Four Points by Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront

It was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. The parking was great. An outdoor pool would be nice.

We have stayed here for 4 years in a row! We have always bragged about how beautiful this hotel is, how incredible it is to stay here. Friday - About 2pm normally room is ready but room wasn’t, they put us on the 8th floor. No big deal. Went to return the luggage cart and the light on the elevator didn’t come on when we pressed to go down. Waited for the elevator to open, nothing happened. We had to go down to the 6th level on the stairs to get on the elevator. We called front desk and they said that only one elevator was working and someone was supposed to work on it overnight. The next morning, Saturday, we tried to go down to go to the beach. The light still didn’t come on, but after about 5 minutes the door opened and we went down. Had a wonderful time at the beach! Coming back in, there was a long line waiting. One elevator was stuck on level 2. The other was apparently taking way too long. We really didn’t have a choice but to take the stairs, the issue was that we stayed with our 75 year old grandmother. So the 4 of us had to walk up 8 flights of stairs to get to our room. Just seems… a bit ridiculous considering they said that the elevators were supposed to get fixed during the night. I don’t think they were fully fixed till Monday. Once the elevators worked there really wasn’t much to gripe about, other than the weather which no one can control. I just wish that they had been able to be more accommodating for the elders and the few handicap people I seen instead

Only complaint is the pool being so very hot. I only used it once because it was too hot. Staff, room were excellent !

One big problem is parking in the parking building! If you have a van or truck you it is hard if the building is busy. Elevator had trouble also. Staff was nice.

Cute clean lobby, smells like cologne though. Elevators and hallways need updated. Hallways are creepy and need warmer lighting! One elevator broke during our stay but was fixed quickly. NO HOT TUB - The little pool in the pictures is a kiddy pool, my mistake. Room 414: Drop ceiling in the room and bathroom was weird. Weird green lighting in the ceiling fixture. Thin walls, you could hear the upstairs plumbing when theh flush. Balcony and bed were great. Deep bathtub to relax in. The battery for our door lock wore out so we were stuck out of our room for about 20 mins. Quick fix, thanks team! Jumping shrimp restaurant is great and the little shore shop being inside the building is such a plus. Love the shop owner! Overall stay was good. But would I stay here again? No. There are comparable hotels with better amenities and vibes.

The hotel was nice for my needs. The gym was small but ok..the pool was small also..more for kids. The best thing about the room is that I had a really nice ocean view, which was the reason for the whole trip. The room was clean but for some reason they have no trash bags in the trash cans.

We struggled to find parking in parking deck due to our truck being a 2500 so the garage was a tight fit could only go up to second level and when it was full there was no where to park.

Easy check-in, front desk was friendly and accommodating. We left a bag of clothes in the room and they were nice enough to box/ship it to us after we paid the shipping fees. Our 2 queen room had pretty comfortable beds but was a bit cramped. There’s not much space to store your belongings when you have 4 individuals in the room. It’s a bit dated. Tiny fridge w/ no top freezer area. The AC was so loud when it turned on. It would wake us up a few times in the middle of the night each time it kicked back on. The beach front view is amazing. Very close to the pier and not too far from Rudee Inlet. There are two Restaurants right from the lobby. Jumpin Shrimp, fairly priced for seafood and food was very good. The other is a $50 seafood buffet that was just okay. We definitely were not thrilled with the pool. The water was always hazy and all 3 times we checked it out there was no pump running to keep the water circulating and clean??

It was fine but the elevator was dirty and the floor damaged. Damage to the ceiling outside the elevator on one of the floors. It just gave a bad first impression when you walk in and see that. Bathroom is small and outdated. I liked having the smart TV in the room so I could stream Netflix and Prime from my phone.

The hotel has been nicely renovated since my last visit several years ago. I really enjoyed the the suite, it gave my family the room we needed while our preschooler napped. The overall room was found in good and clean condition. The full size fridge was a nice touch and space underneath the coffee/microwave shelf was perfect for storing our beach items. The room was clean, no sand found anywhere, even the balcony. The only issue we came across was the sinks could use a little TLC maintenance-wise as the handle was a little loose on one and the other dripped if not set just right. But other than that, we really enjoyed the hotel, the amenities, and the onsite parking. The pool itself is showing some age and could use a deep clean/refurbisment, but the lounge area around was good and enjoyable. The staff was friendly and personable. We will be coming back again next year.

The hotel location is great, right along the boardwalk and the beach. Common spaces were damp. We had a huge cockroach in our room who would appear and disappear over our stay; front desk's only option was to spray the room with Raid (no thanks). Good power/USB options throughout the suite. Balcony was great. Fixtures are showing their age. Pillows are those awful mushy lumps. Probably wouldn't stay again.

