The hotel on the outside is extremely run down. Elevators often smelled like throw up or dropped food by guests. The room itself was updated, but definitely not clean. The kitchen was great to have. The view is awesome. The pools were clean. The hot tubs were not clean. This property is definitely overpriced in the busy season.

The hotel room it's self was pretty nice. Outside the hotel room was not so good. The trash receptacles were located next to the elevators and you smelt it whenever you took the elevator. The towel service never had towels in the morning you always had to wait till later in the day. Two of the four adult hot tubs were broken. The swimming pools were pretty good. Workers and guests were often smoking near the hotel rooms made for an unpleasant experienced traveling to and fro. The beach area was nice and the hotel was located close to other activities. If you're planning on visiting the beach and can deal what's the exterior being not the greatest it's a ok hotel

The place was disgusting. Filthy! If a shelf came off the wall it wasn't repaired or replaced. Neither myself or my husband would walk on the bedroom carpet. Gym closed. Pool furniture old and in disrepair. What furniture that was once white is now grey. Way overpriced. Do yourself a favor and do NOT book a room here!

The hot tubs were closed, and the property needed a little bit upkeep. Our stay was pleasant, safe, and fun. The location and proximity to be beach was really good. If you book through Expedia, you probably will not get the room you are expecting.

Yall were excellent with service and hospitality. Hotel could use upgrading and restoration plus the left side of the pool where the other hot tubs did not work at all other then that everything was great !

I felt truly bamboozled when we entered this property. The pictures they used for advertising had to be photoshopped or old. There was visible dirt around the floor and floor boards. The room was tiny. The appliances have rust. When we went to use the pull out couch, there was dirty Q-tips. The glass on the door to the balcony was so dirty you could not see through it. I went to the local grocery store and bought Clorox wipes and cleaner because it was so bad and I could not stay there a week like that

My room was deplorable. It was infested with gnats when I walked into the room. The room was disgusting. Dirt mold, and rust everywhere. I tried to change Room several times and there was no vacancies.. I checked out of the room four days early and hoped I would get my money back.

The room was dirty, lots of hair around the baseboards, patio doors so dirty you cannot see the ocean view! Property is not kept up. Dirty tables at the pool. I wish I took pictures to post them here. I would NEVER stay here again. We arrived and had no toilet paper in the bathroom. Called downstairs and told them. They never brought any! Terrible customer service! Dirty furniture! Sheets have spots on them of who knows what! Disgusting! Only positive is it is ocean front so you can sit in the dirty chairs on the patio and enjoy the ocean view! Stay Away.

The building is outdated! So everything is pretty much old on the inside and the outside Our room was very uncomfortable The couches couldn’t even sit in them barely! The bed was OK The AC barely worked! We got there and we were told we can’t put the thermostat past 70! That’s ridiculous We couldn’t change it ourselves like most places, let you! We had to complain and have someone come down there and change it We could only sit on 68 It was still uncomfortable in there! The pool and the view was the best things! People seem friendly as well But I will not be returning!

Our condo was advertised as having an ocean view but was on the first floor & all you could see was the pool & sea grass. Unit was located directly across from ice machine which ran constantly, They have the thermostat locked so you can’t lower below 70 which meant we had to keep the drapes all closed as it got way too hot with the sun coming in. Outdated furniture with the condo really needing a deep clean as all of the baseboards were covered in thick dust. The guests above us let their kids run across the floor every night until midnight, sounded like a herd of cattle above us. The plus items of the property were good location, able to walk to several Cherry Grove restaurants, staff was very friendly, and there was plenty of towels, including pool towels. Very affordable so would probably stay again if we could book a higher floor where we could sit on balcony and see the ocean.

The property is not the newest on the strip but the view was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. I went on a solo trip just to get away and decompress. I could walk to the beach whenever I wanted and the bed and sofa were very comfortable. I would definitely stay again if I were in North Myrtle Beach.

I reserved a 2 bedroom with kitchen and listing said a balcony. No balcony was there . There were no other rooms available so we were stuck. Very disappointed. I enjoy sitting on the balcony enjoying the ocean.

