Of all the times I’ve stayed here, the carpet in hallways and rooms are still dirty and disgusting. It doesn’t look like they have ever cleaned them. The couch in room is dilapidated and worn. The seats in the dining room are losing their covering. I do enjoy this property but for a Hilton owned hotel it’s really going down hill. I’m not staying there anymore.

The upholstery needed cleaning. The a/c didn’t work when we arrived. The maintenance man tried to fix it, but ended up replacing it. According to the maintenance man the new unit went through its complete cycle including the heating feature. Which filled the entire room with a “burnt smell”. We called the front desk and requested another room. They said they were completely booked full. So I went down to the front desk in person, and requested a refund. The young man said they had just received a cancellation, and they had a room for us. The new room was great. I think everyone tried their best, but I had a hard time believing that the every room was reserved on a Wednesday. Also, we’ve stayed in your hotel on several occasions including weekend stays. We’ve been in your breakfast area when Bloomington had a softball tournament, and there were softball players all over the place. This morning there were hardly anyone in the breakfast area for your free breakfast. Which tells me you had rooms to move us to.

The front desk staff was very helpful during check in and checkout. The breakfast was nice. The rooms were nice. The hall carpeting was stained.

The carpet in the room was kind of gross. It looked clean but when I walked in it barefoot it felt nasty… almost sticky. Pillows sucked.
