I booked online through hotels.com and paid for a room the day before and got my confirmation #. When I went to check in I had to talk to someone through a kiosk. I gave them my ID to find my reservation. He then asked for a 50$ deposit. I paid the deposit and exactly rite after he said he didn’t see where I paid for The room online so he told me to call Expedia. I did NOt even reserve my room through Expedia. Hotels.com doesn’t have a customer service # everything is automatedor AI. I told him I got a confirmation # and an email asking me how was my check in. The guy through the kiosk kept saying he couldn’t find where I already paid even though I’m trying to give him the confirmation # he didn’t want it. I then asked will I get my deposit back he said yes if you call to cancel the reservation. It was already past check in time so I couldn’t cancel the room. How Can you not Find a reservation but still ask for a 50$ deposit. I end up paying cash for a room instead of going somewhere 80$ cash vs the 60$ online i already paid!! And there are roaches in the room

The price was over 100 dollars more than I was quoted on hotels com and when I said something at the kiosk he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about and refused to budge on the price. Other than that, it was a clean and modern room.

The pool has a cement slab over it.

There was blood on the sheets and my daughter got ate up with bed bugs I really want a refund