We were happy with the room the view and the overall atmosphere of this place, some upgrades are needed but overall we will definitely stay here again. The kids loved the pool and proximity to the beach, the room was spacious and comfortable with everything supplied in the kitchen area down to the paper towels and utensils 8.5 out of 10

Location is Outstanding. Right on the beach. The room we checked into had windows leaking when it rained, so we contacted maintenance. They did move us to another room on the second day and the rest of our stay was great. The rooms were clean but dated. Needs to be updated.

Great location with a beautiful ocean view. The bed and pillows were of high quality and very comfortable. The unit was equipped with everything we needed, from silverware to a dishwasher. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent. The only downside is that the resort is a bit outdated and could benefit from some updates.

Got a text to check in online with the option to pay extra for late check out. When we got to the property, they said they don't get online info and didn't know anything about late check out. Thought I got that straight until the day we left. Twice someone tried to come in the room without knocking, even though he saw us go into the room. The property is old and in need of repairs. Also, could definitely be cleaner. Our room was on the second floor near the elevator/stairs the gate to the pool and beach was right under our window and made a loud clang every time someone went through (pretty late into the night).

All of the Staff was amazing so easy to check in and check You can walk right out of the pool area right on the beach great locations supermarket right up the street. My husband and I walked about 3 miles at night. Felt totally safe. Had an awesome time. Will stay here again.

My wife and I had an excellent stay. When we initially got there, they had staying on the 4th floor, my wife is terrified of heights so I asked if there were any rooms available on the 1st floor and there was so they immediately changed our room to the 1st floor which made my wife happy and me too (Happy wife, happy life! 😂). We were asked if we needed anything to make our stay better everything about the stay was great couldn’t ask for a better weekend.
My wife and I had an excellent stay. When we initially got there, they had staying on the 4th floor, my wife is terrified of heights so I asked if there were any rooms available on the 1st floor and there was so they immediately changed our room to the 1st floor which made my wife happy and me too (Happy wife, happy life! 😂). From the outside, it does look a little run down. The inside however was updated and very nice. Took our 20 month old for his first beach trip, the walk to the beach was short. The kiddie pool was a big hit with him after hitting the beach. The night security that checked us in was very kind and informative. I LOVE that room service does not come in during your stay to clean but they have a linen exchange if needed. 10/10. We will be staying here again.

Property told us once we arrived and swiped our card on the card reader that stared the transaction was approved that it did not go through. Lady at counter stated that this has happened before and it ahould clear after their nightly aduit and if not they would reach out. Immediately called our bank who stated the transaction was cleared and gave us a access code for validation. Went back to the front desk and they stated that they would just wait and turned down the code. Next day they never reached out. While staying there the room was not as advertised with small and limited kitchenette and only two forks when advertised that dinning and kitchen cookware was provided. There was a constant smell of marijuana and the door to the room was hard to shut and looked like the door had been tampered with before. When leaving we requested to check out a day early due to all this. Lady at counter stated the charges had still not went through and since it was a sunday the managers were not going to answer her phone calls. Instead she gave us a receipt that showed a balance owed of 400 some dollars with the number to the hotel and stated a manager named mike or steve would call the next day as this has happened before and they have been able to fix it. Following day had to call myself and was infromed by manger mike that they neved got anything and were not looking to try further. Still trying to get our money back were owed since 200 extra was taking out of our account. 0/10

Got a text to check in online with the option to pay extra for late check out. When we got to the property, they said they don't get online info and didn't know anything about late check out. Thought I got that straight until the day we left. Twice someone tried to come in the room without knocking, even though he saw us go into the room. The property is old and in need of repairs. Also, could definitely be cleaner. Our room was on the second floor near the elevator/stairs the gate to the pool and beach was right under our window and made a loud clang every time someone went through (pretty late into the night).

