Rosario Resort

The property was lovely. I did not know that the Mansion and pool were not accessible. Our room had plenty of space and very beautiful.

The main building is closed for renovations.

The main facility was closed, so not many dining options. The rooms are clean and recently remodeled, which is nice. They say that the marina grill is open for breakfast but your only options are tacos or omelets. No toast, no fruit, no hash browns. Very limited menu. If you have food allergies you are best to bring your own food.

We booked our stay in April 2025 for late August 2025 and the website said that the Mansion would be open in the summer. It was not and there is only one restaurant in the Marina (it is fabulous and not associated with the hotel). There was no food on Tuesday and Wednesday other than a snack bar at the Marina because that restaurant was closed and the Mansion is shuttered. Our check in was contactless but when we arrived our room was HOT and there was only Decaf coffee because they had "run out" of regular coffee! There was no AC, there were other guests on the same patio (no dividers) who were smoking and making noise late into the night. Although the room was big, it was tired and the carpet dirty, the shower drain was plugged, and I can only say that the King size bed was a King size. There was no room service on our second day and housekeeping came into the room when we were out to eat on the morning we were checking out and cleaned our room BEFORE checkout time! We came back to our room having the door wide open. Oh and the safe is not bolted to anything. For the money, this was so not worth it and we would not stay again.

That was a surprise after I had already booked. My room was comfortable and spacious, but it was very hot outside and there is no AC, just a fan. That should be improved. It was a contactless check in, which was a little confusing in terms of which building, but otherwise fine. The grounds and boat marina are goregous and very walkable. The views are panaramic of the East side of Orcas Island and the water! Stunning! I will definitely book again and look forward to seeing the rest of the property after tge reno is completed.

The two-story building we stayed in was well maintained, but we hardly saw anyone (other guests or staff) during our 2 night stay. We also discovered that the museum and restaurant are closed for renovations. Again, nothing unpleasant if you like secluded places but the whole thing had kind of weird vibe.

The safety look of the balcony did not work, they charged before telling me there was no pool and jacuzzi working, expensive for everything you don’t have

They said the mansion, pool, and restaurant are closed do to maintenance but there is no sign of people working. Honestly it looks like they should be all the way shut down with everything being closed and no one onsite. Normally this place would be beautiful decked out for the holidays with their festival of trees. It really is sad to see this place like this!

We stayed at Rosario Village for one night after an incredibly long day of travel. We couldn't wait to get to our room and get a good nights rest. It looked beautiful from the photos and was not cheap. When we finally arrived at our room, we were incredibly disappointed. The pictures are very deceiving! Our room was SO gross. As soon as we walked in, ALL of the carpet was completely stained, the bathroom sink had hairs and grime around it and the mirror had splatters of something on it...the bathroom floor was so gross...tub didn't drain when showering. I felt dirty just being in the room. It was musty and old. The screen door was incredibly hard to open and close. Our "water view" was obstructed by stairs. There is no front desk. Everything is sent via text/email. That was fine but when I went to call the "front desk" about the cleanliness of our room, there was no front desk. I took photos of everything and texted them to the number we received all the check in instructions from. The person responding seemed understanding and said they would pass it on to the cleaning staff and said this is not their standard. I would hope not! I've stayed at Motel 6's that were nicer and cleaner than the room we stayed in! And for a fraction of the cost! I'm most upset for how much I paid for a short period of time and they did NOTHING to make it right...didn't offer us another room or a refund or anything...almost $200 to stay the night in a filthy room! I will not be staying here again.

Yes, everything except the bathtub. When I took a shower I was standing in at least 2 inches of water backed up. My daughter pulled a ton of hair out of the drain. This should never happen.

In the woods, so bugs and spiders were common. Shower was not that clean, place felt old.

With no employees there we got lock out of room. Had to call and wait for them to call back and had to wait for them to reset code. No place to use restroom while we waited for new code. Nothing at resort open. Absolutely no service for all cell phones. My friend had no service the whole time. Mind was bad just trying to get a hold of them to get in room. Carpets were horrible.

Rosario is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. The room in general was great. I had no issues with the remote check in. Balcony view is great. Two negatives: 1. The room did not smell good. I don’t know if it’s just a bad sea smell or previous pets, but it was funky and not fresh, even after opening the balcony door to air out. 2. It’s not very soundproofed. It was better than another place I tried to stay in Rosario, but as I had a lower floor room, I could hear any walking in the room above and anytime a surrounding room used water fairly loudly. If you are sound sensitive, definitely get an upstairs room. The mansion is under repairs, so there aren’t any amenities to utilize, but it’s a great spot on the bay.

Relaxing stay. Bird song, sunsets viewed from a bluff, harbor seals. Very close proximity to Moran State Park. Room was clean and comfortable with a small patio looking out on the bay.

The reception is 100% remote and hence there wasn’t any regulations although it was a smoke free property.

Miss the mansion. Also, key code did not work and we had to borrow another visitor's phone to contact office for a new code. They need management there. There were a few minor repairs needed in the bathroom; I took care of the squeaky hinges and tightened the toilet seat. Left the tub trim and TP holder for them.

Despite asking it to be repaired, no such action was taken. The room was missing a smoke alarm and had a strong disinfectant smell (enough to produce a headache). Finally, the leaking and ugly ice maker at the entrance really has the effect of making the place feel dumpy- fix it and clean up the area or put a door over it at least. For those of us over 40, the mattress was a bit uncomfortable.

Wondering property with a stunning view. Our room 1316 was amazing. The problem was that there were zero instructions for the lovely fire place, and I was not able to get it running. They do not staff this property after hours. I texted and then called the number of the texting help. The customer service was a nice person located in the country of India. I called the first time at 6:33 pm and we never did get any help from a real person on site. The texting and my calls to customer support went on for almost 2 hours. It was cold and cloudy and we really wanted to enjoy the fire, in this wonderful room. So the property was wonderful. The service people in India were nice. But if you need someone to do anything on site, it appears that this is not possible after hours currently.

This place has no employees on site, they send you a remote code to get in over phone. Cell service depending on carrier doesn't work. You might have to go elsewhere just to call them when you can't get in. There is no security at all.

One hour on the phone to troubleshoot the lock for them. 24h to obtain the tv remote. No cleaning during the stay.

Had a bit of a tough time finding our building but was very pleasantly surprised by our room and location! Clean and super quiet. Remodeling is going on but didnt really car. I was also able to plug my car into a charger. They have 2 stations.
