When we checked in, they gave us a second story room with No elevators. I explained that I had a bike to get into the room but they wouldn’t change it. It was not only on the second floor but the farthest away from steps. Not a good situation at all. I will not stay at this particular motel again.

Did not think to specify a handicap room I have a bad back, but had to drag my suitcase up to the second floor because there was no elevator.

Highly recommend this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was more than adequate. The outdoor pool was large and clean. Only complaint was pool furniture needs replacing. Most chairs and loungers had tears and holes and should not have been in use. Overall, my husband and I enjoyed our stay though and we will absolutely choose this hotel again the next time we visit Deming.

We checked in early enough for the kids to swim. There are 2 signs on the gate that have conflicting times as to when the pool closes (it’s 9, btw) You get a slip of paper at check in with how many adults and how many kids you have in your group and they is your breakfast coupon. If you don’t bring it, you don’t eat. It’s a hot buffet of sausage and eggs, biscuits, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, assorted muffins and pastries and juices. The rooms was pretty spacious and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Our bathroom had a wet dog smell to it which baffled me because there was so carpet in the bathroom for a smell to stick to. There was dirt on the floor and lots of someone else’s hair, so I guess house keeping hadn’t been too thororough before us. It was a pretty nice hotel for the price and in glad we stayed there.

Clean BUT dark blackout curtains to short and we were facing sunrise. Normally wouldn’t say but for some it should be said, we got in at 1:30a due to HWY closures traffic. 2nd time staying here on long road trip and NO ICEin any vending machine and we were up at 8a due to sun brightness in our room. All employees we saw friendly and polite. Clean room just older designs.

This is a great little spot! It’s not updated, but that is about the only con I can come up with. Clean, friendly/helpful staff, breakfast was great, restaurant and bar in lobby, great grass spot for dogs in courtyard, quiet. It was a great place! We will be staying again on our trip home!

Bugs everywhere even woke up to a bug in bed, huge spiderwebs in curtains even had a spider fall onto the table under where we had food, bed spread looked like it had blood on it, looked like a finger/nail on floor so it looked like room hadn’t even been vacuumed. Called to speak with manager and to let them know we would not be staying the 2nd night and he was busy and the girls said he would call back we waited a bit called back again and front desk said he would call me back when he wasn’t busy again and I said we were packed up checking out either way and I was just going up to the front desk, so got charged for second night because it was 20 minutes after check in but I had called the front desk way before check-in and you could even see the time stamp of the video I took while walking out of the room which was clearly before check in time. Had I not waited for the manager to call me back we would’ve been out of there before check-in time so I feel like he purposely didn’t call me back so he can have that excuse that we didn’t check out until after check-in time. Manager even offered us drinks and food to apologize but when it came to disputing the charge with Expedia he changed his tune.

Would not recommend staying there again, the room layout made zero sence, the microwave did not function properly. The room was dirty. There was no working ice machine. We called ahead because we wanted to stay somewhere to swim. We were advised the pool was open when we got there. The pool was green. There was dead Beatles in the room. Beer cans all over the parking lot. The refrigerator didn’t even keep anything cold and the AC was more of a fan than air conditioned air

The best thing about this property was the staff! Everyone from the front desk clerk to the maintenance staff, housekeeping and wait staff in the morning buffet to the staff in the onsite restaurant wete the most friendly and helpful staff i have experienced in years. Kudos to the managent staff for the hiring, training and hopefully retention of the current staff as they were excellent. The facility and rooms were very clean and well maintained also. Since we have relatives that live in Deming, any future stays will definitely be here! Thank you for a very pleasant stay and experience getting to know your staff!!

Older, roadside motel. Rooms were adequate but dated. Bedspread had two old blood stain smears in plain view. Hair on bathroom vanity. Tried to sit in bar/ lounge area but open tables were still dish-covered, appeared to be under-staffed. Decided to leave bar area without ever seeing staff. That being said, the breakfast was nice and the breakfast staff were very friendly. Pulled a plate off the stack to begin breakfast buffet line and plate had old grits stuck to underside.

This is the cleanest hotel we have stayed in in years. It was safe and even though right off the freeway it was pretty soundless. They have a restaurant/bar with typical bar food that was actually very tasty. The staff was attentive and friendly. Definitely well worth a stay and if our travels bring us back this way we will absolutely stop here again.

I rated this place a bit lower for two key reasons. First, the clerk at check in was a little surly. Nothing offensive, just not welcoming and friendly. The room, while clean and comfortable, lacked available wall outlets and had not been updated to include USB ports. Worse, of the two outlets on the base of the lamp, one did not work at all. Being a CPAP user, the one working outlet was obviously used for that. I wasn’t able to conveniently charge any electronics I had with me overnight.

