My overnight stay was just what I needed with one notable exception: no gym! It may have been mentioned on the website, but I missed it. I got a workout in my room so it’s not a huge deal, but for others like me who like cardio and weights, know that to get that, you have to go to an outside gym. i think they will provide you a voucher.

The shuttle was key as the train station is closed. The bar was perfect to relax and watch tv also starbucks coffee! Parking garage reasonable rates and convenient.

I didn’t like that there was construction surrounding the property which made it awkward to enter. You had to enter the hotel via the attached parking lot and walk over a connecting bridge. Also cabs were unreliable according to the staff and you had to wait for cabs in front of the parking area.

The property was very clean, staff were all friendly and helpful, the cafe in lobby was handy, and parking was convenient on the 5th floor of garage with a door directly in to the lobby. Great water pressure in the shower too!

We booked the free shuttle service to get to a play. We were told it would arrive in 10 minutes. We were still waiting 25 minutes later. No one came to inform us. We had to go back upstairs to the desk and ask. We were told the supervisor needed something, so it was delayed. We had to pay for a Lyft and rush to make it to the play.

You cannot easily enter through the front, as parking is limited to the street. You must enter using the parking garage in the rear of the building. You drive to the fifth level (marked "Hotel" parking), which is the third level of the hotel. You must figure out how to self-pay at the kiosk, but there is no charge in the late evening. I had to rise before 7:00 a.m. to pay for the next day. There was a line of us at the kiosk at 6:55 a.m. to pay for the morning parking before we were fined for failure to pay. It was too much of a hassle, and we shall not be staying there again.

It was nice. A bit confusing to find the entrance. They should have more signage stating to use next door farage to 5th floor. Also parking was not free and a bit confusing to pay w an app. We needed a code to log the car plate etc…

Modern, clean hotel. Room was comfortable and good lighting. Prime location to downtown Silver Spring. No free coffee, must pay for Starbucks at their cafe. No gym. Odd entrance with small door, no luggage carts to lug in suitcases. No entrance from street level. Had to walk in rain to an elevator through the parking lot just to enter the hotel. Entrance is locked so we rang a bell multiple times to check-in, since we hadn’t gotten the hotel fob yet.

Booked a month in advance for 5 nights but still got room overlooking ac units and garage. Room wasn’t cleaned until 4th day, at my urgent request but still had to wake up Mother’s Day, go to the lobby and get my own clean towels. Drawers weren’t working properly. Reported it but after finding out the engineer had to complete the job, I said not to repair during my stay. Engineer entered my room without my consent so my privacy was invaded. Requested another room the 2nd day of stay but it never happened. For a couple of days, there was a foul smell in the hallway and elevators. Plan to dispute the total charges as you didn’t perform all of your end of the contract by providing a clean room.

Parking garage very convenient to hotel entrance via a walkway. Security seems good ...requiring a authorized room key to get to your floor. Clean, with the exception of two of our pillow cases that had some spots on them.

Room cleaning was a miss..never emptied ice bucket and replace glasses or coffee cups. Did not replace coffee and left dirty ice bucket tray… did not replace empty shower gel. Front desk, bistro employees, and security staff are awesome. Had bad shower value in room 404, staff got me in new room in 30 mins. And offered to move everything for me. Much appreciated!!

Staff was OK. They werent really friendly until i gave them my Bonvoy # and they realized my status. Parking is in a public parking garage that you need to pay for using the Park Mobile app. The hotel is WORN OUT. It desperately needs a renovation. Stained carpet, stained loveseat, outdated and chipped tile in the bathroom, dark and dim room. HVAC was great...that was really the only good thing about it. Conveniently located.

Only stayed 1 night for quick trip to DC exhibit. The hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable - the most important stuff. We had problems connecting to wifi. Call to desk helped a little but not much. IPad never connected... phones eventually did. The whole sign in geared toward Marriott rewards customers. What I really hated was going to lobby for morning coffee and tea. Used to this being provided, here it was $$tarbucks only. No thank you. No free breakfast but that we knew.

The hotel stay was very good. It was clean, and they allowed me to check in early. The room was spacious and clean. The only issue I have is not having a microwave in the room. In case we wanted to heat our food up. Instead of having to come downstairs to the front desk to heat up food.

Guests were not informed in advance of the lack of curbside entry in front of hotel, and the requirement to park around the block in a parking structure. Due to multiple street closures, it was difficult to locate hotel entry and lot. Worst of all, there was NO internet access during our stay. NO communication about it from hotel staff. Guests should have been given a discount on their rooms due to the internet issue! Staff was barely engaged when problems brought to their attention. No apology for any of the issues noted above.

Love this location and had mostly great service. But had a small emergency that was going to keep me in Silver Spring an extra night. When i went to the front desk to ask about extending my stay, i was told they could not extend bc i booked third party. Completely understandable. When i asked if i could just book the extra night as a new reservation i was told yes, but they couldn’t do that for me at the front desk. I needed to do it online or call marriot’s reservation line. “You need the number?” This was most unhelpful and not a customer friendly policy. I just booked another hotel instead.

The hotel itself was clean and sufficient. As of my stay in July 2025, the entire neighborhood around the hotel is under construction. We drove around for probably 25 min trying to figure out how to get in to check in. We finally found a sign that said "Courtyard Silver Spring Entrance This Way" and turned down a road with no parking that dead ended in construction with an entrance to the hotel that you couldn't access without a key card. Thankfully another guest let us in so we could get to the front desk and get some direction on where to park and access the hotel entrance. The entire ordeal put us in a bad mood after taking nearly an hour to check in. While my SO moved the car to the correct location, I did attempt to get us a drink at the bar and gave up after being ignored by the only staff member working there for about 20 minutes.

The entry was confusing and not well marked...to a odd elevator with no signage to an uncertain location while leaving car on a busy questionable street. To a desk that was 1 hard working but very overwhelmed person...providing unexpected directions on how to park, etc....all afterward leading to an unexpected parking charge....Glad I wasnt toting my luggage the whole time, but leaving it unattended not so good either.....longest check in this 10 year Gold had had....

I stayed at another hotel when I attended a workshop last year with a grimy, old room and neglected pool area. The sounds of the guest next door kept me awake most of the night. I decided to try the Courtyard even though it had less amenities. I am so glad! My room was clean and quiet. I was only disturbed once by another guest knocking on our door accidentally. While this hotel did not have the same amenities, it did not matter! I did not need to eat/drink here because there are so many other options just outside the hotel. Close to everything I needed: Whole Foods, restaurants, CVS, clothing retailers, and the class I was attending. Parking was considerably less than the other hotel!!!!!! Very walkable, safe, clean city.

Location location location… this hotel is basically part of an outdoor mall so everything is steps away and really convenient! The hotel is showing its age but it’s clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I parked at a meter over night a block away and had no issues. Room was comfortable and worth the price.

This place was great for my longer stay. Its in a nice and convenient part of town, and since I was bound to walking more, it was easier to get food for myself and spend my time elsewhere. The breakast and dinner here are also fantastic. Definitely worth the price for everything. I will say, the only qualm i had was with the fridges; theyre in the smaller side, but at Most its a nonissue. I still lovwd my stay, and the room was much bigger than i usually get for a hotel in Silver Spring. Definitely recommend if you can catch a deal or spend the extra money.

The hotel is located in the center of everything and in walking distance. The hotel staff was very friendly and super nice. This hotel is clean and quiet. I didn't like that there is no complimentary breakfast.

The food options are limited - it’s almost like you shouldn’t offer food. Front desk couldn’t communicate dining options around the hotel. I had to call the front desk and ask where to park there’s no signage