Pros: View from room was gorgeous. Location to beach, beach walk and pier is excellent. Restaurant has good options and not too expensive. Con: Room was really small. Only two of us and felt cramped and crowded trying to get ready. Parking lot area is dirty, and filled with old maintenance items from hotel. The second floor hallway joining parking to hotel always stunk like marijuana. Hotel only has indoor pool, unlike surrounding hotels. It’s non smoking but we smelled smoke, marijuans the entire trip from other rooms. Overall; Lobby and staff are nice. Rooms, hallways and parking felt run down and like a 2-3 star hotel. Would not choose it again.

the blankets on the bed…. disgusting.

There were dirty towels in the bathroom when we checked in. Peeling/chipped paint everywhere. Broken, rundown furniture (credenza wouldn't close, large chip out of the front).

Clean and easy to get to everywhere. Beach is clean, hotel is spotless. We stay here every year.

Over all the stay was okay, but the Hallway to the room is dark and creepy. . Glass door to the balcony was dirty. Used coffe filter was left in the coffee machine. Toilet holder was loose, so Toilet paper was falling. Mattress is great but the pillows are thin so i had a massive headache the next morning

The first night when we stay, we woke up to ants all in the bed and on the nightstand. We went downstairs and ask for our money back they say to us we can’t get the money back because it was a 3 rd party booking. I will never stay here again

The staff was friendly and helpful. We woke up to realize there were ants in the bedding as well as other areas of the bedroom. The naval base runs test flights over the hotel, so it is very noisy hearing fighter jets fly over all day and into the night.

We really enjoyed our time here. My husband spoke to the front desk one day about a smell of marijuana that came into our room when we opened the balcony door earlier that day. It was so strong it smelled up our room and I am 6 months pregnant not to mention there is a sign in the room saying that they will charge you if they smell smoke in your room. We just wanted to let the front desk know and to explain that it was clearly not us. The man working the desk was extremely cognizant and said to just call down immediately if it happens again because they take it quite seriously. Later that evening when they got an additional complaint he stopped my husband in the lobby who happened to be down there and asked if he could check it out from our balcony. He investigated multiple floors and honestly appeared to really care. We understand that besides going to every room which we didn’t think was realistic, it’s rather difficult to figure out where it was coming from but we just appreciated him trying!

Nice hotel, but it was tight and small. The 4 of us were always bumping into each other and the 2 queen beds felt like 2 full size beds.

Our stay was good. The shower could have been hotter and more pressure but overall the location was good for us!

Everything about Hotel is fine except dated room and also very small. As an older couple we had to shimmy from bathroom to beds, it was small like a cruise ship room. If you were brushing your teeth at the sink & another person was finished at the bathroom you’d have to stand up straight at the sink for the person leaving the bathroom to get to the beds to wait for the sink to be unoccupied. The room was very dated. Plus TV was not working right, it would stop suddenly and then come on again. The view from the balcony of the beach was beautiful. The front desk people were very nice and accommodating. We didn’t use any of the property’s amenity’s ie: pool, exercise room. The restaurant was nice and the service was great.

The hotel was nice for my needs. The gym was small but ok..the pool was small also..more for kids. The best thing about the room is that I had a really nice ocean view, which was the reason for the whole trip. The room was clean but for some reason they have no trash bags in the trash cans.

Location was great & view was amazing. Had a slight hiccup with awful shower pressure but maintenance was able to fix not only ours but my parents as well quickly. We also received a follow up phone call the next morning to check up.

The room was a bit small but it was just my husband and I. We spend most of our time hanging out so that’s not a big issue. The bathroom door kinda hung out in the way of getting in and out of the room. We had a toilet issue but when we called someone came immediately. The room was neat and clean and you couldn’t get better ocean view. We were also able to check in a little early. If I had to stay here I would definitely stay.

I’ll start with pluses. Charging stations available, staff was so polite and helpful, restaurant on site was delicious and the view of the beach was perfect. Now for the bad. Rooms are dated, tvs did not work , heating unit sounded like a helicopter when it started, refrigerator was also very loud.

Title: Not Your Standard Sheraton – Clean, But With Several Issues Review: I stayed at the Sheraton Four Points with my husband and four of our children (April 2025, Mon–Sat). This is not a corporate Sheraton—it is a privately owned property that uses the Sheraton name. When we walked in, my first thought was, “What did I just book?” But once inside, the hotel turned out to be a bit of a hidden gem. That said, there are a number of things guests should know: Pros:    •   Rooms were mostly clean and well-kept.    •   Great location near the beach and attractions.    •   Comfortable beds. Cons:    •   Housekeeping: I requested a linen change midweek (Wednesday), but it was not done until late afternoon while we were in the room—an inconvenience after a full day out. My kids’ beds were never changed. I found a yellow fake fingernail under one of their sheets, which was pretty gross.    •   TV Compatibility: Streaming services like Netflix or Prime Video do not work properly if your content is in 4K—sound plays, but there’s no image.    •   Low Water Pressure: The water pressure in the shower and sink was extremely weak. No way to adjust it.    •   No Trash Liners: Trash goes straight into the bin. Not great if you have sticky or wet waste.

