Horrible. Walked down hall and was hit with smoke smell. We are non smokers, non smoking room. Door going outside just open no lock on it at all, so need to swipe card. Our room had torn up trash on the floor by fridge. Bed looked like someone had laid down in it. We were on 1st floor, windows had no way to lock. TV power did not work with remote. Had to get up to turn off and on. Breakfast was horrible. Toast, cold cereal, pancakes. No juice or decaf coffee. Cigarette buts all over the ground at front entry, and side door that was not secured.

No one was at the desk or in the hallways when we arrived. Had to call a number that no one answered. We left and came back to a rude man who didn’t want to get up off of his chair. When we did not have an ice bucket and had a dirty bath towel, instead of giving them to me, he walked me back to my room to confirm that I had no ice bucket and felt my dirty towel wasn’t dirty enough to replace! What????? It appeared that a man was asked to leave the building and maybe had been living there. He had his trucked backed into the back entrance loading through out the night. He had the door propped open so that anyone could enter the building! Super 8 chain should be ashamed of this location. Do better! Also, the smoke detector had plastic over it to allow the previous occupants to smoke undetected. Nice job cleaning the room if you didn’t notice this. Wow, just wow!

Rooms in Super8 East Moline are reasonably clean, but inconsistent and kinda dingy because of age of equipment and furnishings. Mismatched and old. Some rooms have a set of soaps and towels, some don’t. Staircases and hallways could use carpet shampoo and some good scrubbing, not to mention the side entrance door which I would recommend not touching the handle. But, what to expect from Super8?…

tolet wasnt clean correctly black stuff handing from inside top of bowl bedding staind and had burn holes all furniture was very badly worn and scratched ..no soap or shampoo no coffee in room ..so called breakfast was toast, waffle ,apple or cereal .and coffee ..nothing else ..carpet was falling apart ..dryer didint work..absolutly no security except for local law enforcement would drive thru parking lot ..and when you eat bad food or all the drugs constantly having to breath in all thru propert ..my case was it didint help my contents in my stomach to stay down and i got charged and extra 20 dollar to have bedding cleaned than was in very bad shape to begin with ..thank you hotel .com for the recomendation and false pic of property ..wont be stay at and super 8 ever again or use hotel.com ..guess when i go to arizona in next month or so ..you can both think about why the internet cant be trusted ..and why you all will be out of work soon

I like the hotel location because of a good restaurant and a gas station nearby. The front desk and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. I feel sorry for the staff because of the hotel being in such poor condition. My room has only one outlet that worked. No trash can, some lights didn’t work. The bathroom door was cracked and faucets were rusty and old. I asked for a trash can and was given a plastic bag. Requested an iron and didn’t get it. Breakfast buffet is only waffles and oranges. Some yogurt. The sign in front of the hotel didn’t work.

The smoke detector was on the chest of drawers. We told the staff. They tried to fix it, but could not, so there was a serious issue with safety. Also, one of the rooms we rented had bedbugs. All in all in was not a pleasant experience.

A filthy dump! As you walk through the ever present cloud of pot smoke, you'll notice how disgusting the carpets are--my wife would not take off her shoes except to go to bed. Sheets were washed, but stained. Comforter had cigarette burns.The breakfast area was so grimy, we left without eating.

I’m seeking a refund. The room was not clean, smelled of smoke and mildew. Smoke detector was missing from ceiling shoved in a drawer with no batteries. Dirt and bugs on the floor in the bathroom. Would not refund as I booked through Expedia. Was not acceptable for myself and children to stay at. We booked another hotel and left.

We killed five cockroaches in one night. Varying sizes some larger some small. Our shower drain was clogged with hair so when we showered water accumulated up over our feet. The bed was not very comfortable. (Lumpy) and betting had a few stains.

When my husband and I arrived my husband did the check in and it went fine. I noticed the furniture was stained and shrugged it off. We got in our room and it all went down hill. My expectations were low for the price of this hotel. But immediately my husband (who owns and manages rental properties) says “it smells like pest spray in here, don’t put anything down.” Then he pointed out liquid residue on many surfaces and we found a roach in the toilet. So we went back downstairs. The front desk was reasonable until the moment my husband took our stuff back to the car. Then he was rude and pushy to me and so dismissive. And now they won’t respond to Expedia so that I can have my night refunded. He tried to play dumb about having roaches but the strong smell and humidity made it clear it had been sprayed that day. We went and stayed at the Hyatt. This place was too disgusting.

