There's nothing 'fancy' about the hotel, but my room was clean, quiet, and the AC worked. The bed linens were perfectly clean so that is a must. I stayed on the 11th floor, and there weren't many people coming and going on my floor, so that probably helped keep the noise down. Overall, an easy and clean stay for the basics I needed.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this property. I checked into my room and left within about an hour because the room conditions were unacceptable. The noise level was excessive, making it impossible to relax, and I found what appeared to be roach shells on the bed, which raised serious cleanliness concerns. What was most frustrating was how the situation was handled. When I reported the issues, the hotel repeatedly attempted to charge me an additional $70 per night to move to a different room. After deciding to leave the property altogether, I was told I would only receive a refund if I paid an additional $40. To make matters worse, I accidentally left a pair of sunglasses in the room when I checked out. I contacted the hotel shortly afterward to inquire about them, but I was told that nothing had been found. Given how quickly I reported the missing item—and considering I had originally booked the room for two nights—this response was especially concerning. It suggests that the room may have been reassigned almost immediately after my departure, yet the property still refused to provide a full refund despite the issues that caused me to leave. I raised my concerns immediately and gave the property every opportunity to resolve the situation, but instead I was met with additional charges, poor customer service, and unresolved issues. The overall experience left me feeling that guest concerns were not taken seriously.

Friendly staff and room was clean and modern. The neighborhood is not nice and has transient folks but that isn’t the hotels fault. It’s very close to little Italy. We only stayed one night as we had a cx flight. It’s a nice place for the cost for NYC.
