It was cute. The property is worn. Buckled carpets. Indoor/outdoor pool cool, but way too hot to enjoy. Exercise room way out of date, hot. Old. Restaurant on site was ok. Bar ok. Could not make many drinks due to lack of ingredients.

The staff absolutely wonderful. Now the hotel needs a lot of maintenance. The pool which you pay a resort fee or something wasn’t something we could use at all and we stayed there 10 days! First attempt and last… unfortunately a lot of people get in through the back door. Wayyy too many people more than code allows. Majority with clothes not even bathing suits, loud, large families with picnics, glass alcohol bottles on the hot tub. It was a terrible experience. We wanted to enjoy that pool hence why I chose said hotel and at the end we didn’t. The only attempt my son didn’t even had space, space! To waffle not even swim he literally hopped from on short end to the next. The la dry room was horrible, not only the space but the machines they barely held any clothes. And DIDNT a clean at all! The worst was that our a/c window unit broke, they couldn’t switch a room since they were full and we slept or tried to in a very very hot room. The room was also very dusty (like months without cleaning dusty) So yes, place great idea to have artists. Staff great but that was about it. Also we could smell pot almost always on the hallways.

We had a very nice stay at Hotel Nativo. Close to the highway and many shops. Quick drive to a lovely morning hike. Pool is a little small but has a cool indoor outdoor feature and our kids had lots of fun. Rooms were not super fancy but a good value for the price which was very reasonable. We stayed in the artist rooms which were cool (each one very unique!) but I kinda wished we had chosen the mountain view. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Depending on my travel plans I would definitely consider staying here again.