We have filed a complaint for deceptive advertising, safety violations, threatening and aggressive/ intimidating staff and are asking for a full refund. Your own employee actually wrote “we have to take the word of the hotel “ instead of listening to the truth .. all over 400 or so dollars. I refused the 100.00 resolution and they tried to trick my wife into accepting it after placing her in a dangerous situation with one of the hotel “staff” who was being very physically and verbally aggressive with her in an attempt at getting her to “go along” with what he was saying. Place was clean and nice, down is construction and the loud gate but what’re you gonna do. Unsure about the pool if it was open, didn’t see an indoor pool either, but overall great place for cheap :)

Let me start with the negative. Outside of the buildings is in bad need of refreshing. I know salt air accelerates damage to structures and infrastructure but these issues are manageable. Now, the positive. Location is excellent. Easy walk to Cherry Grove. Rooms were clean, well maintained and no issues. The staff was both friendly and professional. We will stay with them again.

This was our first visit with this hotel. Overall it was a good experience. They could use some updating to the rooms but their customer service was top tier and we loved the small bar in the pool area and the live band was great! Would definitely stay again.

The rooms were fairly clean and bug free!! Rooms and property are in need of updating however. It was hard to find outlets to charge devices. The phone in the room didn't work. There's definitely some repairs needed with the kitchen however the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. The matress was ok comfortable but definitely time to be replaced. Theres no alarm clock or any clocks in the room. The elevator was scetchy as sometimes the doors would close but never move. The exterior of the building needs to be power-washed and re-painted and windows need to be updated. We had an ocean view but due to condensation inside the windowpains so it obscured our view. Very easy on-property access to the beach and the shower and hose stations were perfect when you came back. There's an on-property bar at the pool that has food as well. Only open until 8pm though. Pools and hottubs were clean and there was plenty of seating with shade umbrellas. Staff were super friendly and very helpful! Free to use pool/beach towels that you can get on the second floor during the day. The sign outside the property currently says Peppertree Ocean Club.

The hot tubs were closed, and the property needed a little bit upkeep. Our stay was pleasant, safe, and fun. The location and proximity to be beach was really good. If you book through Expedia, you probably will not get the room you are expecting.

Staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was what I expected it to be. Only thing I didn’t like was the cigarette smoking from other rooms. As a non-smoker it smelled disgusting and made me want to stay out all day so I won’t have to smell that but with all being said, I’d come back again for sure! Lots of food options. Must try BIRRIA tacos from around the area!!!

I have to say… Im so happy to have booked here. I was pleasantly surprised not only with the room, but also the amenities and the staff customer service here. Staff is super nice and helpful. The room stayed packs a punch with a kitchenette, jacuzzi, living room setting, two balconies facing beach, two bathrooms, and was clean. Let me repeat, was clean upon arrival. The facility contains pool and three hot tubs with a kiddie pool and a great spot right in front of the beach with showers right before coming back into the hotel pool area. They had an outdoor bar area, but was not open during this winter season which is usual, but to note.. is a plus. This is truly apartment style setting and stay. We loved staying here and despite maybe not painted the best or doesn't seem kept as some reviews may have said, personally for the value, the staff service, the cleanliness upon arrival, amenities, and location… i would stay here again and recommend it. Loved sitting on balcony and watching sunrise and sunset. This is an honest review not paid by any promotion. 👏

Office staff was great i have no complaints towards them they have a great team my only issue was with the bar the lady who works the pool bar was very rude and racist waited 2 hours for food paid in advance and tipped her every one who ordered the same as me and my boyfriend who came out after us to order got their food when he went to ask about our food another worker said 2 hours is insane and told my boyfriend the lady didn’t put our ticket in we were never accommodated for the long wait she talked to me as if i was bother over all other than that the hotel is great

The condo was really nice regardless of being some dated. What the room lacked in cleanliness (needed to be vacuumed, and some hair in the bathroom) they more than made up for in customer service! I'm usually a stickler for cleanliness-- especially visible dirt. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was so attentive and came to look at a slow draining tub. I was very impressed with their check ins via text message. Excellent customer service.

First we went to make a cup of coffee and found there were molded grounds left in the coffee maker. Second I went to take a shower and there was HAIR stuck to the wall of the shower!! Third the floor looked like it hasn’t been mopped in months!! I was scared to go with out my shoes. The view was awesome!! Don’t think I will stay there again.