Not only was the staff at the hotel rude, but Expedia's service was as well. It was my first time at this hotel, and the check-in process was a disaster. During check-in, the front supervisor was rude, obnoxious, and abrupt, which should have been a red flag. The hotel wasn't busy at all, yet they continuously ran out of coffee. Additionally, the clean-up crew entered my room without any notice. Unfortunately, Expedia's customer service was also unhelpful and discourteous. I would not recommend this experience.

Everything went mostly well with property. However, the morning of check in we went out to eat breakfast and then planned to come back to check out . Upon our arrival back to our room at 10 am the house keepers were already cleaning the hotel room and moved my AirPods and charger to the front desk. I noticed when I went to gather my items at the front desk that my AirPods were flashing white. Anyone who owns AirPods knows that means someone tried to connect to my AirPods. They were no longer listed as mine and I had to connect back to them. A staff member essentially tried stealing them !

They charged two of the four of us paying for the room twice. They blamed it on bad weather the night before that knocked their computer system down. Little did they know we were in town a day early and stayed at a different hotel and the weather was perfect. Then tried to say it was because we used debit cards. Okay, all 4 of us did so why did it only happen to 2 of us? The second amount was credited back into our accounts when we checked out 4 days later but they wouldn’t refund anything for overdraft fees that our banks charged us. If you stay here keep an eye on your bank statement so the same thing doesn’t happen to you! They didn’t care at all that this happened nor were they willing to do anything to fix it.

We loved our stay here! It is off season so it was very quiet, so I can’t speak on what it’s like during the warmer months. The view from the balcony is amazing, and the area around the beach/hotel were very clean and well kept. Most shops/some restaurants around the hotel seem to be seasonal and were closed so be mindful of off season if you really enjoy walkable areas. I did have an issue at check in that was resolved. I called the property on 2 separate occasions to verify that I could pay cash upon check in as I was splitting the cost with my fiancé. I was told yes I could pay cash and have a card on file for the incidentals. Upon arrival at 11:00pm after getting off of a flight I was told I could not pay cash. The gentleman at the desk kept repeatedly asking me what the persons name was that told me this. I told him I did not have name but I told him the day and time that I called. Eventually after explaining that I had cash in hand, the banks were closed for me to deposit and that I had just traveled 16 hours away from home I was allowed to check in with cash. I have worked in the hotel industry before and have never heard of an hotel not accepting cash. Another thing to note is to make sure your door closes all the way after leaving. Our door had to be slammed shut most of our stay. Same with the balcony door as you have to mess with the lock and pull hard to open it. Overall I would definitely stay again but I would pay by card only.

The staff was terrific. I messed up and booked room for wring day. It was July 4th weekend and I arrived on Friday but reservation not till Saturday. The front desk was able to switch date at no cost, even though we booked room thru Expedia. I messed up. They fixed it. Easy peasy.

This was our second visit in 3 weeks. As always, the staff were amazing and made sure we had everything we could possibly need! We already have plans in the works for our next stay. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

My husband and I had the pleasure of having Raj to check us in. Raj was the epitome of courteous and professional - and he also provided us with outstanding and tailored customer service! We will always choose this hotel when visiting the Virginia Beach area!

Location was convenient and the hotel had a store attached and restaurant, so you didnt have to go far for food or any last minute necessities. You also get 15% off your meal, at the restaurant, if you're staying at the hotel (food was soo good btw). Overall, our stay was excellent. Nothing to complain about and we stayed there for a week!

Very clean and friendly staff. Nice location, could walk every where to gift stores, restaurants and beach. Didn't have to drive anywhere all week. Nice to stay right on the boardwalk.

An excellent location, close to every thing, great ocean view rooms- right on the beach.

Hotel is the perfect location for the Boardwalk! Staff is friendly and grounds are clean and well kept. Rooms are nicely decorated and beds were comfortable. Only drawbacks were single ply toilet paper and it takes awhile to get hot water plus pressure is a bit low.

Nice bad not great either. No free breakfast which is weird since just about every other hotel on the strip offers some type of breakfast. I went with the cheapest oceanfront hotel at the time of booking so can’t really complain. Would stay here again for the right price.

This hotel was great to stay at. My family and I were not a fan of the restaurant food. Both breakfast and dinner. My only issue is they need to make sure the food comes out hot! It also needs to be seasoned well. 👀… The hotel has a very spacious entry and lounge area. The rooms were clean. I didn’t sleep well for the several nights of our stay because the mattress was extremely firm. I could deal with that because the view of the ocean was beautiful.❤️ Housekeeping came to our room every morning to see if we needed anything which I really appreciated and everyone was very kind.

Location was great and the beach was also a great location. The room was clean and ready for us when we got to the hotel around 1 pm. Everyone was very nice. The restaurant (Jumping Shrimp) was very good food we had breakfast and Dinner. I liked the covered parking garage which was nice size spaces . maneuvering the car in the garage was a little tight but still OK.we had a great stay we will be returning