First off, the gentleman that worked the front desk was very unfriendly and acted as though I was disturbing him. Second, We missed the info that there was a 100.00 deposit for this room. I informed him that we didn’t have an extra amount of money for the deposit. He dismissed us and continued to load his car with computer equipment. You would think that they would welcome the business considering there were only 3 cars in the parking lot and one being the fri t desk agent. I would not recommend and I will not return.

Staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond the rooms were clean and it was quite.Their breakfast was decent although they were out juice 😔 but overall great experience.

This is an OK Super 8 that needs alot of loving. The room was clean. The TV still had aniloge feeds off the local cable system. Room sink had drain issues and towels had to be asked for. Biggest plus was the resautant just next door.

The entire place was very unclean and unkept, except the room.The entire building smelled like Marijuana. They served no breakfast like stated in the amenities listing. And it is not located in East Moline it is in Silvis.

It seems to be just alright hotels in this area. Nothing superb and makes you want to come back. Or, makes you refer colleagues to the area. I was there on business. Arrived a few hours early and was charged an early check in fee, which has never happened before. I was given a disabled room. It was located in the back of the hotel. No good lighting and right next to the garbage containers. When I would get off at night, there were no lights back there and sometimes people would be hanging out smoking back there. But the people were friendly. The rooms are outdated, but clean (I still had to clean the bathroom before I used it). No amenities were there. Small fridge and older microwave available. Not complaining, as I was just there to shower and sleep. Was out 16 hours of the day. Otherwise, you get what you pay for.

I like the hotel location because of a good restaurant and a gas station nearby. The front desk and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. I feel sorry for the staff because of the hotel being in such poor condition. My room has only one outlet that worked. No trash can, some lights didn’t work. The bathroom door was cracked and faucets were rusty and old. I asked for a trash can and was given a plastic bag. Requested an iron and didn’t get it. Breakfast buffet is only waffles and oranges. Some yogurt. The sign in front of the hotel didn’t work.

Not the worst place I’ve ever stayed, but close. You can’t ask for much for $49/night. Property is run down. Breakfast was minimal at best. Mold in the bathroom. But got a good nights sleep.

The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. The TV sits too low to be seen from the bed. The bathroom light switch is outside the bathroom (by 5 ft.), the shower curtain rod was not mounted correctly, and there is no nightlight of any kind (we opened the door to the microwave to get low light as all other lighting was too bright & the bathroom light shined straight onto the bed). The breakfast is a continental breakfast (im being kind) w/ cereal, hot waffle... but the oj machine was out of service.... syrup was empty, no milk, and only coffee to drink). Fresh apple & oranges. Staff were alerted to the lack of acrrual consumables, but had nothing to serve & appeared to not care. People left the breakfast room filthy & staff didnt clean up. I appreiated the lack of bedbugs, but the carpet in the room and hallways are old & need replacement. We won't go to this super8 again.

Horrible. Walked down hall and was hit with smoke smell. We are non smokers, non smoking room. Door going outside just open no lock on it at all, so need to swipe card. Our room had torn up trash on the floor by fridge. Bed looked like someone had laid down in it. We were on 1st floor, windows had no way to lock. TV power did not work with remote. Had to get up to turn off and on. Breakfast was horrible. Toast, cold cereal, pancakes. No juice or decaf coffee. Cigarette buts all over the ground at front entry, and side door that was not secured.

tolet wasnt clean correctly black stuff handing from inside top of bowl bedding staind and had burn holes all furniture was very badly worn and scratched ..no soap or shampoo no coffee in room ..so called breakfast was toast, waffle ,apple or cereal .and coffee ..nothing else ..carpet was falling apart ..dryer didint work..absolutly no security except for local law enforcement would drive thru parking lot ..and when you eat bad food or all the drugs constantly having to breath in all thru propert ..my case was it didint help my contents in my stomach to stay down and i got charged and extra 20 dollar to have bedding cleaned than was in very bad shape to begin with ..thank you hotel .com for the recomendation and false pic of property ..wont be stay at and super 8 ever again or use hotel.com ..guess when i go to arizona in next month or so ..you can both think about why the internet cant be trusted ..and why you all will be out of work soon

The bathroom was disgusting. I couldnt even take a shower & you could see the black mold through the paint. They only cleaned what they looked at. Like one side out of 4 of the lamp shades. Was it cheap? Yes. But it still shouldnt have black mold & you be able to shower.
