Convenient, rooms were large, indoor pool and hot tub were great, although the hot tub needs some repairs and the game room has old games and mostly broken and no pu k for the air hockey game, as well as the pool table was out f order, it had no balls

This place was comfy and clean. We loved our room, very spacious and cozy. The pool was nice but the hot tub was too full of chlorine that it burned the eyes. They should definitely test better for chemicals. Breakfast was good/decent. My son is allergic to dairy so I wish they had non-dairy milk available. Great place for families.

Older but updated motel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Heated indoor pool, indoor hot tub and cooler water in outdoor pool. Lots of grassy space to walk through. Picnic tables and volleyball net. Quiet area even though the road is busy. Great, loud (in the restaurant-couldn’t hear from hotel) and very busy restaurant next door. Free breakfast, Mini frig, microwave, lots of space. Negatives - Shuffle ball court needs some weed control in order to be able to use it. Window screens full of holes and desperately need replacing. Overall, it was great for us and we would stay here again.

Second time staying there. 5 minutes from the Cape Cod canal. Indoor pool, outdoor pool, arcade, volleyball court, laundry, continental breakfast, tavern next door, super Stop and Shop across the street just a fun place to come back to after a day exploring the area. Should be rated a five star hotel for the price and the accommodations.

Great location. Close to Borne bridge. Complimentary breakfast. Pool and hot tub was nice. Room was adequate with standard amenities, including refrigerator, sink, iron & iron board. Wifi was adequate. I would stay here again.

No room keys available at time of check in. Room was very dirty with food on floor and on bed sheets. Hair on nightstand. Family locked out of the building after check in process with no access to room due to properties inability to make room key at time of check in. Unpleasant smell throughout facility. Breakfast was decent.

The hotel photos are very misleading on the website. The place is very dirty and run down. There was mystery red splotches on the wall in the bathroom and on the door that were so disgusting I cleaned them myself. The doors were so dirty with dust and seemingly years of build up. It was clear that people had previously smoked in the room as the lamp shades and walls had brown stains on them. I understand this isn’t a fancy hotel but it was really how dirty the room was that got me.

Everything was fine, room was big. Corner room away from everyone. Only bad thing, bathroom floor was dirty and had long hair in a few places. I'm a male and traveled alone. The shower also had hair in it.

Sandwich Lodge is always clean every time I go with friendly staff⭐ They cooould use some new squishy pillows and less sugary juice in their cozy breakfast area, but those are the only critiques I have because it is the best, affordable place to stay on the Cape🤙 perfect location too*

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Only issue, was that it was a bit "loud". You could hear movement in the rooms above and behind. Not that the people were loud, but the wood frame construction did not dampen the sound of movement enough.

Room was spacious enough for our family specially the living room. Humidity hard to get out of the room. Small continental breakfast but replenish often, so enough food at all times. Two big pools. Ping pong table, pool table and arcade room.

The room was fine, but the walls are thin and we were next to the pool. It was very loud right up until the pool closed at 10 PM. We had an early morning departure and didn't get much sleep. Otherwise, beds were comfortable and it was nice to have a separate bedroom from the sitting area. There was no A/C in the bedroom, just a weird fan in the wall between the living room and the bedroom, which light shined through if someone was in the living room while another was trying to sleep in the bedroom. There's also no elevator. It was no problem for us, but guests with mobility challenges be sure to request a first floor room. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If we are in the area again, I would stay again but I would require a corner room on the outside, not on the poolside.

The room was large and comfortable, the beds were great. Only issue was that the mini fridge had a constant, loud hum that made it hard to sleep. Also could use 1-2 more chairs for the eating area since there were 3 of us in the room.

This was a great place to stay. Nice indoor and outdoor pool areas. Hot tub was funky though. Room was spacious and comfortable. Air conditioner was the kind that blasts and then stops so cooling is inconsistent and loud.

We were assigned a wheelchair-accessible room on the first floor that smelled musty. I had to leave the sliding door open to air out the space. ( no screen on the door, hence mosquitoes and flies) Although the bathroom was large, it was poorly ventilated and remained damp after showering especially the floor. (Probably causing the smell) The breakfast was plentiful but offered limited variety each day by the lodge. It was a low-end continental buffet.

