Everything was ok other than the elevators. Only one elevator was working and the people had to line up for quite a long time. Breakfast area was very good but experienced the same elevator problem. It was really annoying.

Staff was so friendly. Kindness factor off the chart. The breakfast in the morning was fine! It did the job. The gym equipment was simple but again got the job done and was in good condition - it is WARM in there, though. Bed was comfortable, and the shower was nice. Location is convenient to the subway- outside of it isn't fantastic but the price was very good.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. My biggest issue was the parking. The hotel has a garage but spaces are very small and limited. I paid for a spot for one night and then couldn’t fit my Jeep grand Cherokee in any of the available spots. I ended up parking on the street among broken beer bottles. I was not happy about that. Just wish more safer parking was available

This is an ideal hotel for anyone visiting New York. Very close to the city and way more affordable than Manhattan or Brooklyn. Amazing continental breakfast every morning. And the best part, they provide a free shuttle to and from the nearest metro train station (7 line) directly to Manhattan. The rooms are well kept every day. We'd wake up and go to bed to beautiful views of the skyline from the window. Completely worth every penny and better than any other options.

The hotel is brand new and so the rooms.ans common areas are in excellent condition. The staff was also very nice and super helpful so my complaints are not with them at all! The primary issue is that the two elevators are not sufficient for the hotel capacity. I found myself taking the stairs after waiting 10 minutes. That is more than enough time to miss your Uber etc. People who need elevators should be aware of unusual wait times to get up and down the hotel. Since the title is brand new it makes me question what kind of design flaw this is. it really must be addressed because it will only.get worse over time as the elevators get older..also the breakfast items were not available during the entire period. i mean, completely empty chafing dishes. That's just sad..

The room was very dirty. We arrived with the bathroom being very dirty with body fluids on the toilet seat and around it. There was also what we assumed was another form of body fluids possibly blood on the pillows. We removed the pillow and left it on the ground and when the beds were made they put it back on the bed. Very unhappy with how we arrived to the room.

Staff was friendly, hotel was clean but the room floors were very sticky which could be due to cleaning solution or incorrect type of mop for floor type. Had multiple friends stay at the same hotel with the same complaint. Other than that, breakfast was good and check-in was quick.

The balcony view, while it has wonderful views of the city, it also overlooks an extremely loud highway, so it was impossible to get a restful night’s sleep. The hotel appeared to be mid-construction, with materials and equipment scattered around. The garage was extremely small, and half of it was taken up by construction supplies, making parking a real challenge. The bathroom was in poor shape — the showerhead was broken, water pressure was almost nonexistent, and most of the water came out of the faucet instead of the shower. To top it off, cleaning of the lobby floor was done during checkout hours, so the freshly mopped floor was immediately ruined by everyone tracking dirt across it. Overall, the property felt disorganized and unfinished. Definitely not the relaxing or comfortable stay I expected.

Loves this hotel. I was able to check in early which was amazing. The room was spectacular. Nice and clean. Modern decoration and vibrant. I had a corner room so I had amazing views of Manhattan and Brooklyn! Some of the best views I e seen of NYC! The staff was very friendly, helpful, professional and courteous. Was a great stay. Will stay again.

This is a new building and although clean and the staff is great. There are a number of issues that need addressing. The window in my room had a large gap at the top. During my stay it was below freezing outside so I had to keep the heater cranked up at all times. After a a couple days of this the heater started producing some awful noises making it difficult to sleep. Pulling up on the shower diverter does not seal properly leaving you with low pressure in the shower. Saturday morning until afternoon I had to listen to construction in the room above me. And least of all but still worth noting the lobby had an unpleasant smell. You couldn't smell it once in the elevator and I am sure it is a result of the newness of the building and will fade with time. On the plus side the bed was comfortable, there is a good deli around the corner, and it's near some main roads/highways making getting around pretty easy.

The room is clean but there is no house keeping entire the stay even we didn’t put any sign not to. Blanket is too thin and the mattress is not really comfortable. I paid extra to have good room but the room is tiny and it is 20 mins to the closest train station

Hotels.com and Holiday Inn are about to loose a customer for $105...

Our check in process was much below expectations. At first it took a great amount of time to check in and when we were handed the keys to the room we went all the way upstairs and it didn’t work. After coming back down they said they just forgot to update the key card and told us to go back up to try again. Upon trying again we entered the room just to find out someone else was already in there which put us in a compromising situation. We had to again go back down and the staff was nice enough to upgrade us for our inconvenience however we felt unsafe the rest of the night not knowing if someone else would be given access to our rooms in the middle of the night. This compiled with the not so safe makes it even more of a concern. The staff and the registration system should be well trained. Putting us and that other hotel resident in that situation was absolutely unacceptable.

