The only nice hotel in Forest Mississippi has gone down drastically. Was once our favorite place to stay, but now we are considering staying in Meridian and driving back and forth to Forest. Everything in the hotel is outdated and needs an overall change. Not representing the Holiday brand!

Everything was okay. The only issue I had was that the bathroom has mold in the wall by the toliet and it smell like mold on the side of the bed I slept on. In addition, the swimming pool had not been cleaned.

Decor was not Holiday Inn standard. There was a jacuzzi in the room but it was broken. There was a toothbrush in the shower and the shower needed cleaning. Desk clerk was slow. The eggs were out at breakfast with still 30 min of breakfast time left so we had to ask and wait over 20 for them. She was not friendly. Ice makers were broken. Just not up to expected quality of Holiday Inn Express.

They just need to clean carpets and pool.. very nice and friendly people. But property needs lots of maintenance and repairs.. for 2 years the pool have been green and it’s too hot in Mississippi to not be able to cool off in the pool

Hotel seemed clean but there is a smell of musty, mildewy air inside. My room was way worse. It smelled so musty it was hard to sleep. My skin felt sticky and damp. I usually stay at Holiday inn so I'm guessing it maybe just the humidity of the area

Just an overnight stop on a cross country road trip. We arrived late and the room was HOT. Most don’t air condition rooms prior to arrival so it wasn’t that big of a deal……until it NEVER COOLED OFF. Older property where you still change the air on the actual unit under the window. It displayed the temp as 77 upon arrival and even with it set at 65 it never got below 77 in the room. There was no wall thermostat so this was not user error in case you’re wondering. Miserable nights “sleep” when you can’t get comfortable

All went well with our stay. The reception staff was effective and quick to check us in. Breakfast was very good and our checkout was also quick. The noise from the A/C unit in the next room was loud, but I guess we were tired from the road trip that after a few minutes we did not hear it.

Like so many other hotels, they've gone to a FIRM mattress on the beds. They do this because the firm mattresses last longer. But shouldn't the comfort of the guest be more important? The firm mattress makes my back hurt and my body sore. And the 'soft' pillow was as hard as laying my head on the floor. The breakfast Saturday was over done and Sunday it was cold. Usually the breakfast is good. We have stayed at this hotel many times and it is usually good. We will likely continue to stay there when we are in Forrest. It's still the best hotel in town.

I like that the hotel is close to the casino, but it needs upgrading. The outlets are no good or don’t work. Cheaper hotels at least have a microwave and/or mini fridge. The rest of the facilities are nice.

I had made my reservation thru Hotels .com for a king rm with a handicap roll-shower for $146.59. When i checked in and found I had a tub rather than a walk in shower i checked at front desk why? They said they only had one room like that it got double booked and the other person checked in before me so they got the room. I was not happy and could not take a shower from a tub!!

We enjoyed our overnight visit on Friday, June 9, 2023. The room was clean, AC worked well, shower was clean (always a plus). The continental breakfast the next morning was great! Lots of variety in the options, fresh and hot.
