This was the rejuvenation I needed! Coco La Palm isn’t a modern resort, but it has everything a family needs for a relaxing vacation. You won’t find the frills of an all-inclusive, but you also won’t miss them. The resort is right on Seven Mile Beach, so there’s no chance of getting bored. There’s so much to do, from watersports and sampling Jamaican snacks to chatting with guests and residents. It’s lively, yet there are still quiet corners for peace and relaxation. Be prepared to be greeted by warm, professional staff who deliver excellent service. My daughter and I spent Heroes Weekend here, and we’re already looking at dates to return. I even asked about a loyalty program because we are definitely coming back. Some standout features: kids under 12 stay free (you only pay for their meals), the pools and jacuzzi are spotless, and the staff clearly take pride in maintaining the property. I also loved that there were plenty of floaties available for guests at the pool. Best of all, the resort is right on the beach, so you can step out of your room and into the sea. That was a dream for my little girl, who adores the Caribbean Sea. We spent over six hours swimming, got perfect tans, and returned later to watch the sunset over dinner. Their customer service truly ties the whole experience together.

This was my 4th time returning to Cocolapalm. The grounds, pool, restaurant, bar, rooms are always kept up daily. The staff around the hotel are always busy working to keep it up! The security guard at the beach is great! Shout out to Notaya in the restaurant! She aims to please! Like their motto says, “keep coming back for more”. I will be back! Soon come, one love!

Property was a good value but in my opinion they need to upgrade their beach loungers as well as add umbrellas to the sandy areas where the trees shade doesn’t reach. All the beach loungers were jam packed next to each other for the shade. They also need to introduce limiting lounger saving. Every day I saw large groups of 4-6 chairs being held literally ALL DAY without anyone using them! Very frustrating! We were forced to go to other nearby resorts to spend our money for meals and drinks in order to enjoy the beach.

Property was very enjoyable. Location was great!! Amenities were great(pools, hot-tub, bar, dining and grill). If I had one complaint, it is that the air conditioner filters needed cleaning. There was a cigarette odor coming from ours. To be fair we didn’t report it so it could be done while we were there.

Location is perfect on 7 mile beach! Food is excellent, especially the breakfast. Property is very clean and well kept. Wish there was more shade on the beach at this hotel like more palm or almond trees so everyone is not crowded under one big tree there. The drinks at the bar are pretty expensive and small. Good thing they have happy hour each day for a couple of hours and there is a grocery store in walking distance to buy drinks and snacks. Very nice hotel though in perfect location.

We just recently stayed for a week at CocolaPalm Reaort. The check-in was quick, however the front desk attendant did not inform us about the property at all. They just said to look in your room for resort information. The rooms were spacious, but dated. Our room had ants crawling around daily even in our bed. We advised the cleaning staff but nothing changed. Our cleaning lady was excellent. She had one day off and the lady that cleaned on that day folded our old towels and put our dirty bedding back on the bed. We called the front desk and this was rectified with no apology. The staff was very restaurant staff was very inconsistent. Some staff were happy and welcoming while other staff were the exact opposite. The food was decent and we did not have hot food once when it arrived. The beach was excellent and plenty of chairs for everyone. The pools were also clean and well-kept. The people selling marihuana and other drugs are very aggressive and you can't avoid them. The security at the resort allows this and is non-existent. You are harassed every 15-30 minutes by the drug traffickers. The resort has a good location and is quiet, however; lacks customer service and does not protect the guests from the vagrants that are drug trafficking all day and night.

CocoLaPalm has been my go to for a few years now but this trip left much to be desired. The rooms aren’t being cleaned properly instead it looks like a surface clean is being done; mildew was all over the bathroom which could have been easily remedied with bleach! Same for the tile grout lines. We had to wear slippers because the floor wasn’t mopped properly. I opted not to have housekeeping for the 3 day stay because I don’t feel anything would have changed. The power kept surging making it difficult to charge our devices in both rooms, biting ants plagued my room so I had to request spray. The restaurant is too expensive for the quality and portion size not to mention the ten percent service charge which now became customary. The continental breakfast comes with the room however it consists of unripened fresh fruit and pastries none of which were to our liking so we ended up purchasing meals both on and off the property. Overall it’s a beautiful property and the location on the beach is great however there is room for improvement in many areas.

My biggest complaint is no internet available in the rooms!! I was trying to “Work from Jamaica”, but that was impossible. Second complaint was no one available to handout beach towels twice when I went down. There’s no elevator and the staff person walked up MANY steps to deliver my driver’s license that I left at the front desk and the room service person walked up MANY steps to deliver breakfast so I’m grateful for that. There was a huge cricket in my room, but I just tried to ignore him since I decided to cut my trip from 3 nights to just one. I appreciate the price, but I NEED internet :(

Though the staff was generally polite, everyone seemed miserable. I don’t mind when food/service takes a while, especially when it’s busy, but staff forgot my order and requests for condiments and silverware again and again. The grounds are well kept and the place is clean, but the WiFi never worked, the power went out and the generators blew exhaust straight to where my room was. My main issue is the lack of friendliness of staff. I spoke with some other guests and a couple mentioned that it was ruining their experience. Add to that, the prices have increased so much that it costs more to eat a basic dinner here than in a major US city. I’ve come to Negril for years and have stayed at coco la Palm before and I don’t think I’ll be back. This stay was very disappointing.

I can’t say enough good things about Coco LaPalm! The staff is absolutely amazing friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. The location is perfect, right on the beach, and everything is within walking distance, which makes it so easy to enjoy Negril. Waking up and stepping right out onto the sand feels like a dream. Coco LaPalm has truly become my happy home in Jamaica, and I can’t wait to come back!

We checked in fairly late. They offered a room upgrade. We took them up on it. The room had broken air conditioning. Let the front desk know if we could have the room we booked instead. They said they had a full house and no other option. They send maintenance to check the AC he could not get operating. Uncomfortable all night. Left in the morning

We enjoyed our stay at Coco La Palm, the second time we've stayed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Dinner gets slow as they seem to be understaffed when the place is busy. But it's simple enough to walk on the beach and find another place to eat.

This is a wonderful spot in Negril. The location on the beach is fantastic. Right in the middle of the best strip of the beach. The property is small and quaint. The garden paths are lush and beautiful. The room was spacious and clean. The grounds are well staffed and maintained. Good value breakfast included. Paddle boards available for free for guests which was a plus. Lots of beach chairs under the shade of some beautiful big trees. Great value for the price point all around.

Excellent location on the beach, great staff, comfortable rooms, good restaurant and bar, great pools and great location. Our room was a little dated, but comparably price wise; this place is great value. Overall I look forward to returning ….. and I don’t say that often. Will be my first choice in wonderful Negril.
