available is within walking distance.
