There was no power the day after check in from 6am through the evening. There were signs at the entrance the day we checked in however there were no alerts or information when booking the room, same day as check in.

Front checkin under construction. A say was left to look for clerk around the corner in laundry room, found clerk leaning on door on cell phone. Other parties I was traveling with had no rooms as overbooked even though he had confirmation #. This was a bus full of college athletes that needed to be rerouted 30 minutes away.

Staff was great. Rooms were nice and clean. The only issue I have with the hotel is the people smoke right in front of the entrance and you have to walk through a cloud of smoke at certain times.

The property is currently under going renovations. Our room was completely renovated, we were the first occupants. We had a king suite, it was great. Staff was very pleasant & extremely accommodating to us. We’ll definitely stay there again when in the area.

The biggest concern was the smokers right in front of the entrance. Customers have to walk through a wall of cigarette smoke to get in. The carpet and chair were stained but it was clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only reason I didn't give a 5 was because of the cigarette smoking right in front of the entrance.

The hotel is under construction. There’s dusk, construction cones/tape, a mess all over the place. The welcome mats were all stained and dirty. Breakfast was limited because it’s under construction.

Overall our room was nice. It’s a hotel that allows dogs. We did not have a dog but our room had fleas!!! Sadly staff just brushed it off when I told them.

It was not great. I've stayed at this hotel in the past. It's close to Alfred and convenient for a visit. It was under construction and very dusty. All understandable, yet next to the breakfast area where food is prepared? yuck. My room was clean but smelled musty. There are not many choices in the area.

Unfortunately, my wife had bites on her body following night one of our four-night stay. We believe they had bed bugs in room 230. This is NOT confirmed, but the looks on the cleaning and desk staff's faces were telling. We were moved to another room and we were so grateful for the accommodation (a bigger suite on the first floor), but the room was right next to the front desk's storage and work room. The night shift was very noisy throughout the entire evening, especially as they set up for breakfast. My noise-cancelling app was not enough to sleep through the night. Breakfast was not great. The area around there is not good and a bit sketchy. And, on Sunday morning at 9am, the staff pressure-washed the front of the building, including the window area of our suite. This is just not a great place to stay. This was an overall negative experience. I simply cannot recommend this motel. I will not stay there again.

Walls are WAY too thin. Kept awake by guy snoring all night in room beside me. Continental breakfast needs much improvement. On the plus side, room was clean, shower great and bed was comfy, even if I couldn’t sleep.

There was no body wash or conditioner in the shower at all. The soap on the wall by the sink was empty. Sheets were scratchy and not very comfortable. Tv said you could log in to YouTube and you couldn’t. But we did at least have a bed to sleep in and hot water when it was freezing outside so guess can’t complain to much.

AC in our room did not work, blew out warm air. Called the front desk and they sent staff to check. He agreed it was not working properly. Was told the property was sold out so our room could not be changed. I asked if they had a fan and we were given a tower fan which helped move the warm air around. The tower fan had a temperature sensor and had our room at 80 degrees. There was a window to open however the screen had a hole in in it. On a positive note, the bed/mattress was comfortable.

We had a function we had to be at at 2pm, i called during the week she said i could check in after 1pm for our rooms, i did not even need to go to the room just check in. The man at the desk told me he wasn't doing that and i needed to come back at 3. (We arrived around 2:30) We book there every single year and they have always allowed us to check in early, and i called in advance to verify as well we could check in.

At check in attendant very rude. Put in handicap room, bathroom floor cracked, sink had trickle of water, toilet filled with water and could not flush. Two nights in this room and then moved to a better room the third night. Trip was for family funeral and motel did not add any comfort to trip first two nights. Not sure will ever stay there again. Have used this motel for the last 15 years and always satisfied until this trip.

Stayed one night with my son to attend Alfred State open house. The location is convenient as we were just minutes from Alfred's Wellsville Campus. Room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Little interaction with staff but checking in/out was quick and easy. Staff friendly. Walking distance to several small restaurants and shops were you can grab a slice of pizza. Little more expensive than other hotels located closer to Hornel. Breakfast is limited and there is no pool or exercise room. Would recommend and stay there again.

It was not great. I've stayed at this hotel in the past. It's close to Alfred and convenient for a visit. It was under construction and very dusty. Check in person wasn't aware of online check in and was very unfriendly. Fortunately I had all of the email/text confirmations including the initial & confirmation texts from Wyndham. I had to completely recheck in but finally got the room. The rest of the stay was pleasant. The room was comfortable and the location is very quiet. There were several nice walking paths close by as well.

This was a very welcome stop in a stretch of PA/NY without any other hotel chains- it was clean and comfortable and after a long day of traveling it was nice to be able to just relax in a room that was exactly what you needed it to be- a safe, quiet, cozy spot.

The place was quiet, the shower was great. This is a place that you just want to spend the night and do what you need to be done and move on. Breakfast was really a minimum. There are some restaurants in town but it's really sparse. However, some of the places I ate were good. Atmosphere was friendly. And it's in walking distance of the hotel.

The heater would come on for no reason. The breakfast was terrible, not many selections. When I checked in the clerk demanded that I let her hold my Driver license, I told her I would hold it while she read it.

The hotel was clean, the bed comfortable, the location convenient to our family reunion. We stayed 7 nights. They had a sign that said they would provide clean towels every 2-3 days, but we had the same towels all 7 days. That was not a big problem since the towels dried. Perhaps they should take the sign down. Breakfast was fine with some choices. I was surprised that they had five kinds of bagels, but no cream cheese even after we asked about it. Also, we had to have our key cards reprogrammed twice and replaced the second time when they stopped working. But overall it was a comfortable, safe place to stay.