Quick stop one night on a longer road trip. Room was clean, so is the bathroom beds were comfortable and I’m very picky. I show up the Lysol. The room was very clean. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a cooler night, so our heater was off and on all night and very often. It would of been better to leave the fan on even when no heat, but fan shut off with heat. A little loud. You could hear the the guests come and go with the doors slamming shut. I would stay there again

The quality inn is a motel. The room they gave me faced west and to touch the doorknob to get in literally burned my hand. The ac ran the entire time i was there and never really cooled the room to where i wanted it to be. it could use an upgrade. The TV was small and on a very low table, you had to lay on your side in the bed to actually see it, raise the table at a minimum. The guide did not work and there was no channel guide to help you navigate. the beds were decent. I had read a review which said the pillows were small, it is true. The microwave was on the smaller size and the fridge on a larger size but both were ok. The toilet/shower area floor was not clean in the corners and there was hair in them.. The bathroom door was very close to the toilet and you had to go past the toilet and then close the door. The breakfast buffet - You have to give them a ticket, which i get. They brought you coffee instead of getting it yourself, same with other liquids. I think it was soley based on the fact they do not want you to take anything out with you. They had scrambled eggs, bland, bacon which was super thin, almost fake tasting (weird), they had biscuits and gravy (biscuit very sweet) plus they had waffles, hard boiled eggs and cereal. None of it was that good nor bad. I would give this place a 6.8 of 10. way too expensive for it. it should be 79$ a night tops

Honestly, I don’t understand what the hype is about on this property! I was a bit disappointed because when I read the reviews so I expected a much better experience for the price. I paid $107 while I could have stayed next door and paid $15 less. This was a motel style. The room was too small. The bathroom was even smaller, barely room to move in it, not to mention old. The rooms need a lot of updating! However the staff was friendly. So for me, Not-Quality Inn!

Stayed here last week and really enjoyed it. Not this time. When i arrived checked in with the same girl who checked me in last week and everything was fine. I got my room and there was an issue with the AC and a wierd knocking noise from the bathroom. I called and asked could i swap rooms? The girl who had been nice any other time i delt with her insisted i didn't change rooms and i wait for her to send the maintenance guy. I had just come off a 11hr drive and just wanted to unpack, go to the bar for a beer and something to eat. She said once the maintenance guy returns she will send him round. I came off the phone wondering what the big problem was? Hotel is nearly empty so i couldnt understand her attitude. I sat for 10mis then thought no I'm not happy about this,we couldnt even unpack as we knew we would have to change rooms. so we called again and she was very rude to my elderly mother when she spoke with her on the phone. My mum insisted that she wanted to change rooms and she said its company policy not to change guests rooms without the maintenance man coming round first??? I have never been told this from any other hotel if i have an issue with my room. She insisted we wait for maintenance to come who was actually on his lunch at the time so she expected us to hang around and wait for him to return from lunch. Sorry thats completely unacceptable. Different if the hotel was busy but it was empty. Only when i said i was checking out did she change our room.

I got my room and there was an issue with the AC and a wierd knocking noise from the bathroom. I called and asked could i swap rooms? The girl who had been nice any other time i delt with her insisted i didn't change rooms and i wait for her to send the maintenance guy. I had just come off a 11hr drive and just wanted to unpack, go to the bar for a beer and something to eat. She said once the maintenance guy returns she will send him round. I came off the phone wondering what the big problem was? Hotel is nearly empty so i couldnt understand her attitude. I sat for 10mis then thought no I'm not happy about this,we couldnt even unpack as we knew we would have to change rooms. so we called again and she was very rude to my elderly mother when she spoke with her on the phone. My mum insisted that she wanted to change rooms and she said its company policy not to change guests rooms without the maintenance man coming round first??? I have never been told this from any other hotel if i have an issue with my room. She insisted we wait for maintenance to come who was actually on his lunch at the time so she expected us to hang around and wait for him to return from lunch. Sorry thats completely unacceptable. Different if the hotel was busy but it was empty. Only when i said i was checking out did she change our room.

The best thing about this property was the staff! Everyone from the front desk clerk to the maintenance staff, housekeeping and wait staff in the morning buffet to the staff in the onsite restaurant wete the most friendly and helpful staff i have experienced in years. Kudos to the managent staff for the hiring, training and hopefully retention of the current staff as they were excellent. The facility and rooms were very clean and well maintained also. Since we have relatives that live in Deming, any future stays will definitely be here! Thank you for a very pleasant stay and experience getting to know your staff!!

