The elevator was rough riding, kept feeling like it wasn’t ever going to open up. The pool was supposed to be a warm pool. It was cold as all get out the last day they had nobody there for the breakfast to serve. I’ve had stayed it better places.

One of our only major complaints was the pool was freezing. My 5 year old will swim in almost any water but this was too cold for him even. Called before booking to see if pool was open (couple days before visit) I wish they would have just said it was closed. Cause what we thought would be something we could all do while there ended up just being disappointing for our son and us.

We did not have hot water asked for our room to be moved. The staff was very nice moved us to another room and again no hot water. The pool wasn’t available to use. Breakfast on the weekend was available ran out and barely refilled. Definitely would not recommend this hotel. When I explained the hot water situation the response was really? Nobody else has said anything.

We love staying here has become tradition to celebrate Christmas with my kids and granddaughters at this hotel. The king suite is very spacious, friendly staff, close to stores and places to eat at, good breakfast selection and pool always open. So thanks for giving us a nice place to celebrate the holiday together

This hotel has poor housekeeping. My room was dirty and it looked like the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed, the shower hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and there were stains from spills around the base and side of the bed on both sides. On the days during my my stay that I wanted my room cleaned it wasn’t. I was only given clean towels, but they didn’t clean my room or even make the bed. There was also on open crawl space in the hallway right outside my door. The attic was open and insulation was showing. Staff seemed friendly, but this hotel is very poorly managed. One other guest I met told me the swimming pool was ice cold.

There were dirty wash rags left in the shower and I was particularly upset about my request for assistance in my ada room and when I was asked what I needed after I told him he said there was no one available to help me. Have a good day. Well I won’t because I can’t get downstairs without assistance. After mustering the strength to get downstairs one of the guest in the lobby asked me did I need help I said yes and he helped me and this is while I’m almost in front of the front desk. So sad.

I have stayed here multiple times and it seems each time things have gotten worse and worse. During this stay, when we showed up I had to use the restroom. When the toilet wouldn’t flush properly I called the front desk about it someone showed up to the door and handed me a plunger to fix the toilet myself. I explained that there was nothing in the toilet it just wouldn’t flush he jiggled the handle some and it started working. Also in my last two stays the shower itself wasn’t actually cleaned. It appears to have been rinsed but there were still things in the walls of the shower.

The staff and room were nice. The property is best hotel in the area. The beds were uncomfortable and creeky. It was difficult to move without waking others up. The bathroom was ok but needs updating and deeper cleaning.

The check in process was quick and easy. The front desk staff was super helpful and extremely nice! Room was very clean, beds were comfortable and breakfast was great. If I had to give any feedback; the electric blinds on the window in room 212 didnt work. Not an issue for us, we just niticed they wouldnt open. Also the hot food supplies were running low when we got down there at 915 (breakfast ends at 10) and nothing was refilled. It didnt effect us- but I felt kind of bad for the people that came down after us. Again though all the important things to us and our expreience was wonderful. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend.

The hotel itself was wonderful. The desk clerk was not there when we arrived. After 5 minutes he arrived with drinks from across the street, we checked in and came down and he was standing outside smoking. Not sure whether it was Expedia or the hotel, but when we book the hotel it said one room remaining. The was less than 20 cars in the lot!

It was very comfortable. We moved from another hotel innthe middle of the night due to roaches. It was nice to be in a comfortable and clean place. Great customer service even checked to see if room was clean before we checked in. We will be back.

To say this hotel is sufficient is an understatement. From delicious breakfast food to kind staff and clean rooms, our stay was wonderful. If you are visiting Gas city and looking for a safe, clean, and enjoyable stay definitely choose Holiday Inn Express. Also very convenient off the highway, and the coffee is amazing!

We stayed at this property from out of town for a concert. The property was clean, and quiet. Staff was friendly and willing to assist with any needs. It was a quick stay so not much time spent at the property. Only cons with the property was there was not much dining or things to do within the immediate area, and one of the walls in our room looked like there was damage, then repaired and they did not color match correctly or repaint the whole wall.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Gas City, IN was nice. The service was good and accommodating. Everyone there was so friendly and cordial. We really enjoyed the breakfast. There was a college football team there during my stay. Those young men were eating a lot and the service didn’t go slacking. I was very impressed with the preparation and quality of the hot food. We will definitely be staying there again!

It is great to find a roadside hotel that is the same, but just a little better. Front desk service is friendly and efficient. Air conditioning controls work and the unit isnt noisy. All the lamps work and there are enough of them. Room has an Extra set of towels. Coffee at breakfast is better than average, bread products are fresh, cinnamon rolls are hot... Exceeded expectations.

I was there for a graduation and the hotel was wonderful. Breakfest was pretty good. However the omlette was a little on the cool side. Very good though. Check in and check out was smooth and very friendly employees. Thank you and see you next time.
