Perfect hotel base for skiing at Elk Mountain. We were surprised at how impeccable this hotel was - so clean, nice pool and gym, friendly hosts, and really good breakfasts - with a pancake machine. Will be our go to from now on!

Nice breakfast options and enjoyed the 24 hour coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar. Comfortable room. Two small complaints: the pool was locked and we were told it was being renovated, but no sign posted about that at the front desk or the pool- I made a trip to nearby Scranton to buy a bathing suit as I had forgotten to pack one, and found the pool was unavailable after coming back to the motel and changing. We went to our room 2 hours before check out time to start packing to leave and the key cards did not work; we had to return to the front desk and have them reactivated- no explanation for why that happened

I was happy with my stay. My room (2 queen non-smoking) was clean. Check-in was easy and I was a very late check-in (almost midnight) but that was not a problem. I interacted with the front desk staff once and they accommodated my request. The pool was nice and had fun color-changing lights in it that the little kids really liked. Pool area was clean, floor was clean, towels were stocked to dry off with. There was not a hot tub. I stopped briefly in the gym which didn’t have a lot but definitely enough to get a workout accomplished. This area was also clean and with all equipment in working order. The continental breakfast was great and had enough choices to satisfy all 4 of us. There is a restaurant basically on the same property that had really good food and also nearby are a Dairy Queen and a couple gas stations that had lots of options for snacks and drinks.

I didnt like that the pool was freezing and couldnt go swimming and that the lids for the cups in our room for the coffee/tea didnt fit the cups and not enough sugar.

Great location. Really good breakfast. Room comfortable. Pics from hotel.com showed a jacuzzi but thisnlocation only has a pool. It was big, and indoors, but a little chilly. Always wish theyd heat up the water a bit. Overall nice stay and would say again. Oh. And the restsurant Deacons Tavern---super nice staff and the pizza was yummo. 15% off if u dine in that restaurant if staying w hotel.

I will not be staying here again. Our room had an insane amount of black mold on the ceiling of the shower. When I took photos brought this to the staffs attention, they didn't even apologize or offer any remedy. I have two young children and was very disappointed. My husband couldn't shower because that much mold made him uncomfortable. The breakfast was horrific. The beds have a thin sheet to cover you and that's it, no blanket or heavier top sheet. The best part about this hotel was that the parking was free. The pool was closed. The road noise was very loud in our room and the people above us were making noise until 3am.

The shower had hair in it that wasn’t ours. The room was said to be non smoking it reeked of cigarettes in the room. There was bugs on the walls. My husband got bitten on his skin in multiple spots. The carpet was wet from the mini fridge leaking. Was told the manager would have to call me for a refund, they never did.

The room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom had a serious sewage smell coming from the vents / drains that was giving me a headache and I did go down to talk to the staff member at the front desk (Christine) and she offered to move us to a different room but I assume if it's coming from the vents it would smell everywhere so what difference would it make, so, what I did was, I just covered all the floor drains and vents that were exposed with towels and it made the smell go away. Breakfast was ok with good selection of hot and cold food choices however, the coffee that is brewed single serve, out of a machine was terrible, gross, disgusting etc. It made me have to leave the hotel just to go find coffee that is so important to the start of my day as it is for lots of people. This is a 3 star for my visit but this hotel is close to a few restaurants as Deacons tavern is attached to the hotel and Tully's restaurant and bar is right next door with Krispy Kreme directly across the street so this might work nice for most people as it also has a very nice indoor pool for guest enjoyment.

I've stayed at this hotel before and never had an issue. Stayed Oct 6-8, 2025 and woke up with welts on my chest, neck and back. Thinking it was some sort of reaction to a detergent used on the sheets I didn't think much of it. But the next morning I woke up with even more welts. This time I went to a doctor and found out they were bed bug bites!! I checked out of the hotel that morning and reported it to front desk. Their reaction? "OK - have a good day." I ended up having to throw out my luggage and all my clothing since I was traveling overseas and needed to get this rectified immediately. I ended up 2 days later at my step-sons wedding in Portugal with an off-the shoulder gown - covered in bed bug bites and scratching like crazy. Just horrendous. At the very least they should have offered to pay for my luggage and clothing. Plus refund my hotel bill. And I'm betting they did absolutely nothing to rectify those bed bugs based on the front clerk's reaction (I even showed her some of my bites). This place may look nice - but be warned.

The room was ok but it had a musty smell and the air conditioner just never seemed to get cool. This hotel is convenient and price is usually good. Maybe they need to upgrade the air conditioner units.

The woman at the front desk was excellent but the bathroom was dirty. The shower smelled moldy and the water wouldn’t drain and the water temperature was tepid. Rooms facing the road are exposed to loud music from the bar.

Wonderful! Very clean lovely hotel and so affordable! Friendly staff and very close to I80 so getting around was easy. There is traffic noise from the busy road outside so I suggest requesting a room at the back of the hotel if that bothers you. Noise was minimal late at night. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was great except TV and WiFi access. TV program guide poor, WiFi difficult to access. Receptionist Christine was terrific ! She came to room to offer assistance with both issues: got WiFi resolved, TV not so much. Not her fault, TV system very difficult to navigate. Other than that, comfortable great stay. Would I stay here again ? Yes, maybe by then TV issues may be improved.

We were disappointed at check in to learn that despite booking the rooms together, they were not even on the same floor. Furthermore, the air conditioner in room 212 was not working correctly. Everyone was uncomfortable and my husband and I were up in the middle of the night because of it.

When I arrived at the facility, it had no electricity. There were 30 people standing in the parking lot at 8PM. No one was at the reception desk. I left and went to another facility. They ignored my request for a refund.

Only one person at the front desk, long, long line of people waiting to check in (other hotels have checkin on their app and doors open with your phone -bypass checkin at front desk altogether). They also apparently have only one luggage cart and whoever borrowed it that afternoon, never returned it. I had a heavy cooler that I needed to bring to the room but was not able to.

The front desk person who check me in was not happy to be at work with additude. Yhe room smelled bad had to turn the ac on to recycle the air bathroom was dirty the bed was good . The on-site restaurant had little selection and was not eatable. We went back to the bar to watch the game and the waitress and bartender was the best thing that happened here. The breakfast was totally disappointing everything was overcooked and dry.