The staff was so friendly. We took a room because the freeway was closed due to weather, so did a lot of people. The staff all took the extra load of guests in stride and had terrific attitudes everyone was well taken care of. A special shout out to the bar tender who had a bar full of folks and just herself waiting on everyone.

Everyone was amazing. Stacey the bar manager is incredible, the lady that checked us in last night is a multitasking wizard, and the lady who was in charge of the breakfast this morning made us feel so at home and welcome. Thank you for one of the best stays by far.

The staff is what made us stay 3 nights instead of one night, their friendliness and service was so good, both Mary and the kitchen and also the cleaning ladies were so nice and friendly we couldn’t hardly leave. Both of them were Christian’s and tried to help us so much.

The service at Quality Inn Deming was friendly and professional, which I really appreciated. However, the hotel itself feels quite outdated, and I found the price a bit high for the overall condition of the facilities. Still, it was a decent stopover thanks to the staff.

Got nothing but a nasty attitude from the bartender in the "Lazy Lizard" bar for the second time in two trips. Room door deadbolt wouldn't lock. Carpet was dirty. Wouldn't stay there again. Plenty of nicer hotels right next door.

Hotel located just off the highway, Walmart, gas and food is within driving distance, about 1.5 miles.. I stayed for 1 day after a long drive from Texas.. Room was spacious, clean, quiet and area was safe to spend the night.. Check-in and out was quick and breakfast was perfect.. The lady at the desk was very nice and moved me into a bigger and better room.. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to and from Texas.

This is the cleanest hotel we have stayed in in years. It was safe and even though right off the freeway it was pretty soundless. They have a restaurant/bar with typical bar food that was actually very tasty. The staff was attentive and friendly. Definitely well worth a stay and if our travels bring us back this way we will absolutely stop here again.

Early arrival and rooms were not ready, understandable. We discussed that it could be approximately one hour so we left to have lunch. Our front desk person was friendly and quickly informed us how to get in to town and the many food options available. Our room was ready upon return. Nice, clean and comfortable. Great having a an onsite bar with food options for dinner. Service was quick, accurate and friendly and food was great!

Room as usual clean, we stop here as we are driving to visit family every 1-2months. Breakfast no coffee and food was cold. I had to go ask reception for help to get more coffee made. A guest was serving herself from the wrong side of food service, no sneeze guard, hair everywhere and no gloves. Guest claimed was told ok to pack her own to go food from opposite side. Tables were not cleaned promptly, so I sat at clean BIG round table and then people pored in and I got the side eye. Had to ask again for coffee to be made and she was bothered I asked. Then bussed tables but I didn’t move to smaller table as the 2 of us had already used/dirtied our table. But normally it not the case here. It was very busy I believe due to holiday travel.

Older, roadside motel. Rooms were adequate but dated. Bedspread had two old blood stain smears in plain view. Hair on bathroom vanity. Tried to sit in bar/ lounge area but open tables were still dish-covered, appeared to be under-staffed. Decided to leave bar area without ever seeing staff. That being said, the breakfast was nice and the breakfast staff were very friendly. Pulled a plate off the stack to begin breakfast buffet line and plate had old grits stuck to underside.

We checked in early enough for the kids to swim. There are 2 signs on the gate that have conflicting times as to when the pool closes (it’s 9, btw) You get a slip of paper at check in with how many adults and how many kids you have in your group and they is your breakfast coupon. If you don’t bring it, you don’t eat. It’s a hot buffet of sausage and eggs, biscuits, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, assorted muffins and pastries and juices. The rooms was pretty spacious and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Our bathroom had a wet dog smell to it which baffled me because there was so carpet in the bathroom for a smell to stick to. There was dirt on the floor and lots of someone else’s hair, so I guess house keeping hadn’t been too thororough before us. It was a pretty nice hotel for the price and in glad we stayed there.

When you're traveling between AZ and NM, this is the place you need to stay! I had the best stay ever. The hotel is a bit old, but it is very clean! Everything in my room was neat and tidy. That is the best feeling when you're tired of driving and you just want a shower---then you get to your room and shower and rest without having to clean first. It was nice and quiet. Also, the free breakfast is amazing! I had supper at the Lazy Lizard Grill, which is right in the hotel and the food was just perfect. Wait staff was great! All staff were super nice. Wonderful place to stay!

Our flight was delayed, did not make it until next day, was charged for both days even though I explained the stress of our flights and delays. Upon arrival, restroom was dirty, room was dirty. We left and went somewhere else. Will never go back and safety was a concern. Some hotel doors looked like they had been kicked it in before.