The electric outlet was melted in the room. There were holes in the face cloth and barely more than a drip came out of the shower head despite trying to adjust it. I could of looked past that; but the staff was unfriendly and extremely rude. They have a self serve breakfast buffet from 7:00am to 10:00am in a small room off the lobby. My 7 year old son and I went in there at 9:40am to grab breakfast. I made my son a waffle and we sat down. The lady from the front desk came in slamming chairs up on the tables giving us dirty looks as she was cleaning up the buffet. She left for a few minutes and came back at 10:05am and sharply told us that we had to clean up and leave immediately as the room is closed. This was unacceptable and unprofessional. I have never been treated with such disrespect at a hotel/motel before. A friendly smile, maybe a good morning and simple request would of sufficed.

When we arrived we were given our cards for the door. The person at the desk was very accommodating. We were having trouble with th tv and heat pump, and the person came up immediately and got them to work. Everyone was accommodating . Great stay.

Stayed for a quick one night on a work trip. The woman at the deck moved my room because there was a large group in the area of the room I booked. I appreciate that since I was there to get some rest and go back to work. Other than sleeping and eating breakfast I didn’t have much time there. It serviced the purpose of my visit.

We are currently pursuing a refund and reimbursement for medical expenses due to high chemical use for the linens. As well as no privacy provided from the bathroom door which would not shut, or the bathroom window which can be easily viewed into. The chemicals have caused such irritation to the eyes medical attention was necessary. To reduce contact with the linens we removed the pillow case and discovered a dried blood stain that did not come from us. No information or aid was provided by the front desk, and they refused to contact their manager on our behalf to discuss the manner. On top of this their is false information regarding their guest washer and dryers, the door locks are flimsy at best- unsafe for a motel style establishment. The indoor pool room was filled with high amounts of chlorine. The staff requested an early check in fee despite guaranteeing our room was ready, and despite the establishment not performing daily housekeeping. You must return your soiled towels to the front desk and swap them out. If you request for more than what is provided in the hotel you will be met with "no, you can return the towels and receive more". Highly recommend to stay away from this place. And do your due diligence. I was sad to see the harsh and rude responses to other poor reviews.

Close to the beach. Seafood Sam’s is a great option for lunch or dinner if you want an easy place to eat. Fisherman’s View is amazing…be sure to make reservations in advance. The view overlooking the canal is beautiful. Seeing the fishing boats is the added bonus especially the Chelsea Girl. All within a short distance from the hotel.

The Sandwich Lodge is very clean, safe and affordable. The location is very accessible to other towns on the Cape and the Town of Sandwich is a beautiful, quaint New England town. The staff at the Lodge was very pleasant and helpful. My daughter and I stayed in a roomy suite that also had a small kitchen equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave. I would highly recommend staying at this lovely Lodge.

This an excellent place to stay, have heated pool and hot tub. I give a vote a c- for their breakfast, too simple, not enuf choice. Should add boiled eggs and oatmeal. Their coffee isnt so bad.

Stayed for two nights. Front desk staff were excellent!! Breakfast provided was fine, nothing fancy. For the price, couldn’t have asked for more. Very reasonably priced for this time of year. Would definitely visit again.

This was our 3rd year here. 1st year we loved it ! 2 pools-breakfast-good rooms. 2nd year it was under some construction with room keys etc. breakfast was not has good. 3rd year good stay but the breakfast as gone down hill. The front desk is also the breakfast person and that can be challenging and the quality of food was subpar at best. Over we will still come here but will just eat out for breakfast.

Our room was very spacious and had a big jacuzzi tub. We stayed four nights and had the option of housekeeping once during the stay. We had a balcony that overlooked the indoor pool and hot tub. We did not use they, but they looked great. We exchanged used towels for fresh ones easily. The halls, staircase, and doors all needed a good cleaning. The breakfast had sausage, eggs, couple of cereals, waffles, yogurt, assorted breads, juices, coffee, etc. Location was great and enabled us easy access to various places. I would definitely say it is family and business friendly, not sure about laundry and did not see any pets.
