This hotel had a major upgrade over the past year or two, with many improvements. It\'s overall feeling is bright and tastefully decorated. The restaurant and bar was going to open for the first time on the day we checked out. Our room was on the top floor and was very spacious with a nice view. Our bathroom wasn\'t very clean, especially the floor, around the toilet. It was strange to have an exercise bike near the bed; where a Jacuzzi tub would have been (?). The space would\'ve been a good place for a couch or a comfortable chair, as described in the "room description". The only place to sit was a desk chair or the bed. The linens were thin and cheap; not warm enough for winter. I give this hotel an average rating. It was good for the price, but missed the mark in a few areas. Also, parking is very limited with no extra spots to be had.

The hotel had to shut off water overnight so there was no water for the remainder of the stay. I had to work the next day and figure out alternative arrangements at additional expense. Was told they would refund the night or give a voucher but nothing was given.

The place is beautiful. Clean, quiet but the water pressure is awful. Literally trickles, not an exaggeration. I have long hair and to get the shampoo out took forever. Probably wont be back because of that its to bad because everything else was great!

They only have on elevator. During our three days stay, elevator was out of service for two days. We had to carry luggage up the stairs to fourth floor, and carry them down when we had to leave.

This is a 6-story hotel with one elevator. When we checked in a maid had the elevator tied up with her cart. We waited on 1st floor for 10-15 minutes before being able to get up to our room. Other than that it wasn't too bad but if the hotel were busy (it wasn't) this could be annoying. The hotel has a free breakfast but it consists of what are probably dehydrated eggs producing a scrambled egg serving with a very strange texture. There were biscuits and sausage gravy with just specks of sausage. Cereal is available. Seriously the worst free breakfast offering I've experienced. The hotel itself and our room were clean. Our room was nice and updated. We had little interaction with the staff, but when we did they were friendly.

Very nice hotel, it is extremely clean and well kept! I was a little disappointed there is no pool or hot tub (I must have gotten the 2 Best Westerns in town mixed up). The gentleman at reception was understanding and willing to void our reservation if we wanted to go to the other location even! We stayed with the no pool site and have been very pleased. Highly recommend if pool is not a concern for you.

There was a small dog running around the lobby. Our sheets and some pillowcases were inside out. The room was not cleaned at all during our three-night stay, therefore we had to go to the front desk for clean towels. The "restaurant" did not have many of the items on the very limited menu. At this time, I would not recommend this location.

I decided to give this hotel another shot after my first stay left quite a bit to be desired. So I swung for the fences and booked a suite; 606 to be exact. At first glance the room looked lovely, but then....😳😬 Pretty sure the place to do any sneeze cheese in Wausau, has been done in suite 606 🤧😵 (pic attached). But wait, there's more....hairs stuck to the shower walls secured by snot rockets, random plaster crumbles along the floor, broken coffee maker (which I'm going to take as a blessing since who knows what fungus has been lurking in there☠️), questionable stains on the bed sheets, couches, etc. The pros, you ask? I was an hour early for my meeting in the morning (checked out way earlier then I planned) and the hotel has a geat location. End scene 🎦

I chose this hotel from an abundance of great reviews as my wife & I were going to be traveling through the Wausau area. 1 nights stay was needed and I wanted to be sure to find a top quality bed and clean Hotel in all. This was everything I wanted and more. My wife is very picky with where she’ll lay her head down. This was immediately a happy first sight upon entry. Clean, new and well decorated. Bed & pillows were very comfortable and we received a very good quality nights sleep. We’ll definitely stay here in the future if we’re looking for a hotel in the area. Breakfast was sometime we didn’t partake in as we wanted a sit down restaurant instead. Price was better than anywhere else for the quality stay in the area as well.

Very friendly staff, comfortable mattress an pillows. this may sound goofy, but, they have the chair height toilets which is so much better than the usual cheap hotel toilet that’s about 6” tall. Only disappointment was that the restaurant was closed on Sundays. Judging from that one would assume that the food isn’t good enough to bring in local customers.

Wow! Pleasant stay! Quiet room. Very efficient check in and check out. Bed was exceptional as was the room. Breakfast had many hot options and fresh melon was a treat! Loved the coffee!!

The desk manager when we checked in was very friendly yet professional. We had a beautiful room, comfortable beds , very very clean Maria was the breakfast host and she was also very friendly. She also was at the front desk when we checked out. Such a sweet young lady. My husband and I agreed we’d definitely go back. We did return 2 days later on our way home and Maria was at the front desk again. Unfortunately there were no rooms available, which we saw online, but I thought we would stop and check anyway. She apologized over and over again. Not necessary but sweet

Bed was great. Cocktails/bar located off lobby. Was less than impressed with the breakfast however. Over cooked/warmed tater tots and eggs from a box. Dried out mini donuts. Did not have yogurt or anything else in the cooler. Green bananas. Just wasn’t good. Facilities were fine otherwise.