The hotel is relatively new in construction but the location is horrible. It's a30 minute walk to the nearest subway. I don't recommend walking the area after dark. Also, there are no restaurants near the hotel. On the 1st night, around 1am, heard a click at the door. Someone trying to open the door. Luckily, the door bracket was used lock, so the door could not be fully opened. Turned out, the staff issued keys to new guests to our room. In the morning & before I headed into the city for work, my key was not working. I notified a staff regarding what had happen last night as well as request a working key. He apologized on the intrusion. As he tried to reissue a new key, he could not find my reservation in the system. They had another guest with the same first name in my room. After proving my reservation, he re-issued a new key & said he would update the system. Then made sure to add the names of my family to make sure they had access too. At 3pm, I received a frantic call from a family member that multiple housekeeping staff ask her to vacate the room since its records show us staying only 1 night. I tried to call the hotel directly but no one answered the phone. So, I had to ask the family member to bring her phone down to speak to the front desk. Lastly, we noticed a marijuana odor on our floor and it was obvious. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel.

I had a safety issue with another resident whilst staying here and overall the situation was handled poorly, Andrea at the front desk was very unprofessional and unwelcoming for being 'head of front desk' another member of staff here sent an inappropriate text message regarding his job and different situation he got himself into. I stayed here for 8 days and the last 4 days were ruined completely due to the situation, I had to essentially hide from the other guest causing the issue and it created a lot of stress and anxiety. I'd expect that a more professionally run hotel would at least apologise for the inconvenience and offer a refund for the days affected. The majority of the staff seem to have no knowledge of running a hotel business and the whole feel of the place is rather juvenile.

Great property opened last year from what I was told. Very clean and well kept. The neighborhood is industrial so a lot of factories are around. Manhattan is only 10 minutes away by car which helps if your on vacation.

This hotel is almost new! It's in a super convenient location to access most of Brooklyn and is a very short drive to LaGuardia airport. It was very clean. I would have given it 5 stars except for two minor complaints. The wait for the elevators was, at times, very long, but that's a minor complaint. I was not happy that I was asked if I needed garage parking and I said yes. I think I should have been told that there was plenty of free on-street parking surrounding the hotel, if I wanted that option, before shelling out $44 per night for a wide open garage. I'm not against making money on parking, but give the guest an educated choice first.

The service upon arrival was excellent, as was checkout. Our room was clean and comfortable with an excellent view of the city. I would return to this hotel. It's located in a storage and warehouse area, so the surrounding area isn't very pretty, but if you're taking the train, you'll find a station about a five-minute drive from the hotel. Continental breakfast is included, which isn't bad.

The hotel itself was nice however, the location was not the greatest. They run out of garage parking and had to park on the street which was a bit skeptic.

The hotel is perfect, and I will stay here again if I ever have the opportunity. However, I would not walk outside the hotel and would only use Uber/Lyft or the shuttle provided by the hotel to get to the Metro. Unfortunately, I saw some 'illegal activity' happening near the hotel.

It is a new hotel so it was clean and had an "untouched" quality to it. The free breakfast was understaffed and the food selection ran short. The front desk staff didn't always communicate clearly in English. And the location, while quiet, was in a really isolated and industrial, almost spooky, part of Queens.

Cons: There was only one elevator working for 2 days of our 3 day stay. The elevator took almost 20 minutes at one point to get to our floor (12th floor). The cleaning staff had to utilize it and took up it's use most of the day. The breakfast was good, decent selection. Only complaint would be that the Cinnamon rolls were completely raw. Not undercooked, RAW cold dough. Pros: Our room was very clean. We loved that the window in the room opens slightly to allow fresh air in. Also, the view of the skyline from our room was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Overall, I would stay again if I had to travel back to the area.

This is an ideal hotel for anyone visiting New York. Very close to the city and way more affordable than Manhattan or Brooklyn. Amazing continental breakfast every morning. And the best part, they provide a free shuttle to and from the nearest metro train station (7 line) directly to Manhattan. The rooms are well kept every day. We'd wake up and go to bed to beautiful views of the skyline from the window. Completely worth every penny and better than any other options.

My friends and I had a lovely stay! Super clean and very friendly staff. The rooms were clean, had no issues. Couple points: - I liked that they offered free essential toiletries if you forgot to pack something (toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving kits, lotion) - The room was stocked with Dove products (soap shampoo, conditioner and lotions) - The room had a Keurig and a microwave which was nice - The breakfast was decent: they served eggs, bacon, muffins, potatoes, pancakes, bagels, oatmeal and of course, coffee - If I needed anything, I called front desk. The hotel is brand new and so the rooms.ans common areas are in excellent condition. The staff was also very nice and super helpful so my complaints are not with them at all! The primary issue is that the two elevators are not sufficient for the hotel capacity. I found myself taking the stairs after waiting 10 minutes. That is more than enough time to miss your Uber etc. People who need elevators should be aware of unusual wait times to get up and down the hotel. Since the title is brand new it makes me question what kind of design flaw this is. it really must be addressed because it will only.get worse over time as the elevators get older..also the breakfast items were not available during the entire period. i mean, completely empty chafing dishes. That's just sad..
