We got into the room and it was dirty. The sheets were grimy, and the pull out couch was filled was black like substance all over. They changed our rooms and it was a little better but the hotel is run down. It smelled like dog and there was dog hair. They really need to upgrade this hotel cause the photos online are deceiving. If I would’ve known this hotel looked like this I never would’ve booked it. I was very surprised being that we’ve always stayed at other homewood suites and haven’t encountered one this rundown. It’s like a motel 6 or bestwesten now. Please read reviews before booking

I like having an outer room. Both bedroom and outer room have TVs. This hotel is showing wear, but relative to others, it was okay. We saw staff working to clean and keep things up. Our room's carpet was good compared to other places I have stayed in. I walked around barefoot and with socks instead of flip-flops. Breakfast was as good as other places but I think Homewood has more options. Wednesday evening soul and salad gathering is a great idea. Morning staff was friendly. Of course the location was good for us. Restaurants nearby and shopping. Nothing to really complain about. We stayed only one night.

I honestly don’t understand how this hotel has reviews claiming it’s “clean.” My experience was the complete opposite. The room was filthy. There was a cockroach behind the bedroom door, mold in the shower, hair on the bathroom floor, dirt caked into the corners along the bathroom baseboards, and even garbage wedged between the refrigerator and the cabinets. It reflects a complete lack of attention to cleanliness. The maintenance issues were just as bad. There was an open electrical box which created a safety hazard, and multiple ceiling tiles in the hallway were left open, making the entire property look neglected and poorly maintained. The whole hotel felt run down, and it’s obvious management has stopped caring about the condition of the property. If anyone is inspecting this hotel, they’re clearly not doing their job. As for the reviews calling this hotel “clean,” they don’t match the condition I experienced at all. It’s hard to understand how anyone could describe this property as clean based on what I saw. I can’t help but wonder whether some of those glowing reviews reflect the experience of ordinary guests. Save yourself the disappointment and stay somewhere else. There are plenty of hotels that actually prioritize cleanliness, maintenance, and guest safety. This property clearly doesn’t.
