La Quinta by Wyndham Lubbock North

The hotel needs updating. The exit doors do not look anyone can just walk in the building. For some unknown the room that was given to me had the safety lock place to keep the door open for someone to get in the room and I called out to see if someone was in the room no one answered so I opened it and the first thing I saw was the filthy restroom. I went back to the front and hit a different room.

Exterior of property was nice. The owner was extremely rude, and the interior portion of the hotel (rooms) was not in the best condition. Definitely needed to be updated and cleaned. The room served its purpose, but definitely pushing to be the 3.7 star rating that it is getting.

just be aware the property is old. Outside doors have to be pulled in order to shut, no plug in our sink drain, no trash can in bathroom. Drain plug in bath was out and when we ran the water, hair from the drain came up into the tub. Shower head was covered with hard water corrosion. No diet drinks in case to purchase. No vending machines.

No blow dryer, parts of the bathroom vanity were missing or broken. Shower matt was filthy and had mildew

Room was big, but shower had rust stains and TV in bedroom wasn't working well. Staff was no very helpful.
